Excellent communication from the Sleep Inn Dusseldorf team and very friendly at check in/out.
We had a family room with 4 beds - it's actually 2 rooms with an adjoining door and this was perfect as we then had 2 bathrooms!
Location is excellent - 10 mins walk to the main train station and only a short distance into the town (for the Christmas Markets). Highly recommend, especially for families of 4.

We stayed for just one night and had a good experience overall. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable right away. The room was clean and well-kept. It was a little noisy at night if the window was open since it faced the road, but with the windows closed it was quiet enough to sleep well. A nice place for a short stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good. It is conveniently located in the city where everything is in walking distance. Whenever we are in Düsseldorf we are definitely staying at this hotel. The only thing is the parking garage is not conveniently located within or across the hotel, but it was not an issue for us.

Overall this is a great stay, the hotel is spotless and has nice furnishings, it is very good value. The location is amazing if you want to be within walking distance to the main train station and downtown.

My only issue is the room size, if you are coming with more than 1 suitcase be prepared to live out of your suitcase, while the kitchenette is nice to have, it comes at the expense of no bag storage area besides a small front closet. For two people it is extremely tight.

I am also not convinced we were given the 237sq/ft room as per our booking, however, I am not certain, but based on other small places I have stayed this was very small and tight. If having more room is of value to you I would recommend their suites.

Really good location, close to main train station (5 min walk) and also to the UBahn station Oststrasse (5 mins). Excellent variety of restaurants in the area too. Hotel very nice, the room was clean and comfortable. Free coffee and water every day, but no tea....why not? Not everyone drinks coffee. However the reception staff who were very helpful and friendly gave us teabags to use each day, but really just put some in the room along with the coffee pods.

Very very clean hotel. Front desk staff were all very nice. Upon checking out, I did forget an outfit in my room drawer. When I called about it, the front desk staff said hey would check with house keeping and check the room again. They stayed nothing was left, even though I know for a fact it was left there....guess that’s what happens when I leave my lululemons.

Small hotel in great location, very clean and a super friendly service. 5min walk to the train station to take e train to cologne, 8 min walk to the Altstadt and , lots of restaurants around and a grocery store right across the street! Good overall

I stayed there for two nights. The hotel seemed fairly new. My room was by itself on the first floor, which was odd, but quiet. It smelled bad in the bathroom, also like fresh cement, and I think it’s because they were repairing something right on the platform outside of my room.
No nice view, only to the cement roof, but I didn’t care. The room was comfortable. The bed and comforters very nice.
People at the front desk were very nice too.
Breakfast room and breakfast were simple but nice.

The only thing that bothered me (besides a bit the smell in the bathroom) was that the microwave plate in my room was dirty.

Also a bit pricey. But I guess it’s because of its centric location.

Handy, pleasant spot in central Dusseldorf

Sleep Inn has a good location, about 12 minute walk from the Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof). The neighborhood is filled with restaurants and bakeries. Our favorite was the traditional German Schumacher, about 2 blocks away on the same street. The food was terrific and the Altbier -- the local specialty -- is brewed in house, and was delicious. We also recommend Mama Dang's, a Thai/Asian fusion restaurant right around the corner. Both places were recommended by the desk clerk. The staff were all very helpful, making good recommendations, helping find the right train, and ordering a cab for us at 5am. We stayed one night, then went to another town for a few days, and when we returned for a final 2 nights in Dusseldorf, we decided to stay again at the Sleep Inn because we had been very happy with the room, the staff, and the location. Highly recommend.

Expedia wrongly advertised

Expedia have this hotel advertised as balcony courtyard view. Arrived no balcony. Staff imediately offered us a choice of 2 other rooms both with balconies there are actually only 3! The staff were amazing throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble even supplying chairs so we could use our balcony. Delivered ice to our room which was lovely and spotless throughout our stay. Wir waren mit unserem 6 Monate alten Sohn für eine Nacht in dem Hotel. Zum auspacken kann ma direkt vor dem Hotel parken. Danach parkt man das Auto in einem Parkhaus ca. 3 min fussläufig um.
Das Personal ist super nett.
Zimmer war sehr sauber und alles perfekt für den Kurzaufenthalt.

First of all, the room was different from Hotels.com's listing, with the description and photos completely different from the actual room. The hotel manager explained that all rooms on Hotels.com have the same photos, and they aren't responsible for that, and they can't do anything about it either. When I asked for an additional pillow and blanket, the receptionist said that the hotel is fully booked, so she isn't sure they have extra pillows and blankets, which I have never heard of from any hotels I've stayed at. When I said that it's meant for my son, and she responded, Well, you didn't tell us that you are bringing a kid to the hotel. I booked the hotel for 2 adults first and decided to bring my son, but the attitude was really not very nice. The elevator is very small and also broken, so we had to walk 4 floors up. the MOST DISAPPOINTING part is that the trash from the previous guests has NOT BEEN CLEANED!!!! Now this makes me doubt if the room was cleaned properly at all. Overall, not very pleasant experienceience and wouldnt recommend it.

Das Hotel kommt für uns leider nicht nochmal infrage. Es fehlte im Zimmer der Rauchmelder, das einzige gute war, dass das Personal bemüht war, alles zu beheben. Dafür wurde ein anderer Melder aus einem anderen Zimmer geholt 😄. Die Zimmer sind sehr, sehr klein, fast schon kleiner als in einem Hotel. Leider fehlte die komplette Ausstattung für die Küche. Keine Töpfe oder so, lediglich zwei Teller, zwei Tassen und zwei mal Besteck. Dafür gab es Kaffeekapseln umsonst. Die Schränke sind auch Reparaturreif. Die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich sehr freundlich, aber das macht das nicht alles aus, weil eben das Zimmer nicht stimmig war. Fahrstuhl gibt es, aber der ist total klein.
Worauf man sich noch gefasst machen muss, ist die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer. Wir hatten sogar Ärger, weil wir unsere Koffer gepackt haben und die Nachbarn sich darüber beschwert haben. Dabei hat das nicht wirklich Lärm gemacht. Unverständlich.

This is my second time staying here, and I’m really happy I made the right choice again. The staff are truly friendly and helpful.
Special thanks to the super handsome staff who helped carry my luggage upstairs during the power outage on the day I checked in, and to the lovely lady stuff who helped me call a taxi to airport when I left the hotel at 6 PM on November 18.
My stay was wonderful once again! I’ll definitely recommend Sleep Inn to my colleagues when they travel to Düsseldorf for business.

The Sleep Inn in Düsseldorf was a pleasant surprise. Booked last minute, I didn't have high hopes, but it exceeded my expectations. It is not grand on the outside nor the lobby, but my room was completely renovated with a well-equipped kitchenette and new, clean bathroom. The lobby desk personnel and cleaning staff were very friendly and although I did not eat breakfast there, the food and custom coffees looked delicious. Room price was great for such close proximity to Königsallee and Die Alt Stadt. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

重點是裡面有熱水壺，非常適合愛泡茶或需要熱水的人。

I got to stay in a room towards the street at first night and could still hear the traffic at night even it's on 5th floor. So I didn't sleep well at all..Asked for to move into the room facing the inner yard the second and it made a great difference. The location is great when there is a big supermarket next to it. The staffs are helpful.

Good location, pity for final touch

Good location in city center. Very convenient to go both Altstad and Koningsalee. The room has kitchen but you have to pay 8.00 euro to use in-room microwave and electric cooking plate every day. I couldn’t warm up a cup of milk to have to pay extra charge. It’s waste of the equipment although they renovated nicely. How about placing one microwave downstairs instead of luxurious kitchen in every room…

Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel modern und gut ausgestattet. Das Bad ist winzig, und mit der Küchenzeile bietet auch das Zimmer wenig Platz. Sehr ärgerlich war allerdings, dass mein Zimmer völlig ausgekühlt war und die Heizung auf Null stand, obwohl draußen nur wenige Grad herrschten. Es dauerte Stunden, bis die schwache Heizung den Raum angenehm temperiert bekam. Der Manager (?) war wenig lösungsorientiert und wenig entgegenkommend. Er meinte lax, einige mögen das so kalt, nächstes Mal bekäme ich ein vorgeheiztes Zimmer. Danke fürs Gespräch.
