We were in the room for only ten minutes. The sent was choking my wife, she had to go outside for fresh air. We couldn’t stay there. They would not refund any money.
We ended up across town at the Niu Hotel which not far from the main train station. It was about the same cost and it was beautiful.

The staff is nice. The room is okay. It was a family room : one large bed, and one bunk bed … The room is large enough to contain four normal single beds, or one large and two singles, so why a bunk bed instead, strange. No key to close the bathroom, and the floor of the bathroom is extremely slipery. Nice shower, but slipery, we had to put a towel in order to reduce the sliperyness. The surroundings are ok, with two nearby REWE, and some restaurants.

Our room was not available so they took our none anyway and gave us a room “not far away.” It was impossible to find and we were instructed to park in a parking garage that reeked of Urine. I don’t even know the name is where I am staying. The trim is freezing. The balcony does not lock.

I had booked to stay but when I arrived, there was no-one on reception. I waited for over 30 minutes and then I left and stayed somewhere else. It was only AFTER I was at the other place that I received an email from the hotel with information on regarding my room. By this stage, it was too late. As I was travelling for 5 hours before arriving at Dusseldorf I was really very upset with the whole fiasco.

Room itself was nice. Clean, comfortable bed, giant windows overlooking the train station. Very convenient location, walking distance to Altstadt and right outside Zoo station. There is an also really close, but no fridge or microwave to use to cook anything you buy so you have to get creative or only eat out.
We didn’t have tea or coffee maker in our room as advertised.
The biggest problem that made this stay not good was how close the trains are. There is no air conditioning in this property, and as we were on the 4th floor and there was a heat wave it was unbearable hot with the windows shut. So we had to keep them open which wouldn’t have been a big deal, except those trains are LOUD and they run ALL NIGHT. We got no sleep while here. Problem could be solved by installing air conditioner, having a fan in each room, or at least providing ear plugs to the guests. It was ridiculous how loud those trains were and it completely ruined an otherwise fine stay.

My pet hate about hotels is when they take photos of the beat / largest room, then when you arrive give you a tiny one you weren't expecting. The photos taken at this hotel do not reflect the rooms properly.

On arrived the credit card machine was not working. The lighting in the room wasn't working. There was no toilet paper. There was no shower gel or shampoo.

The hotel did fix all of the above problems, but they shouldn't have occurred in the first place.

Also there are homeless people sleeping in reception over night which doesn't give you a safe feeling.

On the plus side it's 2 minute walk to the train station or underground.

Fine for short stay

Close to the train station so convenient to get to the airport. Close to trams stops as well so can get to several locations in Dusseldorf. Several eatries within walking distance as well as 2 Rewe supermarkets.
Room was okay and bed comfortable. bathroom was clean but shower curtain was a bit dirty and there is no heating.

When we got to the Berolina House at 4pm (jet lagged and wanting a shower and a nap after flying 23 hours from New Zealand) we were super disappointed when told that our room was not ready. Something about \"it's been so busy...\" The gal working the desk took us to our room anyways (?) where nothing had been done from the last guests. We stood around while the housekeeper began stripping beds- super awkward as there was nowhere to sit. BUT, I must say, that manager Boris came and let us know he would make it right and offered us another room that was ready for us to move right in. Because it was smaller than we had reserved, he cut us a great deal and we were so appreciative of his graciousness. The room we had was small (especially with our suitcases on the floor) but we made it work. Corners of the room could be cleaned better (carpet and bathroom). Bathroom is quite dim and doesn't have counter space. Didn't spend much time in the neighborhood so cant comment on that. Though our stay began unfortunately, the management turned it around. :)

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Berolina Haus (Dusseldorf) war schrecklich. Das Zimmer war klein, das Badezimmer war sehr eng, es war verstopft und das Wasser floss nicht ab. Außerdem war die Toilette locker. Das Personal war sehr unaufmerksam. Nach einer unangenehmen Erfahrung beim Check-in musste ich das Hotel verlassen und in eine andere Unterkunft gehen. Das Schlimmste war, dass sie mir das Geld für den Aufenthalt nicht zurückerstatten wollten.

Die Zimmer waren halbwegs sauber, es standen sogar Blumen auf dem Schreibtisch. Aber im Bad waren fast alle Bodenfliesen gerissen, Türschlösser waren mehr oder weniger notdürftig zusammengeschraubt, teilweise waren die Türen und Wände beschädigt (als wenn jemand rein getreten oder reingeboxt hätte). Die Rezeptionistin war Mega nett, aber noch mal würden wir nicht hingehen.

In der Nähe sind Supermärkte und kleinere Geschäfte. Für mich nur eine günstige Möglichkeit gewesen, mal in der Nähe zur Arbeit zu übernachten, wenn es ein Zimmer für weniger als 50€ gab. Ansonsten ist die Einrichtung spartanisch und billig. Sicher wird versucht, es nett zu machen, aber es nützt nicht, wenn das Blumenwasser schon bräunlich wird. Überall an den Wänden und Möbeln sind Macken und schmutzige Flecken. Jedes Zimmer, das ich hatte, hatte andere Probleme. In einem ging die Heizung nicht, in dem anderen ging sie nicht aus. Bei einem hatte ich das Fenster fast in der Hand und musste herausfinden, wie ich es schaffe, dass es zu bleibt. Die Betten sind viel zu weich. Es ist zur Straße hin sehr laut, zusätzlich fahren die Bahnen

Das nette Personal und die gute Erreichbarkeit mit der S-Bahn zum Flughafen waren leider das einzig Positive an dieser Unterkunft. Ich habe bei den Bewertungen und dem Preis nicht viel erwartet, aber Leute!!! Klebrige Flecken auf dem \"Nachttisch\", Müll neben dem Mülleimer, völlig verstaubte Heizkörper und eine Steckerleiste bei der man vor lauter Staub die Farbe nicht erkennen kann? Nein, wirklich nicht in Ordnung! Am schlimmsten war jedoch der Geruch, es roch nach Keller und Schimmel, aus dem Grund war wahrscheinlich auch das Fenster bei meiner Ankunft trotz kalter Temperaturen geöffnet. Aufs Duschen habe ich verzichtet, niemals hätte ich den Duschvorhang berühren können. Es war wirklich kein schöner Aufenthalt.

Aldi ist Nähe, kann Mann mit füß gehen von Düsseldorf Zoo Haltestelle. Raum Fläche ist klein. Ein Doppelzimmer wenn kostet insgesamt unter 40 Euro dann passt.Stadt Steuer ist teuer.

Nach einem freundlichen Empfang sind wir mit eine Flasche Wasser auf das Zimmer gegangen. Hier zeigte sich ein sehr verlebtes Zimmer. Mit mangelnden Sichtschutz und Schlafschutz am Fenster. Einem Wasserkocher ohne Taschen Gläser. Eine sehr weiche Matratze und ein abgenutzter Schrank. Das Zimmer war nicht zu Straße allerdings waren die Geräusche von Mitbewohnern stark zu hören. Die Zimmertür schloss nicht richtig und die Schiebetür im Bad war sehr schwer gängig. Leider wurde unser Zimmer trotz zwei Nächte nicht gereinigt und auch keine neuen Handtücher gestellt. Das Hotel wirkte verweist nachts wurde die Haupttür nicht richtig geschlossen bzw. Geöffnet vor gefunden. Außer der Lage und Preis eine Nicht gute Erfahrung.

Buona soluzione qualitá/prezzo a Dusseldorf

Hotel situato in una posizione strategica a Dusseldorf, vicino a stazione bus, tram e treno.
La stanza era pulita anche se purtroppo c´era un odore di fumo probabilmente di qualche fumatore che aveva alloggiato prima.
Check in possibile solo dopo le 14. Check-out comodo.

Waren für 3 Nächte da. Ist dafür ok, da wir eh tagsüber unterwegs waren.
Leider hört man sehr gut wenn die anderen Gäste sich im Haus unterhalten. Zudem ist man halt gleich in der nächsten Nähe der Bahn. In der letzten Nacht hat der Brandalarm einen Fehler angegeben. Hat die ganze Nacht gepiept. Keiner war zu erreichen gemäss Zimmernachbar.

It was the worst place I have ever seen. It was filthy. There were marks on the linen. The hallway lights were not working. There was no parking for my car, and the receptiinist had a real don't care attitude. The overall look of the place was just the look of degration. Not even to talk about the bathroom and shower. I didn't stay there. I git into my car and went to search for a branded name hotel....so I wasted so much money... I would never jn my life suggest this hell hole to anyone!!!!

Den Kosten (sehr günstig) entsprechend eine gute Unterkunft ohne weitere Ansprüche unsererseits. Alles hat gepasst, Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war absolut OK. Ein nächtlicher Check-In war durch einen Schlüsseltresor problemlos möglich.
Lediglich war leider die Brausekopfhalterung der Dusche abgebrochen. Dies hätte sehr gern instandgesetzt sein können.

Die Dame am Empfang war ganz nett , allerdings das Zimmer im 2.Stock schrecklich, er stank nach Schimmel /Schimmelentferner, man musste das Fenster geöffnet lassen um nicht zu ersticken . Wenn man das Fenster offen ließ war es sehr laut Wegs dem Verkehr und der Bahnschienen . Eine Klimaanlage wäre wünschenswert . Die Sanitäranlagen waren mäsig sauber ,aber es gab Duschgel und Shampoo in einem Spender wenn man keins dabei hatte . Der Teppichboden war sehr verschmutzt. Alles in allem nicht besonders . Kein 2. Mal .

Wir waren nur für einen Tag in der Unterkunft, sprich einen Tag vor unserem Flug, daher haben wir hier nur geschlafen.
Negativ: Sehr laut, Wände scheinen aus Papier zu sein, da direkt daneben Bahn Gleise verlaufen und Züge fuhren, war es dementsprechend sehr laut (ICE, SBahn etc.) , leider kein Fahrstuhl.

Positiv: Nah an der S-Bahn, einchecken war auch spät am Abend möglich über einen Schlüssel Tresor.

Im Großen und Ganzen hat es seine Zweck für uns erfüllt, eine bleibe über Nacht zu haben, um dann früh an den Flughafen zu fahren mit der S-Bahn

Fehlende Ruhe!

Die Rezeption war nicht besetzt. Etliche Leute klingelten an der Tür die ganze Nacht über, was im ganzen Haus hörbar war. Wenn nicht die angrenzende Bahn einem mit halbstündlichen Gedonner den Schlaf raubte, dann mit Sicherheit laute Gäste, die die ganze Nacht im hellhörigem Haus stritten.

Das Gebäude von aussen sieht sehr schön aus, aber leider sah es nicht von innen so aus. Die bilder von den Räumen sehen nicht wie abgebildet aus. Unser Familienraum sah ok aus. Das Elternbett war ok leider kann ich es nicht über die kinderbetten das selbe sagen. Ich habe gedacht das es jeden Augenblick zusammen brechen wird. Das quietschen hat uns wahnsinnig gemacht. Die Lautstärke war nicht normal. Man kann nicht mehr wie eine Nacht dort schlafen, dies gilt aber für Familien. Natürlich ist es meine Meinung. Die Dame am Empfang war Nett gewesen, besser wäre es aber wenn Kunden da sind dann bitte kurz keine Privaten gespräche führen am Telefon. Für Singles ist es ok dort.

The floor was not clean. Carpet was damp/wet. Poor matrasses. No elivator for your bags. You may not find a parking spot. The shower was very bad!

Det var positivt at personalet ga oss god informasjon ved sen innsjekk. Nøkkel ble lagt ut i kodeboks. Rommet var ok størrelse for en natt. Renhold var ikke bra. Toalettet var fullt av vaskemiddel som ikke var vasket, og veggene hadde brune skitne flekker. Gulvet på badet var klissete. Når vi skulle sove klødde vi over hele kroppen, det føltes ut som noe krøp på oss.
