Great location. The cleanliness could be improved both in the public areas, stairs, and the rooms. The room I had was not overlooking the street, however, it was very noisy in the evening, probably due to the concentration of air conditioner s on the other side of the window. The window opened onto a 3 x 8 foot space occupied solely by ACs. Staff were very friendly and willing to help with transportation and transit info.

When it rained the hall leaked and made it slippery. Construction being done upstairs. mold in showers and infested with black flies in bathroom that bite. cable not stable and power in the building. Over all I can deal with alot and I come to BA alot and this is the first time I had to say something, I usually do not and this time, was a deception...HORRIBLE the cleaning staff were amazing and the morning staff male staff members were amazing. Get morning support staff at night so they can get breaks and go to the bathroom or give them a remote to buzz the door open..

Value for money with challenges
The Milan Hotel is in a good location for central Buenos Aires - you can walk to most places, even though BA is a huge city and distances are far; the hotel is near a Metro stop - the metro is grotty but cheap. The room in this hotel was satisfactory; it had a patio, but the soot from the 4 kitchen chimney outlets covered the patio furniture, which had to be cleaned off before using, but worse still, the greasy smell from the chimneys came into the room at all times and was nauseating. The breakfasts were satisfactory but the same every day. The staff was friendly and helpful. Front rooms would be noisy. The elevator is very antiquated and small; it constantly has problems with the door closing, which sets off an alarm that can be heard in the rooms at all hours. Overall the hotel scores on location and excellent value for money, in spite of the particular disadvantages mentioned above.

For the cons, the noise was largely from the elevator (which has a warning alarm when it's not closed properly, due to its weird door system) and what seemed like constant housekeeping (a mild complaint, as I did like the hotel's cleanliness). The one time I needed to talk to a concierge, he didn't speak English, so that may be an issue.
The shower is the biggest detriment. It is incredibly small and, thus, hard to maneuver in. The large, billowy shower curtain eats up some of that space as well. Needless to say, showers were a bit uncomfortable. It is certainly not a shower/bath combo as advertised on this site.
In that regard, despite the picture, there also is not a kitchen in the room.
The hotel has many positives. It is near many attractions (like Obelisco) and bus stops for the tourist. It is also near multiple local restaurants--a good one right next, for example, or the ice cream place across the street. The hotel is clean and well kept. The front door is securely controlled by the concierge, and the outside door within the room also locks. The room itself was very well maintained, and the housekeeper took great care with anything left strewn about.

La experiencia fue muy mala, las fotos no son reales, nos dieron una habitación sin aire acondicionado y con camas separadas cuando pedí juntas. Tuvimos que cambiar de habitación y la que nos dieron también tenía camas separadas y la llave no funcionaba, cada vez que queríamos volver a entrar tenía que venir alguien a abrirnos. El lugar está bastante sucio y con manchas de humedad. Hay feo olor, el agua de la ducha era muy poca y no se puede dormir del ruido constante que hay. Se escucha todo, el ascensor, las conversaciones, las puertas, todo.

El desayuno todo excelente y rico y la atención del bar y la cocina muy bien y responsable y respetuosa , lo otro bueno la ubicación a 6 cuadra del obilisco y el resecepcionista de la noche que fue muy amable y nos solucionó todo menos lo del aire porque estaba todo lleno las habitaciones y nos podía cambiar .El resto todo mal la atención de la resecepcionista pésima y mala gana ,la habitación le faltaba las toallas y el aire acondicionado no enfriaba nada era un sauna de día .

En las fotos parece más de lo que es. Solo la planta baja es aceptable visualmente. Desde que se ingresa se percibe un olor desagradable, (como a hotel viejo, diría). El resto, mal mantenido, no muy limpio, pasillos largos y laberinticos que llevan a pequeñas habitaciones con camas estrechas, muebles económicos y con mucho uso. No hay tomas eléctricos disponibles (funciona un solo velador porque el otro no hay donde enchufarlo), el televisor pequeñito instalado a más de 2m de altura arriba de un placard, las vistas por la ventana a tragaluces oscuros y despintados donde hay instalaciones desprolijas (muy feas vistas), el baño muy pequeño pero medianamente adecuado.

A localização do hotel é excelente. Apesar dos quartos serem antigos (bem diferentes da recepção) e o café da manhã ter pouca variedade, até aí vale o custo benefício. No entanto, a internet quase não funcionava no nosso quarto (só funcionou no primeiro dia). Mesmo tendo reclamado, o problema não foi resolvido. Havia muito barulho de noite e de manhã cedo (acho que nosso quarto ficava próximo da lavanderia e escutavamos os barulhos das máquinas tarde da noite). De manhã cedo era uma barulheira também. O quarto era limpo, mas havia muita sujeira na parte interna do prédio (vão existente na parte interna, para onde dava a janela). Tinha até comida estragada jogada. Como ficamos poucos dias, foi ok. Para uma estadia mais longa falta conforto, silêncio, limpeza.

A beleza está apenas na recepção, entramos em um quarto horrível e com a pia quebrada (um perigo) e banheiro sujo, pedimos pra trocar. O blackout da janela não fechava, o box dos quartos não cabe 1 pessoa. Café da manhã muito (mas muito mesmo) fraco. Porém as pessoas que trabalham são simpáticas e o hotel ganha na localidade.

Hotel bom que vale o custo x benefício. Quarto um pouco pequeno e banheiro também, mas com um bom café da manhã e a localização é espetacular, ao lado da Avenida Corrientes que é bem movimentada o dia inteiro e a um quarteirão do metro. Passei uma semana nesse hotel com minha esposa e nos sentimos muito seguros saindo em horários diversos. Recomendo.

Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo de vários pontos turísticos e com várias opções de bares, restaurantes e cafés. Em frente ao Hotel existe uma área de lazer super variada, com música ao vivo, shows, museu, teatro, bares... fomos diversas vezes! O quarto e o banheiro eram pequenos, mas funcionais. A cama bem confortável, café da manhã bom, só senti falta de frutas. Pelo custo-benefício com certeza recomendo a estadia.

En general, es un buen hotel, cómodo y sencillo. El personal es lo más destacable, siempre atendiendo con amabilidad y buena predisposición. Mi única queja viene por el lado del aire acondicionado: en el cuarto que me hospede, si bien andaba, no enfríaba nada por más que lo deje en 18 grados. Deberían revisar eso.

El hotel esta bien ubicado, a metros de la calle corrientes. Hay innumerable cantidad de restaurantes, bares, tiendas, y teatros en sus alrededores. El Obelisco esta a 5 cuadras de distancia. El metro (subte) a escasas 2 1/2 cuadras. El personal del hotel es amable. Las habitaciones al igual que las camas son pequeñas pero optimas para un viaje corto. La limpieza es adecuada. El desayuno es variado. El términos generales ha sido una buena experiencia.

O buffet do café da manhã é o mesmo de todos os dias com pouquíssimas opções.
O quarto é pequeno e o armário para deixar malas e roupas é antigo.
Todos os dias eu precisei matar baratas dentro do quarto. O quarto estava voltado para o shaft do prédio por isso não entrava muita luz nem ventilava bem.
Por outro lado os funcionários foram atenciosos e solícitos quando necessário.
