The staff here were the best. Each staff member we spoke with helped us storing our bags, finding a place to eat and getting the best rate for transportation. Our room was comfortable and clean. A little tight of a squeeze some mornings but not a big deal. Very quiet inside the hotel and in the area. The bus line is right outside the door and walkable to many places. Please try the Italian restaurant next to the gelato shop and pharmacy. The food is excellent and they have a menu in English!

Did not disappoint.

Friendly staff, enjoyed breakfast, comfortable and clean room. Location has all the essentials around it also. 1 hour walk to the airport in fact or 721 bus is door to door also.

Lovely hotel.

Lovely hotel. We booked quite last minute but it’s great value for money and the staff are all super friendly. We had our toddler with us and she loved it. Comfy beds, great selection at breakfast and bus stops right outside.

A lovely, spacious room with very helpful staff. I left my keys behind and they alerted me to it by the time I had reached the airport and posted them back out to me.

The breakfast was tasty, if maybe a little expensive for what it was. The pizza place next door was excellent and very cheap. Transport to/from the airport couldn't have been easier and the city centre was within walking distance.

A basic hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff on check in and the polar opposite on check out. No shower gel in dispenser day 1, note made at reception, still no shower gel day 2. If all you need is a place to sleep its fine and I hope you get the checkin staff who were great

My husband and I stayed here for a week and it was absolutely wonderful. The beds were comfy and always made by the time we came back in the evening, our fridge was stocked with beverages that were free of charge, and in general the hotel was easily accessible. They are two bus stops nearby allowing us to easily get around the city. This was a great stay and I recommend it to anyone traveling to Düsseldorf.

The place is small but clean. The front desk was helpful enough to print us some documents. Our room was small. It was a struggle to move around with 2 big luggages 2 small ones. The bathroom is small as well most esp the shower area. However, we only stayed for 1 night so it was OK. There was also this noise we dont know where it was coming from- but seems like bucket of water kept on falling every 20 mins at night. Probably the rain, but it was rather loud. We were here for 2021 Medica Conference & my husband’s company had another hotel booked for us but we arrived a day early so we stayed here at Mercure.

Great Hotel

The staff was wonderful! They were so welcoming and helped us find the best food and transportation. The room was nice and big and clean. We had a perfect view of the lovely church nearby. The hotel is super convenient, with a bus stop just a few feet away. Would definitely stay here again. (The only thing for me was the hard bed. But other than that, I enjoyed it.

Good hotel, close to airport and very clean.

Unfortunately when I checked in there was a mix-up and my assigned room hadn’t been cleaned.

Quick response from the girl from check-in and I was assigned another room. This room was on the top floor almost like an attic (small ceiling windows) and was tiny and extremely hot even with air conditioning- I like a cold room so unfortunately I didn’t sleep.

However, the room was very clean and particularly the shower which looked as though it had never been used- so I must commend the hotel on their standards for cleanliness.

If I’d been in another room maybe I would have had a good nights sleep- so if you’re assigned to the fifth floor, ask for a different room!

Perfectly fine hotel for business trip

Friendly and helpful check in experience, fair-sized comfortable room with all the usual facilities (including a free safe) in good order. Cleanliness was exemplary. I will definitely try to book this hotel again the next time I'm in Dusseldorf.

Quite a good hotel

Stayed here on business. The hotel is a typical Mercure. Minimal furniture in rooms, no mini bar. Just comfortable. The bar area serves food and doubles up as the breakfast room. Good selection of food for breakfast hot and cold. Lot's of restaurants in the street. About 30 minutes away from the Altstadt

Paying almost £300 for one night I expected ALOT more.

Room was very small, tiny TV with little English channels. Bathroom was dirty, hairs in shower tray.

Also my toothpaste was cleared away on the first night by the cleaner so Ive had to buy more.

Wont stay again.

Watch your valuables when you stay in this hotel

I put my foreign currencies in a bag and left it in the hotel room when I was out. Then, I found that all my foreign currencies were gone and lost around 300 Euros for this inceident. Next time, if anybody will stay in this hotel, they should watch for their valuables and put them in the safe when they are not in their rooms.

I have travelled a lot around the world, and this is the first time that this kind of incident happens to me. Very disappointed...

The room was relatively clean. There were black stains on the sheets and towels. The bed was firm and quite comfortable, but I was disappointed that there was no fridge in the room. It was a small but cozy room. The breakfast was nice, but unfortunately I found hair in the products a few times. The location is not bad; it’s close to the city, and there’s also a kiosk nearby that stays open until late. Overall, I’d give it a 6/10.”

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.

Uns fehlte ein zweites Handtuch. Auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption gab es den Hinweis, dass sie ausgebucht sind und man nicht sicher sei, ob es weitere Handtücher gibt. Nach etwas Suche fand man dann ein kleines Handtuch. Sowas habe ich in einem Hotel auch noch nicht erlebt.

Das Checkout war eine Katastrophe. Die Dame an der Rezeption war überfordert. Wir hatten es leider etwas eilig weil unser Taxi vor der Tür stand und wir unseren Zug bekommen mussten . Ansonsten hat alles gepasst .

Sehr laut und nicht Kundenorientiert

Sauberes Zimmer, welches für eine Nacht OK wäre - wenn da nicht die sehr dünnen Wände wären. Man hört seine Nachbarn sehr deutlich: Private Gespräche, WC Spülungen, Dusche, Schnarchen und Husten. Des Weiteren hat mich die Rezeption um 22:30 auf dem Festnetz angerufen, weil sie meine 3€ City Tax Bezahlung nicht in ihrem System auffinden konnten… und weckte mich natürlich.

Das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet, sehr gute Matrazen. Wir hatten eine Übernachtung ohne Frühstück und kommen gerne wieder. Einen Parkplatz brauchten wir nicht, daa wir bei unseren Verwandten parken konnten.

Hôtel confortable et relativement récent. Les chambres sont confortables, même si l'hôtel semble maintenant dater un peu. La localisation est correcte, mais l'hôtel est légèrement excentré par rapport au centre (du moins, pour tout faire à pied).
