Very basic property and not much in the local area. The restaurant was closed every day that I was there and so I ended up going to the Novotel on the other side of the road and using their restaurant. There was nothing wrong with it, but it was just underwhelming lacking in any facilities and the breakfast was horrifically bad!!

Great hotel within a mile from the airport. Rooms are very modern and clean, temperature was perfect when I arrived and didn’t even had to look for a thermostat. They have a big parking structure connected to the hotel that has elevators. Breakfast is included and they have to go things available (yogurts, fruit, juice, coffee and pastries) if you leave before 7am. I believe they also have airport shuttle although didn’t use it

This Holiday Inn Epxress is walking distance to the DUS airport. Super friendly staff, clean, there's a bar that serves a few small dishes up to midnight. The breakfast is excellent. Definitely a recommend!

No response to email inquiry weeks before stay regarding airport shuttle. Upon arrival at airport hotel phone number did not work. Airport staff told us hotel does not offer a shuttle although we site said it did. We took a taxi to hotel. Hotel staff told us their e.ail system had been down for 3 weeks.

Great night in Dusseldorf

Very comfortable hotel. Easy access to airport and train station. Quality beddings and toiletries. Excellent options for the breakfast that is included. Room is spacious and provides a kettle for coffee and tea options. Loved that!
Offers transportation to airport in the description but be aware that does not mean the same thing as it does in Canada. It only means you have options, bus, train, or taxi. I could have walked the fifteen minutes to the train or taken the bus to the station (bus + sky train = €6) but I opted for convenience and took a taxi as the front desk indicated it was a €10-15 ride but the driver charged me €18. Just know there are cheaper options. Would definitely stay here again!

The Hotel was excellent, staff very friendly from check-in and then at breakfast, they were greeting everyone in the breakfast room. Room very spacious and very clean. One bonus from me is the kettle in the room, i do like my Yorkshire tea...the only downfall to this hotel is there is no shuttle to/from the airport as advertised when I booked. The options are to take the SB51 bus (€2) or a taxi (€10-€15). Overall a very comfortable overnight stay.

It was a great hotel. A bit confusion for the shuttle transfer. While hotel.com was emphasizing the shuttle transfer from the hotel to airport is available for surcharge, the hotel staff denied this service. Also the hotel.com was saying the walking distance from airport to the hotel is 15 minutes, in fact it was 25 minutes. Please update these info.

Very helpful,we experienced a delay in flights which caused us to have a layover in Germany the staff was kind and helpful in such a stressful situation. They helped with getting dinner when it was after ten pm as well as helping getting transportation to the airport at four am to the airport. Amazing customer service -fabulous experience

I really appreciated that the manager let me check in early. The room is clean and comfortable with soft sheets. I walked to an Italian Restaurant (Ca' del Re) about 25 minutes away and it was safe for a woman to walk and explore. Conveniently located by the Dusseldorf Airport.

Good convenient hotel

Convenient hotel for the airport. Quite new, good condition and clean. The breakfast was very basic, but OK. Note there is not actually an airport shuttle service but the hotel can quickly request a taxi. I walked a minute to the local bus stop (SB51 service every 20 mins or so) which takes less than 10 mins to get to the terminal.

The hotel is fairly new and very good. The staff was welcoming and efficient. The room was spotless and it’s an easy access from the airport, just take the sky train to parking P4 and than it’s a 15 mins walk or 10€ with Uber ride.
The breakfast was very good and we had no trouble finding a table at 9am even though it was busy.
We would definitely stay there again if needed in Dusseldorf.

The staff were amazing..Its a refreshing change to actually be met with a smile and professionalism. We arrived just before midnight but the Barman/night porter went up and above to make us feel welcome...So much so what started out as one quick drink turned into three...Even the breakfast staff were fantastic...It appears IHG have to count themselves lucky to have such nice people working for them

It was a great place. There were one tiny issues, I don't know what issue they had with the system and the restaurant was closed. The room I got faced the garbage pickup and it's too loud. And they arrived at 6 or before 6. The climate in the room can't go down 18 degrees Celsius and we had to open the window and that's why the issue mentioned above got worse

I requested two rooms with some east specifics. My guest got one room according to what I request but I got something completely different. The lady at the lobby was not helpful (and she was the one who selected the rooms) and my requests thru expedia were ignored. Well I am the one paying and making the review. My 4 days stay was a failure by the lady at the lobbe and management useless request for help.

The hotel is in a great location if you want to tour around. Very clean and front desk staff are very helpful with anything you need, directions, more towels etc.

This hotel serves a good purpose of being easily accessible to the airport. Walking path to the airport is convenient and easy to use, but not sure I'd use it after dark (although it is lit). Facilities are updated and nice, rooms are nicely furnished with good space. Towels weren't great in the room - a little thin, threadbare, and seemed well used.
