Room doesn't look like the pictures, look old and dated, bed mattress was in very bad shape and felt damp every night. There is not air conditioner. Very loud neighborhood from Wednesday to Saturday, impossible to sleep. Location was great and management very good.

The location is AMAZING! It's right in the heart of Old Town. Bars, restaurants and shops at every turn! If you are someone who isn't going to be staying in the room all day, then this one is good for the price. You can't beat the location. It's self check in and the machine wasn't working so we had to call the number listed and someone gave us the codes over the phone.

Apartment-style hotel in heart of Dusseldorf

Excellent location, in the town center (Altstadt), near the river. Many restaurants in immediate location and ferris wheel. Convenient to subway. (Can be a little noisy at night, but that goes with the territory)

This was a disaster....TV didn't work, WiFi didn't work, no response to requests to repair. Small face towels instead of bath towels. Heating system terrible....boil or freeze. Curtains leave you exposed to view from adjacent buildings.

Location is excellent to all restaurants and the river. Apartment pictures are not representative of actual condition. No lift; rooms down dark, narrow and dirty hallway. Kitchen not well supplied. Very dissatisfied.

Stayed in the hotel for a night. The location is delightful and right by the oldtown though it comes w/ some level of noise (music, etc) till pretty late but I found that by using an ear plugs I could get a pretty good sleep :)

Clean and modern

Difficult to find by car. Hotel is located right in the centre of aldstadt. There is no parking close by and nearest parking is very expensive.
Very modern and clean.
Reception staff friendly.
Although our room was non smoking, as soon as you step out into the corridor there is a constant smell of cigarettes.
Floorboards in the room were very noisy!
Our room was next door to reception and we could hear everyone checking in and out but noise from nearby clubs and bars didn't bother us.
Kitchenette and tea and coffee making facilities much appreciated. There is also a fridge.
Many bars and restaurants close by.

Central apartments in Dusseldorf

The apartments were a great size, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the apartments are in a busy part of town and some people may complain of the noise it is the perfect location for getting around and we did not find the hustle and bustle a problem at all, if anything it was a bonus to be in such a central location. There is no lift is this concerns some people but the hotel only covers 3 floors, we were on the 2nd floor. The usual towels and soap etc are supplied but each room had a little kitchenette with a fridge so I would recommend taking or buying some supplies for a cup of tea/coffee and some snacks for breakfast. Would definitely book this place again for our next trip to Dusseldorf

Lovely apartment for the weekend. Clean towels everyday. It's on a street full of bars and restaurants and shops so you don't have to travel far. In the evening it can be a little noisy if your windows are open but it didn't stop us sleeping.
Definitely recommend.

Well hidden secret in the heart of Altstad

Central to excellent shopping, food, and bars. Exactly where we needed to be. Cool locals and views everywhere! Karneval was a blast. We would definitely come stay again.

GO anywhere ELSE!

I travel for a living, and spend ~250 days out of the year in hotels. Never have I been treated as poorly as I was in this hotel.

To start, it is a dirty hotel, with lots of stairs to the reception, which is basically a small office off a dark holiday. From there, things got worse.

My company was in town for the Medica, and had multiple rooms booked down the road. I booked one room here, for one night, just in case we needed another. At one point in the weeks leading up, I questioned the need to have this room, and sent a message through Orbitz, to the hotel, asking about the cancellation policy. I never heard anything back. We assumed we still had the room, and ended up needing it. Upon arrival, not only was I told that the room was cancelled, but they had no rooms. They also refused to show me any documentation showing that they received my question, and cancelled without answering me. It was a mess, and I bunked with a colleague.

I was told that the refund would come from Orbitz, but it never came. Today, I called Orbitz again and was told the hotel was now saying they kept the money, there was no cancellations allowed, even though the manager at the time said they had refunded Orbitz.

I then called the manager, and he could not have been more rude. After his 3rd “whatever,” I had enough. I am putting AMEX on the case now, but after staying in hundreds of hotels, I can say I found the pinnacle of unprofessional, dirty hotels.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. We stayed on a Tuesday in June. It was very hot but with the windows open the room cooled. There is no A/C or even a fan. With the windows open however, the noise from the street was extremely loud. The hotel offered ear plugs. The noise subsided around 3 am and I was able to fall asleep. With the windows closed the noise was significantly muffled but the room was extremely hot. With the windows open, the room cooled off but was too noisy for me to fall asleep.

Well located hotel

This is a very well located hotel in the \"Alt Town\" area of Dusseldorf. A few steps out of the door and you have a multitude of shops, bars, breweries and restaurants to explore within easy walking distance.

The hotel itself is very much an apartment hotel with good sized rooms and basic kitchen facilities if you want to eat the odd meal in. having said that the rooms were clean and tidy and the beds comfortable (the beds are split down the middle, but are pushed together).

The only down side of the hotel is the fact that it is located in the same place as the Papagayo Nightclub which rocks through until around 4.30am and is pretty loud. Solution is to take some ear plugs or to go to the club until it closes!

Despite the club we would still use it again as it is competitively priced and in a great location.

The hotel is nice, clean and the location and the price is good. The only reason I have it a 4 stars not 5 is because it could get a little noisy at night with the club right under it however the location and the friendly staff made up for it

Pros: The hotel is located in the center and the staff was nice.

Cons: Is in the middle of a noisy street, without air conditioning and don't expect to be able to open the windows because of the loud sound (and it was a Wednesday). The WIFI was not working, the room smell funny. Additionally, just in front the reception is a room with old and dirty things, it does give a good impression of the hotel.

Fantastic Location

Hotel is located in the centre of many bars and restaurants and is ideal for a night out. However, the only one point to bear in mind is that it is very noisy and music didn't stop playing until 4.30am - if you are a light sleeper, perhaps not the best location.

An expensive hostel

Centro provides expensive hostel-type accommodation. First room assigned was mustsy, cold and noisy with opaque windows. The room we were moved to, following our complaint, was an improvement.
There are no common areas; a part-time reception is located in a cubby-hole; and there is no lift. Outside signage is not obvious or helpful in locating 'hostel'.
Staff were helpful and responsive but cannot overcome inherent inadeqaucies in accommodation.
Great location in old town for young people who want to crash out.

While the location of the hotel, right in the heart of old Dusseldorf, was excellent, this is not a hotel for business travelers or anyone who desires a quiet nights sleep. The hotel is over a night club that operates well past 4AM. If you are there as tourist who is looking to party all night and sleep during the day, then this is a place for you.

Styr unna! Leiligheten er i svært dårlig forfatning. Døra til badet må åpnes og lukkes med makt da den har fuktskader nederst. Alle møbler og kjøkkenskap er skjeve. Flust av uteplasser i gata rett utenfor vinduet og det er dårlig isolering, så høres ut som om festen er i stua til lagt ut på natta. Man kan høre alle som kommer og går i bygget. Anbefaler ingen å overnatte her!

Really bad, seem not to care about the guests.

I know this is a budget place, and 100eur pr night is not a lot. But - too much noise as the location is right in the middle of the old town with all the bars and restaurants. Also, there was only a thin door between my room and my neighbour, meaning that I could hear everything even when they had their tv turned on. Also, no heating in the room as the radiator had no handle, so needed to sleep fully dressed. Sent them an sms regarding the missing handle, as they didn't even bother to respond, they get only 1 star from me.
Room is ok and location fine (except for the noise from street and possible neughbours). Would only recommend to young people.

Estaria bien aire acondicionado, ya que por el ruido tienes que cerrar ventanas, él apartamento está bien. Tiene lo básico y es confortable. Incluso pedi entrar antes del check in y sin problemas y salir un poco después de la hora y sin problamas. Estuve con mi hijo y la verdad los dos muy bien y agusto.Tengo claro que repetiré.

Duschvorhang schon länger defekt. Dunkle schmale Gänge. Schranktüren hingen durch.
Dafür war eine Küchenzeile integriert mit Kühlschrank, bei den momentanen Temperaturen sehr angenehm.

They cancelled my booking (made 6 months in advance) days before the stay - after confirming the booking twice per telephone & mail. They did have available rooms, but offered it only at the current price - approx 5 times the price from my original booking. I ended up staying somewhere else.

Dette gikk dårlig.

Oppholdet fikk en meget dårlig start da Automaten for innsjekk ikke virket. Problemet forsterket seg da det telefon nr jeg hadde fått oppgitt fra dere var et Fax nr!!!!!!! Men det var notert et nr på en dør ved Automaten, så det var håp. Forsøkte å ringe 10 ganger rundt kl 16, intet svar. Forsøkte nye 8 oppringinger ca kl 18 intet svar. Etter flere forsøk utover kvelden og søk etter nye overnattings muligheter og forsøk på å finne folk i tilknytning til Hotellet fikk jeg svar kl 2026. Da var det ca 30 forsøk på telefonen og forsøk å prate med folk som drev restauranter og barer i gata for å finne folk som kunne svar. Kl 2050 etter å måtte forlate resturangen i det biff middagen ble servert. Så dette ble en meget dårlig opplevelse. Men det ble en god natts søvn. Det ble det ikke neste natt, da en restaurant litt lengre bort i gata spilte vanvittig høy og bass befengt musikk fremt i ca kl 0500 på morgenkvisten, det var så det skranglete i deler av inventaret.
Svært misfornøyd med dette oppholdet. Ønsker at dere tar kontakt med meg om dette.

Zu verbessern: Haare und schwarze Krümel in den frisch bezogenen Betten, ausgefranste Verdunklungsrollos

No Go: Essensreste in der Kitchenette (angebrochene Tüte Salat im Kühlschrank, ...), Tauben auf dem Flur, die ab 5 Uhr gurren und Dreck hinterlassen.

Am Rande der Feiermeile & mittendrin, GUT!!!

Wer feiern möchte und nah genug dran sein will am Geschehen, dabei Wert auf ein sauberen Rückzugsort legt und nicht ganz auf ein charmantes Ambiente verzichten will, ist hier goldrichtig. War nun das zweite Mal 3 Nächte dort und habe es sehr geniessen können. Nicht das billigste aber eben auch so wie erwartet und beworben, anders als viele andere kostengünstigere Zimmer Angebote, die nicht das halten was sie versprechen und in Punkto Sauberkeit oft weit unter dem bleibt was man als Mindestanforderung als Gas haben darf. Hier macht man also nichts falsch wenn man im gehobenen Mittelfeld residieren möchte bei erechtfertigten Preisen. Gerne wieder und wenn es keine Preisexplosion gibt auch noch öfter.

Sehr geräumiges Appartement. Liegt direkt im Geschehen. Bis an den Rhein sind es gerade mal 5 minuten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder kommen!

Schlechteste Organisation eines Hotels

Obwohl wir ein Zimmer reserviert und bezahlt hatten, hatte das Hotel kein Zimmer mehr für uns frei und hat uns weit weg von der Altstadt umqartiert, so das wir noch ca. 1,5h das neue Hotel suchen mussten, bis wir es gefunden und eingecheckt hatten

Super Lage

Unser Zimmer war hell, sauber, groß und geräumig, die Betten war bequem. Es ist allerdings sehr laut bei geöffnetem Fenster. Die Rezeptionistin war sehr nett.
Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl, aber bei dem Preis kann man auch 3 Stockwerke hochlaufen.
Auf jedenfalls empfehlenswert für junge Reisende.

Perfekt läge i Düsseldorf och nära till allt, och en tunnelbanestation bara någon minut bort. Den stora bargatan ligger precis runt hörnet, men det var inget som hördes in till rummet eller störde. Det enda minuset är kuddarna, som i princip bara var luft i, och att vi inte fick tillgång till rummets förns en timme efter att incheckningen hade startat. Skulle absolut bo här igen nästa gång jag besöker Dusselforf!

versteckte Lage

schwierig zu finden, steile Treppe rauf und gleich wieder runter weil mein zimmer im Nachbarhaus ist... Treppe wieder hoch, das ist nichts für schwere Koffer oder Gehbehinderung. Das Zimmer selbst dann topp, und sehr freundliche Menschen.
