Budget friendly hotel that is less than a 10min walk from the main train station. There are many restaurants to choose from and there is a Edeka supermarket across the street.

This is not a hotel, more of a badly run hostel. Rooms smell of smoke, pipes whistle lodlyall night long. Building work starts at 7am just in case you are finally asleep. Breakfast is added, whether you want it or not, and whetehr you have booked it or not, you will be charged, cash only, extra, in a very imtimidating way by aggressive Russian male staff. Paid a fortune for location and will never stay here again. Please be aware its horrific.

Hotel is infested with ants. I had my room changed after the first night, I told the guy at the front desk I want a room just no ants. He said he couldn't promise that, I thought he was joking, but after the 2nd day in the new room ants everywhere. The city was sold out because of a tradeshow so I was stuck. Do not stay here.

During our stay the building work next door woke us several times however the service and location is excellent! Everything you'll need is located on the same road as the hotel. The interior isn't as modern as portrayed on the photos. But good value for money, would recommend.

Handy for the train station and a bit of a walk to the old town but nothing major, but there was plenty of transport links if you didn't want to walk. The single room itself was compact but ideal enough for 1. The TV only had a few channels and not great quality and the bathroom was also on the small size. But for an overnight or couple of days stay it was ok .

A 2 star hotel. It's an aging hotel with aging interiors and furnishings. The staff was fine, but only a few speak English, so bring a translator. Accommodations were mediocre, but acceptable.

You get what you pay for...
Rooms are very simple, TV screens smaller than our computer monitors, TV stations were few and some major ones not available at all. Above all this musty smell stemming most likely from the drain in the bathroom floor or the overall badly ventilated bathroom (there was what looked like minor mold build-up around the shower).
Somewhat suspicious: the free wireless Internet showed initial IP address from Sofia, Bulgaria (and not as expected Germany). Running a VPN tunnel is, as always on public Internet, strongly recommended.
The only positive: some of the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Four of us stayed at the Rheingold for a trade show in Cologne. As is often the case when the big shows are on, you are forced to look further afield and we ended up in the Rheingoldhotel. Based on the reviews, we had limited expectations but I can certainly say that my experience was worse than I imagined.
All four double rooms we booked were in fact twins (we arrived late and had no time to take issue with this) and everything was shabby. Exposed wires, a retro TV and a general grotty decor did nothing to impress. The duvet was too small and my pillow was the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced. It was pretty noisy too. I can honestly say that the photos provided are not remotely like the room that I stayed in. Ultimately, I sense that the hotel owner knows that he has a captive market when it is 'show time' and is milking it for all it is worth!

The hotel is ok - but nothing can justify the 280 euro rate for one night - as it happens the rooms are very dated, small poky though clean; the single beds are really small. and it was a hot night - so no air conditioning means open windows - that means road noise - its on a busy main road. the staff are very pleasant and they loaned me their table fan so I did manage to get some sleep. Won't be booking again ... if its a warm day.

I was on a business trip, this hotel is perfectly located in Central Dusseldorf. I walked to all my appointments. If you need to get further afield the public transport links are right on your doorstep.

Very pricy, given the very small size of the room and the upkeep of the hotel. For example, dirty carpet, very weak sound proof of the rooms, \"rough\" sheets on the bed, & etc. However, the location is quite convenient. In general, I would not stay at this hotel again if possible in the future.

The hotel was no more than I expected for the money I paid. The room was quite good, though the carpets were stained, and the lift had a decor all of its own with its carpeted walls !
But for what I wanted, it was suitable, we were close to the Old Town, about a 10 minute walk, and close to the Metro to get us to and fro the Messr, which was my prime reason for visiting.
Would not really be the place I would want to take my wife, but for business it was adequate.

Directly across the road from the train station (hbf). The hotel signage isnt as elaborate as others so don't fret, it's there. The only fault if i had to be picky was there were no restrooms in the lobby, just be warned. The staff were happy and helpful

A surprisingly great choice. It had new owners (3 months) and there was a bit of disorder on my arrival, but they were friendly and appologetic and had me sorted in an extra 5 minutes. This Hotel was recenly pained and carpeted on the inside, and my room was very modern and comfortable. I liked the large sun Deck that overlooked the quiet inner court of surrounding buildings. Also the breakfast of meats, cheeses, coffee, juice, yougourt plus breads and cereals was a great bargain - unmatched in town for just 4 euro - give it a try. All in all I was pleasantly surprised by this choice and it is better then a 2 star - enjoy.

Ich bin rundum zufrieden und war daher auch nicht das erste Mal dort. Preis-leistungsmäßig findet man kaum etwas besseres in Düsseldorf. Dazu ist die Rezeption fast rund um die Uhr besetzt. Der Portier ist wirklich sehr herzlich und begrüßt mich nun mittlerweise auch per Handschlag. Das Zimmer war recht modern und auch die Dusche war echt gut. Ich komme weiterhin gerne.

Sehr laut und an der Rezeption wird man sehr unverschämt behandelt, ich musste mein geparktes Auto holen und danach den Schlüssel bringen damit ich noch zum Auto komme, wurde daraufhin dumm angemacht das es zu lange gedauert hat? Wobei man 10 min knapp zum Auto laufen muss und plus den Verkehr berechnen sollte, bei Ankunft ebenso ein Verhalten von einer anderen Dame an der Rezeption saß am Essen und hat mich und meine Freundin 10 min warten lassen zum einchecken bis sie merkte es kamen nochmal Leute rein zum einchecken. Das Zimmer war okay für 2 Tage, sah eher aus wie ein Hinterhof Eingang wo ab und an mal betrunkene Leute saßen. Die Lage war top alles fusläufig erreichbar

The value/price ration was not very good. This was in a period of a major fair in the city, so all hotels cranked their prices up to very high levels. The room was very small, there was no breakfast available. The room was clean when I arrived, but daily cleaning was sketchy: used glasses and cups were not cleaned and used teabags not replenished.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Der Empfangsbereich schreckt sehr ab und das Personal wirkte etwas unsicher. Haben mit gemischten Gefühlen das Zimmer aufgesucht und waren positiv überrascht. Mit meiner freundin haben wir für Silvester übernachtet,die waren sehr sauber aber klein auch ein Schrank fehlte nur eine Stange für ca.8 Kleiderbügel am Fenster.für diese Nacht war es auch sehr ruhig auf 7te Etage.wir haben super geschlafen,das Bett sauber und gemütlich.

Trotz ausgeschalteter Heizung war das Zimmer zu warm. An ein schlafen bei geöffnetem Fenster war wegen des Straßenlärms nicht zu denken. Die Matratzen waren viel zu weich.

Leider war mein Zimmer nicht annähernd, wie auf den Fotos. Mein Zimmer war alt und nicht besonders sauber. Es roch alles muffig. Der Teppich war kaputt und schmutzig, übrigens auch in den Fluren und im Treppenhaus, sah alles sehr schmuddelig aus und besonders der Teppich. Im Badezimmer waren Armeisen. Das Hotel hat auch keine Bar oder sonstiges, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen ist. Was mich sehr gestört hat, war die Hellhörigkeit. Rechts und links von meinem Zimmer konnte ich alles hören, jedes Telefonat und selbst die Klogänge. Die Türen fallen sehr laut ins Schloss. Der Empfangsbereich

Beim Check Out saß an der 24-Stunden Rezeption keiner, weshalb man auf den Schlüssel der Garage warten musste. Es gab nur einen Schlüssel für das Parkhaus, weshalb man diesen immer wieder zurückbringen musste. Auch da gibt es Verbesserungspotential.

中央駅から徒歩10分もかからず、また、ケーニヒスアレーなど中心部までも徒歩10分もかからないので、アクセスはいいと思います。ホテル周辺も治安は悪くなく、大型スーパーやマクドナルドなどがあり飲食には困りません。部屋はブラウン管テレビが置いてあるだけで、そのテレビもつきませんでした。ドライヤーはついているとのことでしたがついておらず、バスマットもなくタオルが2枚あっただけでした。

Placeringen var super. Men renligheden var ikke i top, billederne fra annoncen og i virkeligheden var meget langt fra hinanden. Gammelt slidt, tæpperlister var faldet af, røgalarmen lå i skabet uden batteri i. Men sengen var ren og redt. Ellers kan jeg ikke sige noget godt om det.
