This was our second time we stayed here during our road trip. The room was noticeably smaller with next to no room to walk around bed (room 446), bathroom was much simpler and old-fashioned than the previous one (top floor) with little space for our toiletries. TV didn't work but there was no one to address it with as reception closes around 10pm. Breakfast was poorer than the first time, no pastries, worse sausages and less bread/rolls to choose from. We parked in the underground car park again, 2min walk away, £25 for 24hrs, shame there is no discount for hotel guests.

Lovely hotel not far from the old town. Set in quiet streets it is peaceful and almost doesn't look like a hotel. Easy check in and spacious room.

Even though I stayed for 1 night, it was still a pleasant experience. After a 10 hour flight it was perfect. Check-in was fast and easy, our room was clean, a lot of cafes and restaurants in walking distance. I would stay there again. The only downside I can think of was the AC wasn’t strong, but it did eventually cool the room down.

What a gem!
So good we booked for our return trip. What a gem, small boutique hotel with great decor and so modern. Rooms were very clean and air conditioned. 5 min walk to nearby old town and water front.

A fantastic little hotel. beautifully renovated. I was bicycle touring and they let me store my bike in the courtyard at check-in. Excellent breakfast buffet, with kind and attentive staff. One young woman didn’t know what a cortado was, so she looked it up and made a good one. Next time I am in Düsseldorf I will be staying here.

Nice choice for city heart stay
The hotel location is quite good, near the residential area and 2 minutes to a park. Also it's easy to move around, the old town and river side is 10 minutes on foot and the 4 stops by Tram to the train station. Actually Düsseldorf is not that big or crowded and the transportation here is easy for everywhere.
The hotel has a good service attention and people here is very simpatique.
Only that the room is quite small. In my reservation the description is with a twin bed but the bed is more like a sofa bed.

The location is very good, in a quiet residential district about 10 minutes walk across a park from the old town. The 707 tram at the end of the street goes via one of the main shopping streets to the main station. My single room was smallish but well designed and I had no complaints. Staff are friendly. The breakfast is excellent.

I had a great experience. Location is perfect, just 2 mins walk from the tram station that's 4 stops to the dusseldorf central station. Quiet neighborhood, I'm a light sleeper and didn't hear anything throughout the night. Breakfast is good except eggs are almost raw, not everyone likes that. Check in and check out was fast and easy and staff is nice. Wifi is fast, all TV stations are in German though and the shower for the single room was tiny.

A really top level 3 star hotel. So not flashy but good, clean, fabulous breakfast, nice bar, very helpful staff. I was in one of the three apartment rooms (B) and it was so lovely and quiet with a big window overlooking gardens. Great free wifi. Perfect for a 2 day quick business trip - lovely quiet location but very near to the park and old city (10-15 min walk) and the Rheinton Wine bar next door is also fabulous!

This hotel has the best breakfast of any hotel we've stayed at EVER! The statement listed the price as 5 Euros per person (although it was included within the per night price). Variety, quality, all excellent...worth MUCH more than 5 Euros.

Hotel staff are very friendly, My room is very big and bright with lots of windows. The bathroom is big as well except that the show is too small for me, I keep hitting the wall when I took shower. I wish it's a bigger shower will make everything perfect. I go to Duesseldorf twice a year for meeting. I really like this hotel location. I asked the staff when I checked out if all the rooms are with the same shower size they said yes, guess I won't book here again if the shower are the same size because it's really hard to take shower in such a small shower room.

Great location on a quiet street that is a short walk from Old town and the major art museums. This IS a boutique hotel experience. The building is old but the interior is modern and clean. Staff were helpful and accommodating. The room is compact with an economical use of space but the bed was big and comfy. Rates were very reasonable but can fluctuate as Düsseldorf has a lot of business conferences.

Very useful hotel with a good condition room, huge bathroom in quiet area. My room was a little dark (room 10 on the ground floor), and at times I had smoke from the garden coming in the room (no air conn) so not perfect but for the money this was a minor detail. Breakfast was fine, with a good seating area to stay after check out and use the wifi. Walking into the Altstadt is a little further than I had expected as you need to cut through the park and shopping district before you get to the restaurant/bar area but you can always get a tram quite easily.

Perfect if you only need to crash for a night or two - otherwise Berial is too small. The rooms are tiny compared to North American standards and I had to step across my suitcases on the floor because there was no room to open them up elsewhere. This hotel has a feel slightly reminiscent of a nice clean hostel. Good for single business person without much luggage.

From the outside, this is an ugly looking hotel situated on a street with surrounding streets & no views. The room was comfortable with a large bed, but other than that, not much more. There is no restaurant, so a much needed 10 minute walk to the nearest eatery is required. There is a bar, but this is served by the same people at reception, so expect a wait. Breakfast was OK, well the coffee was hot, gut just standard coffee on offer. Location was the only reason I chose this hotel, as only a 10 minute or so walk to Dusseldorf Old Town & of course Alstadt (the longest bar in the world). There is no onsite parking either & you need to park in a below ground car park around 200m away & cost €12 per night. I will need to stay in this area again, but next time I hope to find somewhere else to lay my head

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable & of a decent size. Its location, which would appear a little further away from the centres tourist destinations is in fact very close & a short walk across the park will bring you to a brewery & a number of good bars / restaurants & the river side. We kregen een mooie grote kamer op de vierde verdieping met voldoende (extra) ruimte voor de hond. De badkamer stelde niet veel voor en het bed lag ook niet super, maar voor twee nachtjes prima. De lift is erg smal en maar geschikt voor twee personen. Ontbijt gevarieerd en meer dan voldoende. Locatie super, een minuut of tien wandelen naar de binnenstad.

Auf den mir angezeigt Einzelzimmerbildern war das Bad immer ein getrenntes Zimmer. Bei mir war jedoch alles in einem Raum (sprich WC, Dusche und Bett). Ich persönlich bin kein Fan davon und hätte ich das im voraus gewusst, hätte ich wahrscheinlich ein anderes Zimmer/Hotel gebucht.
Der Aufzug ist etwas klein und nur für zwei Personen zugelassen. Jedoch hatte ich als einzelne Person mit Rucksack das Gefühl das niemand mehr mitfahren hätte können.
