Excellent modern hotel. We were able to check in to our room 2hrs early. Metro station is around the corner, so super convenient to get into central Milan. The underground car park was large and convenient. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was vast and plentiful. Super helpful reception staff. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is very average when ot comes to wellbeing. The gym is is pointless one weight machine and 7 cardio machines. The heaviest dumbbell is 9kg. I recommend this to be improved as the space is there just need have a more fitness equipments and heavier dumbbells.

A wonderful stay

This hotel is about 5-minute away from the Sesso Marelli Metro Station (M1 or Red Line). It takes about 30 minutes to get to the downtown area. I arrived the hotel around 12:30 pm but the staff gave me a room right the way. I truly appreciated her kindness as I was tired after a 12-hour flight. My room was on the ninth floor facing the city. It was spacious, quiet, and generally clean (except the bottom of the glass panel of the bath tub). There were some minor signs of wear and tear. The bed and pillow were comfortable to me. They provided two bottles of water in the small refrigerator which was really great. I liked the breakfast that came with many choices of fruits, nuts, bread, hot and cold items, and beverages. The staff were helpful, professional, and respectful. There were a few small restaurants within 10-minute walk and a small grocery store right near the Metro Station.

There was some confusion after our reservation was lost but it was figured out in the end. Great service but I suggest emailing the actual hotel after your reservation has been confirmed by Hotels.ca just to be sure all went thru.

The hotel is not in a great area but it is nice inside. The staff ensured we were very comfortable and brought an extra fan to deal with the fact their AC couldn't keep up to the crazy heat. Breakfast was worth it too!

I had a very nice stay. The (standard) room and bathroom were both very spacious with a convenient setup; I am comparing to the US and Canada where I normally travel. However, the shower was really cramped, and I have a petite build so I imagine that someone larger would have a really hard time. The rooms were quiet, except for occasional slamming doors. The bedding was nice. The restaurant was quite nice too; I went for breakfast and dinner. I'm vegetarian and there were a few options that suited me.

Lovely staff, quiet location

Modern hotel, quiet and within easy reach of the metro to Milan Centre. We were there during the August holidays and therefore restaurant and laundry were both closed. It seems odd that the restaurant should be closed although to be fair there are many restaurants to go to in Milan!

Everything was amazing except for the shower. The door doesn’t close properly so I flooded the floor. Also couldn’t figure out the handheld. Couldn’t turn into the head shower. When you turned the knob the head part did not turn on. Otherwise clean, comfortable. Bartenders were amazing!

I really don’t get some of the reviews here, unless the hotel was something else before my visit! Spent a lovely weekend in Milan with my teen daughters, and we got one of the small suites with closet, living room at an excellent price! Hotel is stunning, staff were lovely!! Breakfast was excellent, restaurant was aesthetically pleasing, the decor was right up to my alley! Theres a big supermarket across the road, theres pizza places everywhere and buses! As it is a bit far from Milan centre, it takes only 16 minutes from Sesto Marelli metro to Duomo metro! Only negative was that the internet was down for almost 8 hours, it was night time anyways!! I would definitely stay here again, no problems

Hotel seems to be undergoing a restoration (becoming a Marriott in a few weeks) - new carpets on my floor. Got to my room to discover no shower head, dirty hand towels and no bath towels! All got rectified quickly but after a long working day it wasn't what I needed.

It's a boring business hotel with no real bar or amenities. Nearest restaurants are a 15 min walk.

This hotel is good value for money but if a tourist, it's a bit out of central area.. 15 minutes by metro into duomo, which does not seem a lot but when you do journey a few times, you might end up wishing that you had chosen somewhere a little nearer the centre. The hotel was fine with a lovely breakfast, very quiet maybe lacking a little athmosphere. I wouldn't recommend it for hot Summer months as the aircon system is not very good. It basically seemed to be a fan blowing air. Just + and minus on it.. no idea what temperature set to.. we had it down as far as possible to minus setting but was not very cold. Value for money, hotel good if on a budget which we were.. not luxurious but clean, pleasant and lovely staff.

The Hotel was very nice overall. We got there past 11 pm, in other words miss the whole day of services and maybe I expected for the staff to be more compassionate since the flight was delayed and the driver that I paid was overpaid . So I lost a day of breakfast and stayed at the hotel that I paid, i did expect someone to help us with the luggage, to offer a snack or maybe leave towels in the room. The next 3 days the sheets were not changed. Oh well, at least the hotel is next to the metro station and is clean

Family Vacation in Milan (Summer of 2019)

I got the chance to stay at NH Concordia in Sesto San Giovanni from Aug 14-18.

Arrival:
We are a family of 9 traveling, we all arrived at MXP Airport. Although the hotel is commutable by train, we decided to contact the hotel to arrange for a car service. Do not hesitate to contact them, they are very friendly and they respond to email very quickly.

Check in and Stay:
I don't have any complaints on the check in process, it was smooth and orderly. We arrived before 12nn, and 3 of 4 rooms are already available and we are able to rest right away. Every hotel staff can speak English and super friendly! The breakfast buffet was also fabulous!

Around the Area:
We do not see any attractions around the area of the hotel, although we managed to find a supermarket (COOP) just around the corner (7-9 mins walk). The Metro train is 1 block away (3-5 mins walk) and we used that a lot during our stay.

Overall:
I highly recommend NH Concordia in Sesto San Giovanni if you plan to visit Milan. However, there are not a lot of good bar or restaurants around this area. If you are traveling in a group, you can buy beer, wine or liquor on a supermarket close by and you can use the lobby to socialize. The hotel is certainly worth the money, clean, beautiful and friendly staff.

Lovely staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and great breakfast buffet. Safe area and 2 min walk to metro station which gets you into the centre of town in 20 mins. Very much enjoyed our stay! Would stay again, and recommend to others.
Would love it if there were tea/coffee making facilities either in the room or in the downstairs communal areas, as when we tried to use the tea making facilities in the lobby one evening we were told it was for the morning.

(2) Good value.
(3) The metro stop is about 4 minute walk away (then a few stops to central station).
(4) There are some Chinese and Italian restaurants about 5 minute walk from the hotel, but they are not easy to find so need to check maps on the phone.
(5) It's not quite city centre, but if you don't mind taking the metro then the hotel is good.

The hotel was quite far from the centrale station. as we arrived on 25 Dec, the subway was no longer at service at 9:30pm and we waited for taxi for at least 45mins, which was exhausting. The room was large and clean, which was great but the shower's water turned cool several times suddenly during the shower. Breakfast were no bad.

Unless you are there for business nearby, the hotel is not really recommended.
The Kitchen was closed due to lack of guests, and there was No restaurants nearby. We had serious trouble to find place to eat.

Perfect hotel for city a break!

The hotel all over is very clean from the room to the reception and breakfast area. Very spacious room and bathroom. Only about 5 minute walk from the metro station, which is about 6-7 stops to the very centre of Milan. Very helpful staff and were more than happy to give advice and book a taxi for our return to the airport. All in all an ideal hotel for exploring the city and great value for money! Throughly enjoyed my stay!!

Although the hotel is on the farther end of the train system, it has a station within walking distance. The hotel itself is beautiful. The bathroom is very modern and beautiful. The room is very comfortable and clean. The WIFI is great. It even has free breakfast included and was delicious. The staff was also very friendly. They helped us out with directions to places and anything else we asked. Great place, great price even if it is a little far away.

Awesome Service . Very warm staff particularly miss Pamela was very helpful. We had taken two vodafone SIM card but we're having connectivity issues , the hotel gave us free roaming wifi devices which could be used all over the city along with a battery charger . It really helped a lot in keeping me and my wife connected . The hotel is little far from city Center but since it on the redline metro so we did not have to change any trains . But overall the staff and restarting guys are simply amazing in their service approach .

Decent enough hotel

This is your standard business-minded hotel with just the necessities for an overnight stay and not much else. The room was big enough for what we needed but not exactly the most comfortable. The mattress on the bed was rather hard and there weren't many pillows for two people. There was a reasonably stocked mini bar/fridge (with unreasonable prices) and a kettle but only one sachet of each product to drink, so not ideal if you BOTH wanted a coffee.
The hotel is situated in an industry-oriented part of north Milan, with not many ameneties (shops, cafes, bars, etc.) nearby but just a short walk to the Metro station of San Sesto.

Modern hotel with an easy walk to Metro station

The room is modern, nice and clean. The breakfast is good. The service is great - reception staff is really helpful and informative. The hotel is located in north Milan and away from Milan city center but the Metro station is close by.
