Check in was great. They allowed us to store our luggage early so we could return our rental, then let us check in early. Breakfast was good but was not part of our package so we had to pay separately which was quite expensive for a breakfast. We only did the one morning for breakfast and the next 2 mornings walked to a local bakery for pastries and coffee and saved ourselves a bunch of money. On our second day our toilet stopped working and someone came right away and played around with it but didn’t seem to know what he was doing and blamed it on low water pressure, when he was leaving he said it might work. Our entire stay our room was extremely cold, we figured we didn’t understand the temperature control system in the room so asked the front desk. They stated they control the temperature and would make adjustments from there end. The room continued to be extremely cold for the remainder of our stay.

The hotel was a lovely little find in a safe, quiet area of Dusseldorf. Easy walking (5 minutes) into the centre of the town. The room was good. A fridge, safe, coffee machine and kettle in the room. Complimentary bottle of water every day.
In terms of issues with the room - the first would be the bed and pillows. This may be a personal issue however the mattress was uncomfortable and the pillows were very firm which did not give you any option to change for a softer pillow!
The kettle was adequate for usage however there was no power outlet near to the kettle nor was the cable long enough to allow you to use the power outlet for the coffee machine. The kettle had to be placed on the floor next to the bed to use it! It just felt silly.
We were only there for 3 days however if staying longer there was very limited room to store clothing.
Reception - the person who checked us in on arrival was fine but struggled to find a Map of the local area, struggled to find the hotel on the map once found and could not tell us how to purchase tickets for a tram. All very basic and something any traveller would need. Other than checking in we had no need to deal with Reception however upon entering/leaving the hotel there was never a warm smile or greeting and always felt like someone was struggling to make you feel welcome.
Breakfast - no-one greets you or advises as to whether you should sit at a certain table or whether they will bring coffee etc. It needs a clear message!

The rooms and location were great. We were late checking in and the Concierge was very understanding and accommodated are request to have two rooms next to each other so the kids weren’t separated from us. The best part though was the bartender that made the best craft cocktails and even ordered a pizza for us. I would absolutely stay here again!

The room: we stay in a lot of hotels (between 80-120 nights every year) so we have a lot to compare with. We consider the room to be 5* level, a very comfortable bed, nicely designed, lovely shower and Toto toilet and AC that works well (we find this very important). We had a room at the back so it was also very quiet. To be short: we absolutely loved the room! Unfortunately the coffee (2 nespresso cups when we arrived: one normal and 1 decaf.) wasn't refilled, also the 1 water bottle that was there on arrival wasn't replenished after the first night...?
Hotel design: we loved it, we are a bit of design freaks ourselves so it was nice to see many beautiful features, lovely furniture, photos etc. Fascinating to see how everything was put together.
Hotel location: perfect for tourists with the main shopping area, train station and Altstadt within easy reach. Tram stop in front of the hotel.

Hübsches Hotel mit tollen Panorama-Fenstern mit Blick auf etwas Stadtgrün. Nebenan ist auch ein schöner Park. Zimmer sind schick renoviert, Bad ist gut und allgemein ist alles gut durchdacht. Zwei Schwachpunkte, die mir einfallen: Wasserdruck war etwas niedrig in der Dusche und wir mussten ziemlich lang am Empfang warten, um empfangen zu werden. Aber sonst netter Service. Würde wieder kommen!

Nettes kleine Hotel im Herzen Düsseldorfs. Perfekt für eine. oder zwei Übernachtungen. Die. Zimmer sind sauber. Mir fehlte jedoch ein Schrank oder eine Kommode zum Ablegen der Sachen im Zimmer. Frühstück war gut und abwechslungsreich. P.S. der im Hotel versprühte Raumduft war nicht meins. Ansonsten hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

This is a wonderful and tastefully decorated little hotel. The room, and bathroom, was very clean with a great bed. The aircondition worked fantastic. Will definitively stay there the next time im in Düsseldorf.
