Probably my 5th time staying at this hotel. Location is great. Less than 10 mins walk to the metro. Lots of restaurants around the hotel so finding food is not an issue.
Hotel needs some refurbishment though. Rooms are dated. Carpet and bathroom js old and could do with some updating.

Nice staff and excellent welcome and glass of bubbly on arrival, nice and comprehensive breakfast options.
Room was comfortable and roomy. Nice shower. One or two minor tired features in room but very minor.
Our only disappointment was the bar was closed on Sunday and Monday? No idea why - so they lost some good business from a party of 5 staying. Hotel is a short walk from the main shopping and restaurant area of town. The Hotel though does sit on the edge of the Japanese area - so lot's of those kinds of eateries closer by.

I have written to the manager already to say what an asset they have in their staff. I have been all over the world, staying in all kinds of hotel for business and pleasure. The staff at the Leonardo in Dusseldorf were exceptional. Good hotel close to the centre, plenty of local bars and restaurants.

A lovely hotel not too far from the rail station. It is on a fairly busy road with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. The town centre is a short walk or underground trip. The hotel room was large and had good amenities, but the bathroom was on the small side. The bed was comfortable. The hotel room, bathroom and general hotel were very clean and well presented. The only negatives was the air con that did not really cool the room down on days when temperatures were over 28 Celsius, and sometimes room service did not come around until after 5pm to clean up the room.

The property is located in a great area. Close to the main shops, restaurants and train station. Rooms are a decent size, beds are firm but that's to be expected, pillows could use some help, they're flat and lumpy.

Worst thing was not having AC while it's 80 degrees out. When I asked the staff why my AC wasn't turning on I got a different response every time. First, it was the government controlling the AC, then I was told it might be broken, and finally I was just given a fan to use since the AC didn't even turn on in my room. I was highly disappointed because part of the reason I chose this hotel was because it claims to have air conditioning.

Great spot without a car

The hotel is in a great part of of town. It is maintained pretty well, but the age shows. Parking is horrendous and highly not recommend especially with a SUV. Recommend as long as you don't have a car as parking is still difficult with a small car.

Great but lack of safety

Basically we love staying in this hotel. But one thing really bad was the safety in the bathroom. We will need to stand or sit in the slippery tub when we shower. So once, i slipped, holding onto the movable glass panel and fell out of the tub onto the floor. A few days later, my husband slipped and sat on his bum inside the tub while standing. There was no safety hand bar, non slipped base and with the movable glass panel, makes showering a chore.

Wonderful little hotel! Majority of the attractions are within walking distance if you don't mind walking. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. Check in amd check out was smooth. The lady who was bartending was also very kind. Our room was clean, spacious, and matched the pictures well. We had a view of the street below. Not a bad price for everything there is to offer for this hotel. If I ever return to Düsseldorf I will stay here again. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a place to stay.

I was very happy with the hotel. Staff were polite spoke English and very helpful, arrived early and they got me room right away. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Shower had good pressure and lots hot water. The breakfast included with my staf was outstanding. Regretted I had to catch early flight and missed it second day. Only negative was air conditioning did not work and open window for good breeze but faced front street so was noisy. I would book this hotel again next time without question.

Nice and stylish hotel with small but well equipped rooms. Great location within walking distance to most of the places I needed to get to. Staff at night didn't speak much English but still tried to be helpful. No restaurant or bar open upon my late arrival which was quite inconvenient.
The only super disappointing thing was dirty towels - both of them. One had less of a mark, another one had a clear palm print of dust or something of the likes on it. I commented

A comfortable stay at a nice hotel, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A special mention to the Bar manager, he was the best cocktail bar man I have encountered in a long time.

I was disappointed with condition of this hotel. I choose a superior room and surprised how small the rooms were and the lack of up keep. Scratches on the walls, poor quality of the towels and bed linens. The picture online are nice - they don’t reflect the real thing.

Had to be moved as I was first given an economy room when I had paid for a comfort sized room. One lift and my bedroom floor were quite dirty, a spider had been squashed on the wall but not removed. Don't know if it's a case of limited cleaning staff during covid, but for a 4 star rated hotel, the cleanliness was very below average in my opinion. For a hotel with boutique in the name, normally there's some room slippers and a bath robe. Aside from that, the bed was big and comfy, the shower was nice and the staff are friendly. Location is good, within a 10 minute walk of both central station and city centre

We liked how clean the hotel was . Carpets on the staircase looked new. Friendly staff on reception. 10 minutes walk to Central railway station and 10 minutes walk to the main shops . Plenty of local shops and places to eat and drink. Buffet breakfast was 15 Euros each if bought the day before . Plenty of hot and cold food to choose from . Beds were very comfortable .Room was quiet.

Good location, easy walk to the train station, bed very comfy, shower pressure good, wifi is quick too. Parking is limited, very tight parking spaces, but public parking within short walk. Underground train within walk too, quiet inside as well. Supermarket around the corner, bank nearby, and opposite a subway sandwich place, and bakery and McDonald’s within short walk.

Great hotel in a great location!

Hotel, staff and amenities were great. We even got a free upgrade on arrival to a slightly bigger room! Only downsides were a leaking shower - looks like the doors are about an inch too small, the shower was too small in general which meant not enough room to move and constantly knocking the taps adjusting the temp or turning it off entirely. Other than that, it’s a great hotel in a great central location! Less than a 5 minute walk to Düsseldorf HBF (Central Station) and many restaurants and kiosks very close by too!

The hotel is very clean and the rooms are large and comfortable. If you're used to keeping the AC like a refrigerator, this is not the place. We were there during a heatwave and it was better to open the window and use the fan that was provided.
Plenty of restaurants nearby. There is a laundromat about 50 meters as you turn right out of the hotel. I washed all of my clothes from the previous week for about 5 euros.
About a 10 minute walk to Konigsallee, maybe 15-20 to altstadt and the riverwalk.

I stayed here for four nights. The hotel itself was immaculate, very modern and rooms very spacious. It’s in a good location with only a 15minute walk into the main area of Düsseldorf. The only downside to my stay was the bar. It was beautifully decorated with what appeared to be a good selection of drinks... but there was no bar staff on when it stated that the bar was actually open. One of the receptionists was making a coffee for a fellow guest and stayed she would be back to take our drinks order, 15minutes went past and she did not return. We decided to give the bar up as a bad job. When we saw the receptionist a little while later at the desk she didn’t even apologise or acknowledge us.

The manager did not bother to ask what exactly happen trying to leave the Blame on me. After I complaint to Expedia They tried to convinced me by email that it was miss understanding.
All the credit to Sonia from Expedia helped me so much , she was amazing.

great first night but...

The overall experience was very good. Friendly staff, nice deco and room. I stayed for 2 night and on my second night the room was not cleaned and stocked properly. There was no coffe or water available, the towels left on the floor were just put back to be reused and there was some soap spillage which made the whole bathroom sink sticky.

Porte laissée ouverte toute la journée par le ménage + l'accueil n'en avait absolument rien à faire. J'ai retrouvé mes bijoux par terre.
Ménage pas fait tous les jours obligée de demander au desk de vérifier que ce soit fait.
Mon amie avait pris une autre chambre et ses bijoux ont clairement disparus de la chambre, là encore aucune réaction du desk qui s'en fichait royalement.
Propreté laissant à désirer, literie à revoir (couette minuscule qui fait la moitié du lit, chauffage de la chambre cassé il fait 26degré impossible de dormir correctement. Salle de bain vetuste avec joint noir. Un scandale vu le prix que j'ai payé

Rigtig dejligt hotel, dejlige værelser, god seng. Der kan være lidt larm fra gaden, da det er ud til en travl gade og med mange bar. Parkering er meget snæver, så man skal være komfortable med dette, hvis man tager bilen med. Hyggelig hotel bar med gode drinks.

Jeg har bodd på dette hotellet ved et par anledninger. Hotellet er hyggelig og helt ok. Service, tilstand etc er helt på snittet. Ikke noe spesielt å klage over, men heller ikke noe som løfter opplevelsen over det ordinære. At hotellet blir kalt et \"Boutique\"-hotell setter ihvertfall noen krav til standard og opplevelse (\"A small, intimate, and often luxurious hotel, typically with under 100 rooms, that offers a unique, personalized experience focused on design, ambiance, and attentive service\").

Det treffer ikke min opplevelse av å være unikt, service er ganske passiv, og det er ingenting som gir en personlig opplevelse. Men på den andre siden: Hva kan man kreve for under 100€ pr natt? Gjerne forventningene ved å ta bort \"Boutique\" så fungerer hotellet helt fint.

La estancia en el hotel, buena. El objetivo era desarrollar actividad de turismo, si más pretensiones, pero la habitación que se nos proporcionó era muy pequeña (505), sin mesilla de noche en el cabecero de la cama, sin sitio para dejar objetos de viaje, ducha incómoda, muy pequeña. Una sola silla, echando de menos, en cualquier caso, una mínima mesita auxiliar. Por lo demás, desayuno bueno, y estancia aceptable.
