The room and hotel itself was nice. Nothing extravagant. It’s located about 30 minutes outside the city center by tram which was not great. It is right on a main road so noisy with traffic. There was a strike so the tram stopped working and there was no other options but expensive taxis or walking. The dining options in the area was limited and most places were closed.

Staff were incredibly helpful at all hours of the day or night when needed. Just a 15 minute walk away from the metro so perfect to get into Milan. Room condition was perfect. Only complaint would be that in the area local to the hotel there is nothing to do and all restaurants seemed closed most of the time but with just a couple stops away from the city centre it really didn't matter.

The property was clean and the staff was helpful. The outside of the hotel had much to be desired. The hotel was surrounded by businesses and warehouses, not too many restaurants around. The major drawback was the fact the entire hotel AC was not working. During the day in June it was hot and unbearable. The did have some fans but not enough for the entire hotel. It made sleeping uncomfortable at night. Once they gave us a fan, it was a bit more manageable but not ideal.

The hotel is definitely not a four star hotel. I had ripped bedding in my room, the hairdryer was rubbish, the staff were noisy in the mornings and the reception staff were unhelpful. This hotel has a cold unfriendly atmosphere and i wouldn't recommend staying there.

THe biggest problem was the totally flakey internet connection. This hotel is in an industrial area, nota tourist area, so people are there for BUSINESS. Not having reliable internet is a big problem.

A modern hotel beside Mediaset outside Milan. It’s about 10 minutes by taxi from Linate Airport and a free shuttle minibus from the hotel door to the nearby metro will take you to central Milan in about 25 minutes. The hotel itself is in a quiet industrial area but the center of Colongo Monzese (20 minute walk) has some nice cafes and gelateria if you don’t feel like going all the way into Milan for an ice-creme. There’s a café and restaurant across the street from the hotel and a supermarket about 10 -12 minutes walk away. The hotel itself has a tasty restaurant with an outdoor seating area. The breakfast is very good (I don’t usually eat continental breakfast) great coffee, bread and cakes. There’s also a bar and reading area with a TV. The room I stayed in (I was kindly upgraded to a junior suite) was very nice. The bed was big and comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and modern and the room was quiet and relaxing. There was a nice TV with lots of channels, a mini fridge and tea/ coffee making facilities. I would recommend paying a little extra for a room like this rather than staying in a standard double room because a King Size bed and jetted tub is very relaxing. Everywhere was kept extremely clean and tidy. The lady at the front desk is particularly lovely and it has a very good staff. Overall an ideal hotel for work or leisure and I will certainly stay here again

This is a 3 star hotel. The bathroom was huge and nice, bedroom quite small, even by Italian standards. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable and quiet. WIFI is terrible; free but you need to sign on with social media. Breakfast was very nice, although the blonde woman who worked the first two days stayed mostly by the bar, and acted like we were bothering her to ask for coffee. The brunette on the last day was great, as was the desk staff. Neighborhood is industrial and really ugly. Hotel looks like it's either a converted factory, or built to look like the factories that surround it. Does not deserve a 4 star rating.

Clean room, friendly staff spoke english. Shuttle to metro if you desire, although it's only 1km way if you want to walk it. Nice bathroom, good shower. They opened the kitchen just to make me a sandwich, I had just arrived, and I was starving for some non gas station/airline food. Many hotels wouldn't do that. Only detractor is the a/c, or from what I could tell, the lack thereof.

Was not impressed with the outside of the building, but the staff and food were wonderful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were delightful. Not many Americans stay here. It is a bit out of the way. I did get bitten by misquitos while walking back to the building. My husband and I very much enjoyed having a delightful dinner in the patio! I would reccommend this place to friends!!

Overnight before flying out of Linate

We stayed overnight here before an early morning flight out of Linate airport. The arrival to the hotel is easy and check in was quick and efficient. The room fit our family of 5 perfectly and was clean and well arranged. The hotel staff were very helpful and arranged a taxi to the airport for us in the morning, as it was before the time that their shuttle started operating. The best 'discovery' was that we were able to park our car in their underground garage at no charge while we were away for the four days. Great savings over airport parking! Would recommend this hotel for sure.

For a cheap 4 star, no complaints,

Good food in restaurant, good bedroom with decent bed, WIFI connection reasonable, staff were friendly, free pick up and drop off service from airport.

It is in a remote location, but not so far from Metro, 8 mins walk with no restaurants and shops close by. This is not an issue if your travelling on business or want to save some money by staying outside city centre.

Quiet area outside of city with mass transit acces

The hotel staff was very snobby. While checking in with the front desk I asked a few questions about the hotel and the man there seemed bothered an didn't answer my questions fully. The free breakfast is OK, nothing too spectacular, but the waitress who had to get all the food for you had to be retrieved from the floor above where she was hanging out with the receptionist. Parking was nice below but hard to drive through. Short drive to the city, but once you get in the city it hard to drive around, which is not different than any other city.

This was our second stay at the Studios and found it just as enjoyable as before. We chose it because it is close to some friends we were visiting. Desk staff very helpful in activating air conditioning for us since only heating cycle was active upon our check-in. Good breakfast, free secure parking. WiFi signal in room occasionally weak and had to take laptop to lobby to get sufficient signal strength. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Totally random location.
I was counting on the airport shuttle but it was not available for my early morning flight, causing me to spent 30 euros for a taxi, negating the great price I got on the room.
My arrival by train the night before was no better. While theoretically it looked reasonable to take the metro from Milano centrale, in practice, not so. Train change, additional fee for outer zone, long wait, circuitous! confusing, not pedestrian-friendly walk from metro to hotel.
Perhaps a great choice for someone with a car.

Hotel Studios is highly recommended.

This hotel was inexpensive, well-placed, comfortable and with an excellent breakfast. There was garage parking underneath, and it is close (about 1km) to Cologno Sud metro station which connects to the city centre every few minutes. The hotel has a free shuttle to the station, but the walk is easy if a little grungy in places. The movie-theme design is quirky but interesting. All in all, I give it a high recommendation.

This hotel is open and airy, with good ambiance. I enjoyed to movie star themed decor. The only drawback is the main restaurant is tucked downstairs and feels a bit industrial, however the servers were very nice, efficient, and helpful with the menu items. The location requires a taxi ride to areas of interest.

On the perimeter of a large industrial complex

The hotel is very modern, extremely clean and fresh, with very friendly staff, most of whom speak very good English. The rooms are comfortable, fully air conditioned, with a mini bar, they would however benefit from the provision of tea/coffee making facilities. There is also a small gymnasium with up to date modern exercise equipment. A good selection of foods are available for breakfast, and a wide choice of meals on the evening menu. The hotel also offers conference facilities. The only downside is the hotels location, it is basically built on a main road passing through an industrial park, which is not evident when viewing images of the hotel on line. The hotel however does offer a free shuttle mini bus to nearby locations, and will also drop you off at the local Metro station, which will take you directly into Milan in about 15 minutes, Monza is also accessible to the north. Overall an excellent hotel, providing you don't find its location a problem

Hotel Studios, near-ish to Milan

Given the very high costs of hotels in the Milan area this seemed like a reasonable - but expensive - compromise.
Getting the metro to the station was OK but the walk from there to the hotel was quite tricky to navigate through industrial units and blocks of flats. The hotel is obviously suited better to people who may be working in the area than to the casual tourist!
The price was high and the rating was 4-star. However, in my experience of hotels, this was not worth the money or the rating. The room was very small (described as 'tripple' on my reservation) with 2 single beds where I had asked for a double. On the second day the housekeeper pushed the two together and made it up as one!
Wi-fi is complimentary (as I believe it should be in all hotels now). However, we had to stand in the corridor or just inside the door of the room to receive any signal. OK for smart phones but useless for lap-top users!
The hotel's theme is TV and Film. Rooms are named after various actors. We were in the 'Humphrey Bogart - USA' room. I was intrigued to discover that Sean Connery is also from the USA! I thought he was a Scottish milkman!

The hotel is out of Milan's center, in a quiet part of the city. There\"s lot of parking space available. The personnel is just perfect, the room incredibly large and well equipped for this range of price. Breakfast was very nice too.

L’hotel non proprio in centro ma è servita bene dalla metro che è a 10 minuti a piedi dall’hotel. Le stanze sono carine e spaziose. Nulla di pretenzioso ma in linea con il costo. Desagradable.

Desafortunadamente algunos hoteles en Italia se niegan a conectar los aires acondicionados para ahorrar dinero, pero a los huéspedes les cobran la habitación como si prestaran el servicio, en resumen me toco dormir con calor, horroroso. Desayuno bueno y desagradable el personal que no son capaces de regalar un poco de hielo. NO lo recomiendo.

O hotel era muito bonito, limpo e organizado. Os funcionários foram muito atenciosos e simpáticos. O quarto era muito bom, limpo e grande, assim como o banheiro. O café da manhã era extraordinário, nós simplesmente amamos. O único ponto negativo é a localização, fica uns 15 min a pé da próxima estação de metrô e não passa ônibus nessa área. Infelizmente pegamos um dia de greve de metrô e tivemos de pegar um táxi pro centro. Caso tenha carro, eles têm estacionamento.

L'hôtel est bien, il est doté d'un parking sous-terrain surveillé, juste en face de la structure ce trouve un restaurant ce qui est bien pratique.

Concernant l’accueil, l’hôtesse a été sympathique, la chambre est simple, la salle de bain est spacieuse, le petit déjeuner est très très simple mais bon. Très calme la nuit, par contre au petit matin il y a de l’agitation mais le principal c’est que nous avions bien dormi. Je recommande si vous êtes de passage .

È un ottima struttura per soggiornare a Cologno Monzese, le stanze sono a tema cinema e la vicinanza con Mediaset e due radio nazionali rende il luogo suggestivo. Molto buona la colazione che permette di scegliere tra salato e dolce con servizio bar. Ambiente molto pulito e letto veramente comodo.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut vom Airport Linate zu erreichen. Mit einem Taxi waren wir in 15 Minuten da. Kosten zur Tageszeit ca. 23 Euro. Nachts ca. 27 Euro. Zur Metro ca. 15 Minuten laufen. Gute Verbindung zu allen relevanten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Frühstück war lecker aber zu wenig Obst und Salat-Auswahl. Viel Süßes. Es ist etwas laut (an eine Hauptstraße gelegen) und an einigen Stellen in die Jahre gekommen. Nach und nach scheint es renoviert und zeitgemäß gestaltet worden zu sein. Es ist barrierefrei und sehr sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Personale gentile e molto professionale. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo Camera ok, ma surreale che il frigobar abbia tre bottigliette in plastica da 500 ml che scopri solo al checkout che costano 2.50 cadauna. Me ne sbatto dei 5 euro bevuti ma o indichi i prezzi o offri. Micragnosi e ridicoli.

El Hotel muy bien, el problema es que había que andar unos 15 minutos hasta la boca más próxima de metro por unas calles básicamente industriales.
De noche esas calles dan un poco de miedo si vas sola

Inte särskilt bra för turister

Långt ifrån stan med tåg, nära till flygplats Linate med bil. Dålig kommunikation i närheten, verkar vara ett hotel för folk som jobbar på företagen runtomkring. Frukosten var väldigt dålig, fanns nästan ingenting. Ingen sallad alls, fanns lite frukt men frukten var inte färsk. Rummet hade mycket myggor, gick inte att låsa dörren till badrummet. Rummet var inte i jättebra skick heller. Personalen kan inte så bra engelska. Försök inte ens att ladda en elbil då det kostar 10 eur per timme. I helhet skulle jag inte rekommendera hotellet för turister, finns säkert bättre inne i stan.
