The hotel room was neat and clean, and the staff was courteous. My family and I overall had an enjoyable stay.

However, I am giving a 3-star rating due to a couple of concerns. I had specifically booked a corner city-view room after doing considerable research, but the room provided did not match my selection, which was disappointing.

Additionally, the hotel has outsourced its beach seating to a third-party contractor, and the experience there was not pleasant. The contractor was not very courteous, and hotel guests had to wait for nearly an hour to get chairs and an umbrella. It also appeared that priority was given to customers willing to pay an additional $90, while hotel guests were asked to wait until previously occupied chairs became available.

This place was amazing! I don’t know what people who say the elevators are an issue are talking about unless it’s been resolved. I almost canceled my reservation and stayed elsewhere bc of the reviews that said elevators are a problem. I had no issue getting an elevator over a busy weekend, the suite is amazing! From having 1-1/2 baths, a living room, dining room, spacious kitchen, wall in closet, his n hers sink in the master bath, and a balcony that stretched the entire width of my suite with amazing views I was impressed! The valet was very very accommodating, the staff at the desk and door were great, friendly, and really made sure that I got everything I wanted out of my stay! 10/10!!! Will def be staying here again! Don’t listen to the people complaining about elevators not once did I wait and was in and out from Thursday to Sunday. I’m sure many people left at checkout time as I did Sunday also which would probably be the busiest time and chance of having an elevator issue, but there wasn’t 1 incident! Great place to stay!

Loved the 2 pools. Asked for body wash and conditioner as one bathroom had none, said they’d send it up. Never did. Room was big and fit our needs. Direct beach access means cross a 4 lane highway. Also free beach chairs and umbrella means wait in line for half hour get your chairs and can’t leave or they will give your seats away within 30 minutes. Not very impressed

While the hotel is well maintained and the room was clean and well kept, there were several problems.
1. Elevators are extremely slow. Be prepared to line up and wait, sometimes for 5-10 min.
2. There was no phone in the room to call down to the front desk, if you need to speak to someone you need to go to the lobby. Staff were very responsive but there should be a way to call down.
3. This is a VERY busy hotel, and you will hear noises throughout the night. We were woken up both nights of our stay by other guests having parties. The first night at 4am!!! The second night at 2 am. Granted it was a long weekend, and not the hotel’s fault, it still reflects poorly on their brand and reputation. And of course I needed to go down to the lobby at 4 am as I couldn’t call down.

Other than these issues, the staff were kind and responsive to our needs.

The worst experience. I’ve been waiting three weeks for news about my refund due to a cancellation, and no one answers the phones or emails. The worst customer service, and when someone finally does answer the phone and you tell them you’re calling about a refund status, they shamelessly hang up on you. There should be an option in the review to give not even one star.

I would like to start by saying that the room accommodations & staff were excellent. We appreciated the courtesy shown to us throughout our stay. How ever there were several issues that significantly impacted our stay. The elevators were extremely slow, with wait times reaching up to 20 minutes on multiple occasions. this was highly inconvenient and frustrating. additionally the beach was consistently overcrowded and there were not enough beach lounges available for guests, despite arriving well before midday, we were unable to secure beach lounges until late afternoon. As a result ,we were unable to fully enjoy the beach amenities that are advertised as part of the resort experience. Given that I paid resort fees specifically for access to these amenities, I feel that I did not receive the value promised. Due to these circumstances, I respectfully request a refund of the resort fees totaling $175 for the 5 days charged during our stay, I look forward to your response and a rsolution. Booked a 2 bedroom and received a 3 bedroom with small tiny rooms since “they didn’t have”.
Rooms are not cleaned well, mostly likely they don’t change sheets as one bed was covered in hair as soon as we walked in. I asked do you do housekeeping? Said with such confidence to make me feel stupid for asking the response was “of course we do after you leave”. Phones to the front desk don’t work, had to go down to the front desk to ask for fresh towels. Half hour later still no towels went back a second time and finally got it.
Second night I asked for fresh towels and they were delivered to the wrong room on my floor.
Couch is covered with couch covers as it’s probably filthy. Carpet and floors have a nice shade of black and filth. Doors to the balcony have such a draft the rooms were cold from the draft and filled with mosquitos getting in from the cracks.

Lots to love about this condo/hotel. It’s modern and has great amenities. The unit was spacious and perfect for our family.

However the rug was pretty dirty (other people’s toenail clippings and sand on it). Also, there is no daily housekeeping, which is fine but there is also very little to tidy up after yourself, like a dustbuster or dish soap. Finally the elevators were a total nightmare. Very slow, always packed. Waited upwards of 15 min to get on one. The building needs to invest in express elevators for higher floors. Fix these couple of things and it would be a perfect stay.

While the unit was roomy, it needed a fresh coat of paint and some TLC. The door to the unit would auto deadbolt lock if the door closed too hard. That meant I could not get into the unit w/o assistance from the facility. I waited approx 15 minutes one evening to get assistance getting into my unit due to the deadbolt issue. It took 15 mins bc there was only one person at the front desk and they had a needy guest who slowed the process. Conceptually, a nice place. Reality, it needs some updates and more staff in my opinion.

Nice propety and location, and friendly enough staff, but the fact is when we arrived there were multiple maintenance issues in the room that took days to solve (no water at all in one shower, only hot water at kitchem sink, some power outlets never worked, dead lightbulbs, blinking overhead lights, etc) They also tried to add cleaning charges which were reversed when I questioned them. Tennis court we were informed was closed for maintenence so some reason.

The hotel offers very good service.
From arrival to departure. We even had help when we left to fill the truck with suitcases, which is rare. WoW!
We had a 3-bedroom condo.
Huge balcony with a great view! Condo very well divided and very comfortable!
The only negative point on our side was that many basic items were missing from the kitchen (dish towels, scissors, sharp knives, hooks in the bathroom....).
I should also mention that on Hotel.com, I hadn't noticed that we were going to have a cleaning fee, so with a 3-bedroom condo, expect to pay $165 US.

Apart from that, we were satisfied!

The hotel’s A/C was not working in the lobby, the hallways or the elevators.
The hotel has 43 floors but only 4 elevators so to get an elevator would take anywhere between 10-20 minutes.
The bellhops and valet parking employees were not helpful.

This is a great place if you are a college kid it’s like staying in a dorm
We waited 30 minutes for an elevator and that is common people on our floor 21 were walking down the stairs
They hit you with a bunch of fees when you arrive that added up to about 145 a day
One of those is valet service which you have no choice if you have a car, but our entire stay the valet service didn’t work via texting and we had to go downstairs stand in line to ask for our car then wait in line for the car
We could have stayed at a much nicer place for less money

One of the best Hotels I have been so far. I checked the reviews before booking and the elevators issue was one of the main cons. After a whoke week stay
I can say it was not a big problem for us. We stayed with family and children and it was a great experience. The pools are awesome and the rooms were very clean, they have a full kitchen that we used everyday as well as the laundry in the room, the satff was bery kind to us also.
Even thou it is not by the beach ,the distance is walkable and very easy access. Parking is a little.bit expensive but the resort fees cover the beach umbrellas and towels which is not covered in other places,plus acces to all the amenities.

Such an amazing resort. Definitely going back. The staff was incredible. Had the pleasure of working with Daniela who was so helpful with my pre-booking. Even with my flight delays and cancellation on the day of check in. I called and informed them that I had to drive because of last minute cancellation and when I got there 8 hours later than scheduled, the staff greeted me warmly and made sure to do the utmost to make my stay worth the drive. I was presented with a bottle of wine, cookies, and passes for free drink. They called me during my next day to check up on me. This will forever be my vacation resort when I travel to Ft. Lauderdale. My room was spectacular and VERY clean. I was on the 38th floor with a beautiful view of both the city and ocean. The pool on the 6th floor was beautiful and they had games. I was chosen as the guest of the day for Sunday and had a cabana all day. Although my trip started horrible due to Silver Airways and United Airlines, the staff at Hyde Beach House made all that wash away: thanks Daniella and the late night front desk check in staff.

These are older condos. We rented a partial ocean/poolview. They are not sound proof and sit next to the freeway. Sirens, cars, motorcycles all hours of the night.
Glad we locked the cost with Expedia since the condos charge multiple excessive fees. Parking, cleaning, resort and non smoking fee.
Our condo room 807 smelled of pot and cigarettes. Although they did offer to move us later after attempting to swiffer and spray air freshner. The bedding, towels, and curtains had nicotine burns. We had already unpacked, ordered grocery and food delivery. Ironically I was still charged the deposit/feesfor no smoking and cleaning.
I would not recommend or stay here again.

Suite was clean if you didn't look too closely at stains on furniture. Check in and check out process was efficient and staff was friendly. Definitely a party hotel as all night long we could hear furniture moving and music in the room above us. Was pricey for the value but we just needed something with three bedrooms close to Lauderdale airport.

I’d say over all I would give this stay a 2/5. You can tell the room was only spot cleaned, stains on the throw pillows, stains on the couches & the chairs, odor through our room, hole in the wall behind the door when you walk in and to top it all off the craziest part was the fridge/freezer wasn’t working, I guess there was an ice buildup in the freezer which prevented the air from flowing properly so the maintenance guy came in with a lawn blower and used that loud machine at 9pm for over an hour to “melt the ice” which didn’t work… he ended up pulling the chunk of ice off. 9pm-10:30 ish of loud noise while putting our kids to bed was rough and we were hoping to talk & enjoy time with our friends who had just arrived. Plus the Valet guys are rude, one laughed at my friend saying “ **laughs** looks like you’ll have to pay $40 to get a new ticket since you just arrived” because she misplaced hers when carrying a ton of luggage up. Luckily we found it but it’s the principle, the laughing and tone of voice was very unnecessary.

I was pleased with how there was no real amenities for the price that you have to pay and all the parking headache you have to go through everything was closed and front desk told me everything was gonna be open. I got to do nothing and I want a free cabana and I didn’t even get to use it because they lied about it being available when it was not I asked for them to send me some cleaning supplies to my room all they said with towels there’s no broom in the room to clean up the floor. They do not serve any type of food whatsoever just a snack vending machine and a recommend you to go next-door to the next hotel, which is not even better than a parking. Please do not get me started. You’re paying for parking and they still rush you and take your car when you tell them to wait or are they overcharging you when you just parking for 10 minutes and then you have to use your key card to go everywhere which really is nothing to do. I was not satisfied the elevators are so loud that I hear it in the room.

I’ve been coming to the Hyde Hotel since 2020 and it never disappoints. Had another great stay over Mother’s Day—front desk was super friendly and accommodating as always. Food and drinks were great, and the vibe is always just right. One of my favorite spots!

The rooms were clean, facilities were nice but elevator and pool accommodations left a lot to be desired. A 15 minute wait, at a minimum, trying to get on an elevator was ridiculous. Absolutely not chairs or tables poolside, no coffee shops or food on site. Valet was good minus not being able to get through on the phone to get our vehicle before getting downstairs and having to wait another 20 minutes after 30 waiting and riding an elevator. So almost an hour to check out and leave.

Beach was a quick walk across the street. They have towels, longer and umbrellas for use. At times we had a longer wait for the elevator. The pool was great! There is an indoor basketball court and the hotel lets you make an appointment for court and a basketball which the kids had fun with. There is a Sister property across the street that has a great bar and it had multiple restaurants. Our room was wonderful! Kids had their own bed and bath on one side and we had our own. Gorgeous kitchen in between and living room so we had plenty of space. No housekeeping. Not enough coffee supplies or bakeware for cooking but, we would stay here again!
