Comfy and quiet hotel

Hotel is comfortable. Breakfast tends to be very busy with a good range of options. Street parking is very limited and the underground garage has a low ceiling height and is tight. There are bike racks in the underground garage. Apart from the McDonald's around the corner the area is very very quiet with nothing to do. Public transport is a short walk away along a fairly isolated road. Because of this I wouldn't recommend it for female solo travellers on public transport. That's a location issue. The hotel itself is absolutely fine.

Hotel is ideally located with plenty of transport links…..trains, trams and buses. Hotel is of good standard. Room was clean and comfortable and had a kettle, iron & iron board and also air conditioning. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental with scrambled egg, boiled eggs and turkey sausages also on offer. There is also a small bar for refreshments.

The staff were helpful and kind. The room was small but fit our needs. It's not good for three adults, but maybe two adults and young kids. Breakfast was okay. The only issue was the shower drained poorly. I Informed the front desk, but it wasn't taken care of before we left. It was a great experience. The bar in the lobby was a great way to meet people from around the world.

The value of staying at holiday inn was good, however the slight issue of parking is a little bit inconvenient. We arrived with a roof box on the top of the car which made us taller than the maximum height restriction of the car park the hotel has available, so needing to find off street parking wasnt the easiest as parking spaces on the street was limited. If you could find a space it is free but it wasn't always available and the surrounding streets there are some spaces but it doesn't feel overly safe due to graffiti and dark spaces around the hotel area. However the hotel is clean and generally nice, rooms maybe a slight smaller than expected for a family of four but it has all the amenities. Breakfast was included which was a nice addition, with a small selection of hot food available but good coffee facilities.

Massive Shame about Wi-Fi

The rooms stink of stale cigarette smoke, the sink wasn't draining and the Wi-Fi was awful! Location was good and the beds were comfortable and the rooms very clean. The staff didn't understand the problem and clearly didn't care too!

What I don't like:
The room were too small for 4 people and there was a big stains on the bed linen it's looks like blood stains.

The room was spacious, but whenever they clean the room, they do not always clean the carpet, I don't know why!

The room was classy and nicely decorated. Loved the light up headboard with the scenery was a nice touch. The bed was a double with two single mattress which meant I rolled towards the join all through the night which to be honest was my only criticism. The lift was small so it meant that we had to all go to the rooms separately but no hardship. Staff were polite and helpful.

The hotel was good, clean and comfortable. The staff during the day were great. The night staff the one guy I think his name was Mohammed wanted us to pay by cash only at night which was strange! We would ask him to charge the room or we can pay by credit card but he wouldn’t accept it for the drinks or parking. I think he was trying to pocket the money because he didn’t provide receipt for drinks the one time I paid.

Staff were awesome friendly, helpful & professional. Local transportation two to seven minutes walk from the hotel, very clean & covid-19 rules are applied there. Breakfast are little weaker compared to other Holiday Inn Express around the world, it's a quiet and peaceful place for rest to me.

Rooms are really small .no one clean room .under our bed was dirty with food bags from previous guest. Stayes for 6 days when we complained about no room clean during our stay someone came in and put clean towels and leave dirty ones.

I left after breakfast around 09.00 o'clock. When I came back around 17.00 dirty coffee cups were still stand in in the room. I adressed to an employee at the reception, first name M. who was very unfriendly, said he would not understand my German. German is an official language in my country (Luxembourg), and I am pretty sure my German is excellent. The employee made fun of me, when I talked to his colleague (very friendly girl). This employee should work in the kitchen, not to get in touch with guests, and definitively not in an hotel reception.

Fantastic bed. Sleep very well. Very quiet location. The only one disappointment is a car park. You have to pay for it and can't accommodate car higher than 2 meters. When you have a roof box, must find place on the street, what is almost impossible.

The property is nicely built and it is very clean and you get a great service however the down side is how toiletries are not provided and there is no fridge provided either and also the buffet breakfast needs some improvement as the food could be better and they need more variety.

It was O.K for an overnight stay. The “free parking” information turned out to be wrong. The parking fee is 15 Euros in this hotel. I am glad that they agreed not charging this fee for us. Special thanks to the front desk staff.

The ice machine wasn't working the entire week along with the printer that was near the computer. Housekeeping did not come to our room one day which was okay because we were still in the room in the morning before we left to visit the city. Later when my husband asked the front desk for two towels for us he only gave my husband one towel. I then went downstairs to the front desk and he was extremely rude to me, stating that housekeeping had been to our room and were should have towels. It was absolutely ridiculous that i had to argue with the front desk in order to get two towels for showering.

Great stay. Breakfast and Wi-Fi were included as advertised. The hotel was very clean and in good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking near by was free and available within a 100-200 meter walk of the hotel. Parking at the hotel was 15 euro per day. It would be nice if the hotel gave a better description of the parking situation on the website prior to arrival.

For us this hotel is just 5 min walk from our son’s apartment so location is great, also only 4 k from airport. The rooms are comfortable and clean, though the inside windows did have some greasy spots, Theire is shower gel but you hav to ask reception for all other toiletries, luckily we had taken our own. I was concerned that the glasses provided in bathroom are plastic single use, if used across whole Holiday inn chain that’s a lot of plastic at a time when we should be trying to reduce plastic waste. There is plenty of choice at breakfast and we look forward to returning as it is in such a great place for u.
