The hotel is quite luxurious. It is exclusive to the guests. That is, others are not allowed in unless accompanied by a guest. It is strange that beverages are not allowed in the beautiful lobby area with the fireplace. There is also a separate very large living room with complementary snacks and beverages. However, alcoholic beverages are not allowed even if they are brought from the upstairs bar. They do serve Prosecco on request in this area. The breakfast buffet has a large variety of foods and is very good. The à la carte items on the breakfast menu were also very nice. We had drinks in the bar. The cocktails are very good. They have quite a few very interesting ones.

Terrific hotel! My daughter and I have stayed here several times and would never consider staying elsewhere when in Dusseldorf. The amenities are top notch-from the beautiful living room to the well appointed rooms stocked with complementary drinks and snacks to the gorgeous pool and excellent fitness center. The personal assistant staff is first rate, patiently answering a myriad of questions about train schedules and restaurant recommendations.

This hotel was pure luxury. The staff went above and beyond. The food service was excellent as was the bar. The location was extremely good for shopping sightseeing. It was just a short walk to the river. Unfortunately our view could’ve been fabulous. looked onto a construction site of a company who had gone bankrupt and it was in process, but not going anywhere.

This is a truly spectacular property and the staff are phenomenal. The attention to detail is evident in everything from the layout of the hotel, the spaciousness of the rooms, the exclusive feel one gets in every space to event the details of how the marble in the lobby leads into the the same marble in the elevators. Not a single door knob or faucet or parquet flooring creaked or was even remotely showing any signs of wear and tear. They’ve got a great selection of restaurants, and the proximity to the best shopping area in Düsseldorf will certainly help you burn a hole in your pocket. All that aside, I would not stay anywhere else in Düsseldorf. This is a high end, high class, property and you feel from the moment you set foot through its revolving doors.

The Breidenbacher Hof hotel in downtown Dusseldorf is hands down one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms and large \"guests only\" living room are lovely, it is in walking distance of museums, shopping, historical buildings and across the street from the tram station. But the best part of the hotel is the staff. Ever accommodating, they work tirelessly to ensure that your stay is a pleasant one. Katrin and Lasse are delightful and always helpful-addressing my myriad questions politely and without even a hint of exasperation!

This hotel is one of the finest in Dusseldorf. Very convenient location. The rooms were very spacious, quiet, clean, comfortable. THEY are missing USB for easier smart phones connection. Breakfast was good; however, extremely expensive for what it was offered daily. ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful, very outstanding thanks TO ALL.
I was very disappointed with the reservation and front desk manager. We lost over $5,000 because I booked several rooms in advance, one of the employees had an accident in the USA a few days before the travel, the hotel didn't help giving any credit even when after an agent from Expedia called to explain. That was a lot of money when we paid over $40,000 for all the rooms.

I liked every thing about this hotel. I liked the idea of the living room as a place to relax at for all guests. Staff are all supportive and friendly. Their is one small incident that bothered me a little which is regarding the reservation at the restaurant where i went to without reservation because i was told to go as i am a hotel guest but after i sat down at the table waiting to be served the menu, unfortunately a lady who is working helping guest to dining asked me to move to another table in a manner that I didn’t like. She was followed by a family whom she helped set on that table, i left the restaurant and never came back and instead ordered room service which was provided by a very nice Lady calls Saadah which in my language means happiness. But over all i loved the hotel and will certainly come back when i am in town.

Stayed at the hotel as a stopover on our way home to Amsterdam. Was taken back by how beautiful, clean, comfy and welcoming the hotel was. After getting to our room we immediately commented on how we need to come back and stay for longer. Not to mention, the staff genuinely was nice to our two big dogs, not pretending like they cared. We believed they truly did. 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone in Dusseldorf. Wow. We'll be back.

We were treated like Royalty from the moment we arrived to check out. Luggage taken straight up to our room & a full guided tour of their amenities explained.
Fresh laundry/toiletries/mini bar available on a daily basis. Shannon was most helpful with City map & getting us to places of interest. We most certainly will be back and hopefully for a longer stay that Mon-Fri.

Amazing location, amazing service and a great place to stay. Very centrally located hotel and in this time of year with all the Christmas markets around an ideal location. The staff is extremely friendly. The only awkward feeling we had was that on our floor there was a 24/7 security guard probably related to a high profile guest in the Royal suite. Security personnel around doesn't always make you feel safer.
The only negative comment to make was that all the stores and Christmas markets in Dusseldorf were closed on Sunday, but the hotel can not be blamed for that😁😁

The hotel was magnificent. The common areas were beautifully furnished and each detail was obviously very deliberate. The rooms were pristine and spacious. The highlight of the hotel is it's staff. Each staff member greets you with a smile and makes you really feel at home. A bartender named Savvas, in particular, exemplified professionalism while encapsulating an enduring quality that made him feel like a long time friend. So if you stay here, make sure to grab a drink and and get ready to hear some incredible stories from your sure to be new friend Savvas. 5/5.

I love this hotel! From the moment we drove up, the valet made us feel welcome and took the burden of the day's drive off our shoulders. We exited our car and the rest was in the hands of the more than capable hotel staff. The hotel is gorgeous. The reception desk was friendly and gave us suggestions of things to do and places to visit. A huge \"living room\" behind a door with key access awaited for relaxation and coffee/tea/reading purposes and concierge services. Our room was super comfortable, beautiful and technologically fun! When we left, we wished we were staying another night or two. We were given bottles of water for the trip ahead. I want to return NOW!!!
