This was a great find for our stay in Milan. We are a family with small children, so the indoor pool was very fun! It was nice to have breakfast at the hotel since it’s hard to get babies out and let the older one swim all before checkout if we leave. The staff was very friendly, and the room was nice. It was also nice to have the parking garage attached. Would stay again!

It's a very nice hotel. We had a room upgrade to a spacious king family room. Comfortable bed with tons of pillows!!! The staff was very friendly. Parking facilities were very convenient and safe. Breakfast was a lovely buffet with a little bit of everything.
My only issue was that it the rooms and common areas are dated. Especially the bathroom needed a refurbishment. The sink and tub showed signs of being very old.
Overall a short, but excellent stay.

At first we arrived at night itvwas a little intimidating because not enough lighting on the street, but the next morning we were happy to know that the hotel was in a Turkish Italian neighborhood. People were friendly and food around the area was great.
Also train to Milan only thirty minutes away.
If you dont Want the high price hotels in Milan this the Hotel.

A good base for Monza and Milan

We came for the Italian Grand Prix in Monza and stayed for a week. The location is really good for getting the train into Monza and also has great metro links for getting back to Milan. The area around the hotel does not have many options for eating in the evening unfortunately but there is a small restaurant in the hotel itself which was open for some of the week. The room was comfortable and well equipped, the staff at the hotel were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was nice and had a good range of options.

The staff are nice but the room we had was falling apart, skirting boards falling off the walls with nails sticking out, bath cover falling off the side , bathroom door had no lock . Would have been a nice hotel in the 90s I guess but in desperate need of a refurb. Area is residential but metro station is 5 mins walk from hotel

Lovely clean and tidy hotel and room. Food was really nice in the hotel. Metro underground station was a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. Swimming pool was lovely and refreshing after a hot day in Milan. Room had usb and usb-c charging points either side of the bed. Small fridge in the room helped to keep drinks cool. Good few restaurants near the hotel, must go to Bella Napoli, about 5-10 minutes away. Staff were brilliant, shower head was faulty, they got it sorted the next day. The area around the hotel was lacking a bit of TLC but so does the majority of the surrounding areas of Milan, don't let that put you off. Absolutely no trouble or intimidating from anyone. Kebab shop directly opposite does lovely food too.

Great location next to the station so very easy to get into Milan. Loved the car park with direct access into the hotel. The staff were so helpful and accommodating - an absolute credit to the hotel. Really enjoyed the pool and gym facilities and used them both days.

The only reason I didn't rate as excellent is that the owners of the hotel need to spend some money on it. The shower in our room really needed a new head for better spray and the attachment fixed, The sealant round the pool is in poor condition and needs replacing. It would not take a huge investment to make this hotel excellent.

Prior to my stay I called the hotel up about a query and Alberto had no customer service skills he put the phone down on me several times and was not willing to help me out over the phone.

Our room reservation has a free bottle of wine. But none was provided until we asked for it at the reception desk.
The shower head was terrible. It must be extremely old because the only shower settings that were working were either the strong jet stream or the barely there mist. Otherwise it was a decent hotel with a nice European breakfast.

Had a really nice stay, the staff were really polite and helpful especially Christina. The hotel is located near a metro station which makes it easy to travel around Milan. The breakfast options were nice and the room was clean. The only thing was the light switches in the room were hard to figure out at first but we asked the cleaners for help and they politely helped us. All in all a very good hotel with very nice staff in a good location. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again in the future.

The room kettle did not work but was resolved on being pointed out.
The safe did not lock and required nw batteries.
There was no glass tumblers or porcelain cups but rather flimsy plastic glass and paper cups for hot drinks.
I requested additional coffee sachets and tea bags only to be told go to the bar to buy.
Room was too hot overnight as air-conditioning was not functioning.

First family trip to Italy - and wanted somewhere we could get to all our chosen destinations easily, by either car or public transport. The location of the Abacus was ideal for this. Sesto may not be the prettiest of places, but it’s real! Felt as though we gained more from seeing some of the real culture, rather than staying in a resort or specific tourist area. Cannot fault the hotel for cleanliness and service. Yes it’s a little dated, but it’s clean, comfortable and offers great value for money!

An excellent property near metro station. Each member of the staff Is wonderful and they are always willing to help the guests to make your stay memorable. We really enjoyed our stay here and would surely come back. The room was very good with comfy beds. The staff at front desk, at bar and at breaKfast was very good and we could see they love what they do. This property should be five star property in my view. I have stayed here in past as solo guest and this was my second time here with family. The breakfast was amazing with lot of variety. Since this property is next to metro station, you can reach centre of Milan easily. I would highly recommend this property. You can be sure you would feel like staying in a 5 star property. You can’t go wrong if you book your stay with Abacus hotel.

Hotel location is very great as it was just 10 mins away from the airport but hotel itself is very old and the area around the hotel is little shady.

We just checked in and purchase indoor parking (as it was additional 10 euro) and didn’t go out.

The room was made good but there are flies inside the room may be because of the weather and we spot 2-3.

Overall it is pit stop type of hotel for an overnight stay and don’t expect more than that.

The hotel is located at the terminal station of a metro line. Purchase a 3-day pass and you can go anywhere in Milan conveniently with comfort, i.e., you'll have a seat. The rooms are very large and nice. The cost is fantastic, when comparing to those in the city center. Dining in neighborhood local authentic Italian restaurants is a must. Excellent stay overall.

We had a lovely stay at the Abacus Hotel. Our room was very spacious and was cleaned daily by a lovely lady. We found the beds comfortable and had great nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent.
I will say not to expect much from the pool/gym. However, we didn't have much time to use them so it wasn't a problem for us.
One thing that is ideal about this hotel is how close it is to the metro so it's really easy to get into Milan and really affordable.
All of us agreed we would stay here again.

Comfortable but very dated, for a 4 star it was lacking quality. The room had “climate control” but as for cooling it was non existent. Pool had a band-aid, the picture was very deceiving. As for breakfast both days we waited 20 plus minutes for the food to be refilled but ended up eating croissants and yogurt.

We stayed at the Abacus Hotel for a family event in the area. Having children we decided to book a hotel with a pool so that the kids would have some fun at the premises. The pool was not massive but good size and safe for kids. The sauna and steam room were lovely too. The whole SPA needs a little renovating work...
Breakfast was very good, especially the fresh croissants and the soft boiled eggs! The coffee was ok but the staff incredibly helpful and very nice.
The room was spacious and clean... The products in the bathroom were cheap but the towels were clean and new. Beds very comfortable and crisp sheets. The air cod system was incredibly noisy so much that I had to switch the fan off completely to be able to sleep.

The breakfast is not that special for 4 stars* I dont know why there is no bacon! Most of the hotel I tried they have bacon for breakfast. And there was 2 days in a row the sausage is look very old and from a can. Not very inviting to eat.

The receptionist are very helpful when we need a ride to the airport.

The pool is ok and there is fitness machine on the side.
The aircon in our room doesnt work hmmmm dont feel the cold.

Very convenient to the train station, although it is a minor stop so not all trains stop here. It is very easy to transfer to Monzo (one stop away) which seems to be a major stop. The end of the line subway stop to access Milano via underground is also very near the hotel.

However, this is the first 4-star hotel I ever seen which doesn't provide complementary water bottles. regarding the swimming pool, it is a bit small and there was no pool towels and no supervision.

Lady called Erica was great help at the desk, when we initially arrived we were given a room at the top moat floor which did not match the description at all to expedia site, upon expressing our dissatisfaction we were Immediately moved to a family suite. The hotel is really far out from the city and outside urban fare charges, having said this we were able to catch the metro which is 50 yards from the hotel to centre and it took 25 minutes.

Overall a good deal

The hotel was quite a ways from downtown which was good for us as our kids were on this trip so the nights were quiet. The metro station is right next to hotel so we were able to hop on the red line all the way to Duomo which is the location of many sites and activities. It was only 2 Euro per trip per adult(kids ride free) and you can purchase a day or multiple day ticket for just a little more. Hotel also had pool and playground for the kids plus the breakfast buffet was very nice.
Only issue we had was the wi fi was out two of our nights which is bad as we typically let the kids unwind after a day of sightseeing by watching Netflix when we travel so they can watch shows in English. The staff was not very knowledgeable about the issue, just simply saying it was out. We had read on reviews of the hotel prior to booking where others say the same thing so I am guessing it is a reoccurring issue.
So overall I would recomend this hotel to those traveling with children but if you are young it would be better to stay somewhere closer to the nightlife

When I mentioned, what if I want to have an internet access at the same time on both my smartphone and my laptop, the reply was it's impossible. Apparently, if I already use my wi-fi password on my smartphone and then want to use a laptop, I have to log off from the internet on my smartphone and only then get my laptop connected to wi-fi. Such a setup reminded me of first 4 or 5 years of 21st century. Although our room was smoke-free and did not smell like an ashtray, there was a strong cigarette-like smell in the corridor. On-site parking was a plus and use of room key for parking too was convenient. However, the card reading machines' location was so cumbersome I had to apply all my driving skills to make sure I stayed close enough to be able to reach those machines without leaving my small European car. The room itself was clean but on a smaller side as we could barely move around our two large suitcases. Wi-fi reception was good but photo uploads on the Facebook would take forever.
