Not for me… sorry.

Sorry… it’s not a thumbs up from me. You enter the hotel and there is a distinct smell. The only way to describe it is that it smells like someone has put deodorant on top of an already bad smell. Like trying to disguise something. It’s quite horrid. I thought it would go away… it didn’t.
Three people on reception, made me wait quite a while to check in, even though only one person was busy. That also wasn’t great… but probably the worst thing is.. in the bedroom, the carpet is thread bear, it doesn’t feel nice underfoot, but worse than that, they have a plastic mattress protector that makes so much noise, and makes you feel sweaty and not nice… I didn’t want to stay, but I had already paid up front.

Nice location

The hotel is located in the city center, about 7-8 mins walk from the central train station HBF and less than 10 mins walk from Konigsallee and its stores. The hotel is very nice and the Moxy concept is interesting with its bar adjoining the front desk. The room is a little small but clean.

Good location, beside underground station 2 stops to the Alt Stadt which was a nice surprise.. Beds are not great, basic, cheap mattresses, not sure how they're queen size.
Breakfast was decent, standard German offerings plus some more American style options.

Boutique to a fault

Nice hotel in a fantastic area right off the Japanese district with some amazing food within walking distance but with long queues often to get in in the evening. Plenty of bookable options within a cab ride.

The room was “boutique”. It was basically a bed, chair, small desk, a metal grid on the wall with 4 hangers and a TV + bathroom. You lived out your suitcase. No creature comforts; kettle, complimentary water, fridge, safe, Wardrobe or any storage. Fine for an overnight but for a longer business trip I personally like to settle into a room. No onsite restaurant was an issue for me especially after a long day when I don’t want to go food hunting at local restaurants.

Great stay in Dusseldorph

Our stay at this Moxy was great. The staff was very helpful, and the large room we were given met all our needs. The quirky nature of this brand of Marriott hotels made the lobby/bar area very entertaining. We found ourself spending every evening enjoying the atmosphere and drinks. The proximity to the Christmas Markets allowed for a simple walk to reach all the fun.

Great location with U-Bahn station right in front and Hauptbahnhof down the street, lots of shops and restaurants nearby, good sized room.
No fridge or coffee maker/kettle in room if that’s important to you. No wash cloths in bathroom but I had brought my own.
Front desk/reception not very helpful or welcoming. Couldn’t check in early, couldn’t offer locked area for our bags (although there was an option to leave bags in an open area if we so wished). Housekeeper left cleaning supplies in our room so we returned it to the front desk.
Depends on what you need. For us this property was just okay, met our needs for this visit with family in Dusseldorf due to location.

Service in general were bad; only 3 staff that actually smiles and greets customers. Bartender in the evening was rude; staff in the very early morning when I checked out on July 22nd was also rude. Hairdryer is not good; my hair got stuck in it. They didn’t put shampoo/ body wash, but conditioner in both bottles in the bahroom

The hotel room was well overpriced far from the quality. It was far from standards seen across the hotel room market. Food from menu was not available. Burgers made from frozen buns. Rooms were missing proper desk, kettle , water, wardrobes. Standard equipment seen in other hotels were missing. It was just a better quality hostels

Lovely Stay

Lovely hotel which was a short walk from the main train station and about 15 minutes to the old town. Staff were very friendly and the room was exceptionally clean. Nice and quiet on an evening and no road noise despite being on a main road.

What a cool hotel! The minute you walk in to reception it’s screams cool and fun. Super friendly staff. Games to play, bar - amazing breakfast. Lockers for the day of departure when you need to check out but need to keep your luggage somewhere for a few hours.

Overall, I loved the hotel. Super trendy and fun! Cool concept. BUT..the bed was uncomfortable (seemed like a cheap/flimsy mattress). Also, the second night we stayed, the rooms were extremely hot and we could not turn the temperature down. We were told that since it was cooler outside, the AC option had been turned off?!? So, no one in our part of 5 got any sleep that night.

Das Gute an dem Hotel waren das freundliche Personal sowie die Lage. Ansonsten, war das Moxy extrem schlecht ausgestattet. Es hatte keinen Safe, keinen Wasserkocher, keinen Kühlschrank und sogar einen Duschvorhang, der leider das Spritzwasser überhaupt nicht verhindern konnte. Das Zimmer wurde auch nicht besonders gut gereinigt. Wir waren bereits in Moxys und bisher immer zufrieden, aber das hatte wirklich einen tiefen Standard.

Er is een heel mooi hotel en een mooie kamer maar wat ik niet begrijp is dat hot hotels tegenwoordig besparen op de kwaliteit van het bed. Het is gewoon een plank met een matras erop.


Ik snap dat dus echt niet, het bed is toch het allerbelangrijkste in een hotelkamer?

Het resultaat is dat je dus een hard bed hebt. En dan moet je wel van houden.

Ottimo hotel in buona posizione a due passi da LT

Hotel ben tenuto e pulito. Sono stato molto bene e la dotazione in camera è più che sufficiente. Bella la possibilità di connettere il cel alla tv per visionare i contenuti delle proprie piattaforme, tipo Netflix o Prime.
L'insonorizzazione delle camere non è il massimo e le porte sbattono molto forte in fase di chiusura.

Keyifli bir konaklama

Çok güzel bir konaklama tecrübesi yaşadık. Çalışanlar sıcak kanlı güler yüzlü yardımcı oluyorlar. Odalar geniş ferah ancak bir eksiklik var buzdolabı olması gerekli . Bir kusuru bu gerisi mükemmel bir otel. Heryere yürüyerek gidebiliyorsunuz.

Wir (32,6 und 11 Jahre) waren das erste mal im diesem Hotel und es hat uns sehr gefallen.
Es ist eine kleine feine Einrichtung. Den kleinen hat das Bad vorallem die Dusche gefallen.
Nächstes Jahr werden wir es bestimmt wieder Buchen, denn ist nur ca 5 Minuten Laufweg vom Bahnhof entfernt .
