★☆☆☆☆ SCAM — Do Not Book!

We arrived at this hotel with a confirmed reservation, only to find out they no longer rent nightly rooms — it’s now monthly only! There was zero communication from the property, and we were left stranded with no place to stay. It’s misleading, unprofessional, and feels like a total scam. Absolutely disappointed. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place — don’t waste your time or money.

1950’s Vibe

This a vintage motel that shows its age. It does have a beautiful beach, and a pool that looked clean. The room was worn, with cracked floor tiles and a gap under the front door big enough for a small mouse to go through.
There was a party on the lower level that went on well after midnight with loud music and partying.
The biggest thing I didn’t like was the gate to enter and exit the parking area. You needed to either go to the office or call them so they could go outside and kind the gate with a garage door opener.
I asked the front desk how long before a developer buys it and puts up a high rise. Apparently it’s already owned by a developer that’s just waiting for the right time to redevelop the property.

It's very old property built in 1950s and I guess no work has been done since then. It was a very clean room with fresh bedlinen. You can clearly hear the neighbor behind the wall so get your earplugs if you decide to stay. Also there's no window to open for fresh air so people just keep their doors open to ventilate the air. It is the cheapest place to stay in the area and it's perfect location for beach stay.

I had a great time Miami Florida. Hotel right on the beach and weather was beautiful 80 degrees in February. The across the street is CVS 24 hours and tons restaurants to eat but I had to pay $18 convenience resort fee per day. I had a great time there and I will go back again.

The services do not match the description. They brought a towel and a coffee machine on the 3rd day after I went to them 4 times. 1 cup despite the fact that there were 4 of us. There was mold on the cabinets.

There is a construction site right beside the hotel. Way too expensive for the service you get. Keep in mind you have to pay 20$ USD per day for parking and 18$ USD for the resort you won't use at all. So 38$ USD per day more than the list price

Read the reviews people! And they range from 2 to 10! With good reason. This is one of - if not THE - cheapest beachfront spaces around - GEORGEOUS beach area - former 60's hotel, so of course it's patched and not perfect. But still standing! Turned from hotel to condo - now some units are privately owned and some are rented as a hotel. You don't get all the amenities of a hotel like an ice machine, wi-fi, our room did not have a microwave, etc. But if you want budget - and you realize you are not getting high end hotel perks, Publix is right across the street, there are multiple restaurants across the street, it's inexpensive, the beach is great - we loved it! You have to be able to roll with the punches though.

I booked this place for 3 nights through Expedia. I arrived at 6.45 PM for checkin but the reception entrance was locked and there was no response on the number posted. After 45 mts of knocking and waiting I contacted Expedia who asked me to look for other hotels and they would process a refund. After another significant amount spent for 3 nights Expedia responds that the property is refusing to refund my payment for the 3 nights there.

It served its purpose, as in it had clean sheets and a clean bathroom. However, the rooms need an upgrade. There was a hole in the wall where I presume a microwave was supposed to be, the room didn't have a coffee machine or shower towels, and the bathroom door was damaged so much that it would not close.

We stayed one night of our two night stay and left early. Just really old and outdated. It does have a good location though being right on the beach.

Showed up to the property to no one at the desk or in the office. Security gave us our keys and led us to our room. Once in the room we found that the sliding door wouldn’t latch properly, door wouldn’t lock properly, blinds wouldn’t close, water was orange from the faucet, and there was a plastic bag over the smoke detector. There was a large hole partially behind one of the beds. We left and went to stay elsewhere.

Hello,

Me and 2 other friends stayed in the room from Friday to Sunday. The room was dirty, the floor was wet, there was only one toilet paper in the bathroom, one towel, we found cockroaches, on Saturday a man was following me and I felt uncomfortable, the staff were not friendly and the lighting in the place at night was not good either. I will not go back there.

This has to be the worst experience I have endured at a “hotel”, I don’t think you can even call this a hotel! First room we were told to “look at” before paying had mold all over the bed!!! Mold all in the grout of the tile. Once we found a room that worked for us, after walking around the hotel room to room the towels weren’t even clean, black marks all over, and peoples hair. Then when we asked for clean ones they didn’t have any and had to walk ROOM TO ROOM again! Honestly the worst place ever!

This place was missing some of the basics that are needed for basic sustainability and checking in was a complete nightmare. It was dirty and we left a day early and found another place to stay because of the situation. But used Expedia instead of Hotels.com for Thursday night.

It is not a motel - it is a beach condo. If you unlucky - you may get a really bad old room with broken refrigerator.
Maintenance is low. But it is just on the beach. Very nicr location

The listing is not clear that there is no cooking / kitchen in the rooms. You have to pay extra if you want a stove top. The mini fridge also has no freezer. There are no microwaves and only a toaster and a coffeemaker with no coffee. This is all not mentioned in the listing. The lady at the front desk Beatta is extremely rude and unhelpful to guests. There are minimal (meaning 5) lounge chairs in the pool area however there are stacks of them by the storage area. The gates for the parking lot have been disabled and music playing loudly until all hours so there’s a huge lack of security. I’ve been coming to this hotel for decades so I’m aware of what to expect but was very disappointed how this company is running this once gorgeous facility.

There was a lot of noise due to people staying out late playing dominoes downstairs in a large group oh, at least 10 or more people, including children yet we were asked to take down a birthday banner that we put outside of the window to cut my husband a birthday cake and it was only the four of us and they kept giving us a hard time questioning if we were planning to have a party and if there was more people coming smh

This is nothing like advertised and pictured. The room looked something of the 80's with blue tile in the bathroom and missing pieces replaced by white spakle. Smelled like mold and bed cover had cigarette burns. Very old building and room. One small fridge and no microwave. Only thing they have is location being by the beach. Doors have a regular key and whole properyy looked unsafe. They have the berve to charge a property free and also a resort fee on top of tax and parking $20 a night. I could not sleep there so i went to sleep at a different hotel after paying for this room too since it was non refundable. Would not reccomend to anyone. Was told that it will be torn down on the next 5 years.

The swimming pool was closed and dirty. The room was booked for four, but two narrow beds. There were only towels and blankets for two. The staff was rude. The room smelled bad and the sheets were dirty. We left when we couldn't stay there and lost our money. Market images give the wrong impression of the place! Don't go in here!

The Pictures on line of the property are way different from actual condo.. We had no ocean view whatsoever, but an excellent view of the brick staircase. The floors were dirty inside the unit and whatever you do, don’t look under the bed. , the deadbolt did not lock, the pool was filthy, and even worse, the hot tub gray brown color with lots of dirt and debris. very noisy neighbors.. The place looks like a low income housing. They added additional fees when I got to the property. If I would’ve seen the property before I paid on line, I would’ve not taken it. After checking into the room I went back downstairs to get a refund and leave the property. All I wanted was the refund of the fees! I was going to eat the online price that I paid and leave the property but they would not refund any part of the fee. lady behind the desk was very rude n bitter! She told me that I rent the property available not the pictures kind of like a car. I travel a lot and never have I’ve seen pictures so different from the actual property. I will never stay here again. Spent a few more bucks more per night and get a outstanding resort just two properties away. The only saving grace of this entire episode was that it was on the beach. I would be surprised if this property still stands one year from now!

We had read the poor reviews and booked anyway because of the location on the beach (we are pretty seasoned travelers and can tolerate old, run-down facilities). Unfortunately, its hard to tolerate filth. The sheets on the bed appeared clean, but everything else was dirty. Floor covered in gravel, sand, hair and both sinks appear to have had sitting water in them, and were caked with grim. When we let staff know the room had not appeared to be cleaned, a man brought us a mop. Just a dry mop... no broom, no bucket...
With it being spring break, we could not find another place, so we stayed. Did not ever THINK about going near the pool.

The beach was lovely.

The place is very run down, doesn’t provide room service, doesn’t provide clean towels, we had the same 3 small towels for 5 days.
Nobody cleaned the rooms or changed the sheets, there is sand everywhere and they don’t even provide shampoo. There are no cleaning supplies or even a broom.
You have to buy everything like paper towel, paper plates, plastic silverware.
The pool is in a very bad condition, looks very dirty. The only advantage of this place is access to the beach. There are few broken lounge chairs in front of it for use but again no towels. It feels unsafe for the families with smell of weed and shady looking individuals around. Garbage isn’t being picked up enough and the bins outside are overflowing with spilling trash.
For air conditioning you get loud window units and next door to the hotel is a big construction site with diggers and loud noise from morning to night. Will not be booking it again for sure.

Nothing except the location. We checked into our room and it was never cleaned. the bed was slept in, the shower was used with a dirty towel hanging over the bar, there was sand on the floor and there wasn’t even a phone in the room to call the front desk. There was no clean towels in the room had to go find housekeeping to get towels. I could keep on going, but you get the idea it was horrible and I would never go back and never recommend it to anybody.

Marijuana in our room and air conditioned was broke and no solution to fix it for our 3 day stay and television was unhooked and couldn’t be watched no wifi traveling with a 13 month old we couldn’t let her stay there she was there 5 minutes and picked up a beetle off the floor.
