This hotel or room was way overpriced for what we actually got this room should’ve been free in my opinion. They didn’t let us check in until 4pm when we got there at 10am , did not inform us that check in was at 4pm at all . Took 2 hours before they even responded to an email , phone call or text . Hotel floor was being painted , elevator seemed like it was too old and was going to collapse besides the fact it would take 10 minutes to even getting on one . I did not enjoy my experience with this hotel what so ever I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Although I’ve had amazing experiences in the past, this time was extremely different. Upon arrival the front desk lady was extremely rude if it wasn’t for the other guys at the desk I wouldn’t have been able to purchase another room. Leo and Christian at the restaurant/ bar we’re the only reason I would consider having a cocktail at the bar they were super nice and professional! Housekeeping came to my room 1 time during a 3 day stay. On the day of checkout valet took my bags but to my surprise once at the airport no bags were in my trunk...so yes I missed my flight. I wouldn’t recommend this place especially on weekends as they are “busy” which is the excuse I heard multiple times when they made numerous mistakes.

We stayed in a privately owned condo in this hotel. Although the front desk will check you in, they have no control over the unit. There were no tissues, extra toilet paper or amenities in the bathroom and no dish soap or towels in the kitchen even though it is a full kitchen. The hotel won't supply anything and I called the management company for the unit 3 times with no response. So beware you must shop to enjoy your vacation and don't expect additional service. There is also a resort fee you must pay but the concierge and the beach and bar staff are good. The hotel is a little \"tired\" and could be cleaner.

It was within walking distance of shopping and dining. A nice grocery store one block away. The Kruieg coffee maker didn’t work in our room. And the microwave made a heck of a racket. The apartment was fairly comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Would not stay at condos!! Book direct to hotel!

This is not a direct book through hotel, which was a huge pain! The website for ERO rentals is not secure and they want you to send a picture of your credit card and license which is not a good way to do business. This also means you don’t check in with front desk and different cleaning service. Felt a little harassed about what time we were getting there so someone could meet us. We were driving in felt like I had an appt time instead of enjoying the drive. I had to text 30 min prior to our arrival which I did and then there was no one to meet us and we were able to check in with front desk. Then there was no coffee in the room (I was so looking forward to morning coffee on the balcony) it took a couple days to get coffee. Stains on the carpet and shower and cabinets need repair. Would not stay through them again but would book directly through hotel!

This was my wife and I first time visiting the resort. We was able to check in early and we was given a late check out with no additional fee. The hotel staff was polite and friendly. We really enjoyed the ocean and the city view balcony. However, the front of the hotel was under construction. Nevertheless, the stay was excellent and the people was great.

I had an amazing time at Marenas Resort. My room was so spacious, clean, fully furnished and the best part was the view! The bathrooms are super clean and the bed is huge! I love how there are clear instructions on how to use the room. My overall stay was perfect. I would def recommend to a friend or family. I’m actually thinking of going back. The room I stayed at was 1708A. Front desk was so nice and the valet staff was so friendly.

Think before you book!!!

I will try to be short: room #1708B
1.You are in hotel,but you are not part of it because it's private rentals.
2.You can't adjust water temperature in the shower, you are getting only cold or hot.
3. I find iron, but no iron board. Remember!!! can't go to to hotel stuff. Customer service from EcoRentals:
\" Iron and iron board are not part of agreement and iron was in the room by accident\". After 15 min on the phone I convinced lady that iron should be a common think like toilet paper or shampoo. I got iron board one day before I checked out.
4.Coffee machine with two coffee capsules for 2 people for 4 days?
5.Room service no show on Sunday, I guess day off.
6.Parking $27 per night, I was told $27 for 4 nights.

Great condo, great view!

Great stay by the beach, awesome location. The staff was wonderful. Definitely plan to stay there again. Only concern was the private condos, although awesome if you have any concerns with the air conditioning unit, you may need to wait longer for an engineer to check it out.

I wouldn't go back to this place if they paid me! Hotel staff at the front desk and maids were rude. The room had blood stains on the bed, the room smelled like smoke and its was just an awful experience. My family and I left and went to a different resort.

Property management company, not the hotel....

I've stayed at Marenas before. This particular unit is managed by a property management company and it is not apparent from their listing. On the day of travel I received a cryptic text from them telling me I had to scan and submit a copy of my drivers license and front and back copies of my credit card. It had to be uploaded to the portal of a property management company whose name was never mentioned. It said I had to send that in order to get checkin instructions even though I had already paid for my four day stay in full. I'm in the travel business, this is a very unprofessional way of handling this. What if I had left my house and was unable to upload this? How would I even verify who they are from a text on a cellphone?
The unit is really a one bedroom unit attached to a separate hotel room with a hallway that is lit all the time as you can't turn the light off. It's advertised as a 2 bedroom.

It was a terrible experience! When we got to the unit 1404, the dishes were all dirty from the previous guest. The carpet was filled with stains and very dirty as it was the furniture.
The TV remote control was missing, the bathroom had the cheapest toilet paper ever and there were no tissues.
It was not worth it, it is terribly maintained. As a matter of fact we cheked out one day early as we did not feel comfortable there.

Very nice hotel and right on the BEACH!!

Generally, we liked it! Close to everything. It had all the amenities you would find in a hotel and the food was incredibly good!!
The staff was good, some better than others though. I would have liked it if the staff had been a little more attentive and friendlier and more knowledgeable.
Communication from Expedia could have been much better when we booked. We were not aware when booking that our condo was not part of the hotel's housekeeping services, although just about everything else was. Also confusing was knowing if room service was part of the hotel amenities. Hotel staff not clear either when asked.
We would have liked to know when booking exactly what was and what was not included. Are we booking a hotel room or condo unit?!

When we booked we supposed to stay in an hotel !! Or not it was an apartment and the service in charge was not at the hotel
There's no hot water during 2 days
The lights bulbs in bath room and bedroom where missing
No room services during all the stay or they says after 3 days we have to paid for!
Don't gives to your customers such reservations

Be prepared for all the charges from the hotel, everything seems to be overpriced.

Beach chairs are almost stacked on top of each other, making it very difficult to enjoy the beach.

Wrongly advertised and shocking customer service

I arrived after a very long day and found that the room was not at all what I booked on hotels.com. To start with there was no kitchenette area, no fridge or microwave and no cookware. The room had a city view, not a bay view which I had booked. There were no \"designer\" toiletries, instead there were 3 shower gel bottles, two were empty and one was half full. Two light bulbs were not working, the general standard was shocking, the toilet brush was all rusted, there were parts peeling off the desk and the room had clearly not been cleaned. After taking all of this in I called reception who said it was not their problem and gave me the number of the property manager called Frank who was one of the rudest person I have spoken to. He could not care less and said I could pay another $4000 to get a room with a kitchenette and bay view. I then called hotels.com and was on hold for at least 30 minutes and never even got a call back.

Primeiramente fiz uma reserva de um apartamento no hotel pel Expédia, e quando fui fazer o check-in me informaram que se tratava de um apartamento privado e não pertencia ao hotel. Até aí tudo bem, a Expedia não me informou isto, não sei se deveria informar ou não. Fiquei 4 noites, limparam o quarto somente 02 vezes. Na minha saída pedi na recepção um “late check-out”, e me disseram que por se tratar de um apartamento privado eles não podiam me dar; pediram para eu ligar para o dono do apartamento, e me passaram o número do telefone dele. Lembrando que isto tudo lá nos EUA.
Quanto ao hotel ele está em uma grande reforma, não tem nem acesso a recepção. Tive que entrar todas as vezes pela garagem subterrânea para poder acessar o hotel. O quarto em frente ao que fiquei também estava em reforma, sujeira e barulho total.
Resumindo péssima experiência com a reserva pela expedia e com o hotel.

Edificio en obra al lado arruina todo

Si bien la letra chica lo aclara, el \"HOTEL\" es un condominio privado. Para el checkin hay que hacer más tramites de lo habitual. La Recepción del edificio, te deriva a otra empresa, aparecen cargos adicionales importantes. El uso de la piscina y el servicio de playa no está incluído (son unos 28 dolares extras por día). Hay un edificio en construcción al lado, máquinas andando por la playa de forma permanente, ruido, mugre, contaminación, etc. El apartamento está ok. Moquete del cuarto sucia y la bañera ya está algo deteriorada.
