Düsseldorf is NOT a City in Germany to visit, unless you need to go for working or in business trip. The Steigenberger hotel is very well located, walking distance to shopping and Rhein promenade, restaurants and so. Beautifull location.

Thank you to the staff of this hotel. They provide us with replacement rooms upon our requests. Upon our arrival, the first room had towels on the floor beside the bed snd the bed sheet had stains on it. The second room had urine odor. The third room was a remodeled and an upgraded room. The hotel is in a nice area close to shopping areas. Breakfast was great. Thanks again.

My weekend stay at Steinberger Icon Parkhotel was perfect! It’s a beautiful hotel. This is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a luxurious place to unwind after a day of hitting the shops! You are in the perfect location to partake in high-end shopping (it’s so good) and there is also a beautiful park to walk if you’re looking for some nature. You’re also right next to old town if you want to see their night life. The subway is right around the corner and it got me to the Mitsubishi Electric Halle for a concert with no problem. The hotel staff is amazing and Georgia was so helpful during my stay. The wait staff at Jones were courteous, professional and made amazing suggestions each time I had a meal there. The food is so delicious, the wine is great and you must have the dessert pastries, you will not be disappointed! Also a great place to stop in for some coffee. My room was also fantastic. The bed was comfortable and I loved the pillows Don’t miss out on the pillow menu like I did (you can buy them)! The room felt more like an apartment than a hotel room and I didn’t even have a suite. It was spacious, had the perfect closet and the bathroom was really nice. The turn down service and chocolates every night (and the macaroons that one day) were much appreciated! The workout and sauna facility is also top notch. I left feeling pampered and refreshed! You won’t be disappointed. Book your stay and enjoy!

We got “the upgrade” but room we got was SO small that we could not even fit our two suitcases in there and we could even open them properly.
Also, the room was facing a flat wall which was not nice at all.
This was not what we are used to get from Expedia partner hotels.

Luckily we stayed one night only.

If you are considering another hotel - choose that one.
İf you stay at this hotel you will be made a nervous wreck. There is no understanding of guest relations at all.
The Reception staff is not interested in making the guest feel welcomed.
Their attitude is \"You should be happy we accepted you to stay at this hotel.
There is not one good thing about this hotel.
Houskeeping is terrible. We stayed at this hotel 4 nights and the glasses and cups were never replaced.
Room service never answers the phone.
Drinks in the mini bar are never refilled.
I am a VIP by Expedia and I checked in with a Platinum Amex but nevertheless they didnt want to give me an upgrade although they offered it for an extra charge of 60.00Euros a night.
After some discussions they gave the upgrade without the extra charge. But everytime we needed to correspond with the hotel staff it was very unpleasant.
The whole staff needs to take lessons in guest relations immediately. They must be made aware that this is a hospitality sector - not a correctional facility.

Freezing hotel at a freezing winter time

Hotel was close to Christmas Market - excellent location. However, appliances (coffee machine) was faulty - telephone not functioning (cable capped). The room could only be heated to 19C - ice cold at night! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

The stay was great, it exceeded my expectations. Staff were great and professional and courteous. Special thanks to Mr Sadawi ( I hope that’s his correct name) who great and attended to all guests in breakfast room. Breakfast was really good
With many choices to guests tastes.

Truly enjoyed my stay, location is great and close to many shopping centers and restaurants.

Great location but lacking luxury service

A very nice hotel and in a great location. But the front desk service was extremely slow and would never answer the phone when I called. I understand they were busy around checkout time but someone should answer after several calls and I should not have had to go the desk and then wait 25 minutes to be able to speak to them. Also the bar area is extremely small and there was no where to sit and enjoy a tea or a cocktail because half the tables were reserved but empty. This hotel does not offer the service or amenities of a luxury hotel.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Steigenberger Hotel. The reception staff was very engaged and pleasant as well as the breakfast buffet staff. Speaking of breakfast, save room for one of the best hotel buffets I have ever seen. An amazing array of edible goodies and drinkable refreshments were served. The location was outstanding for cultural events (opera and classical) as well as shopping. I would say that this hotel is a 4 star plus, but lacking a pool. Property is lovely in a fine old school way, staff is lovely . I’ve been going to Düsseldorf twice a year for 11 years, it’s the best hotel in Düsseldorf. The only negative is the restaurants are far too expensive.

Lovely hotel

The room was very big, the hotel have put a lot of thought into the small details. The room had a lot of chsaacter, it was not just another bland room. I ordered room service and the food was very good. The minibar was adequately stocked up. A Nespresso was provided in the room. I could not have asked for more. Hotel is located in the centre of town. Will stay again if I come back to Düsseldorf.
