Great spot
Michelle
Pool was great, amenities and grounds were lovely.
David
Great stay but driving out past livestock area I didnt notice any trees/shelter for goats to get out of sun/elements. Just speaking as a midwest farmer/cattle rancher.
Arbelle Jane
Just great feels like italy
Lilit
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The entire property is beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained. The staff is professional, friendly, and always welcoming. The restaurants on-site are excellent, and every part of the experience exceeded my expectations. I’m a returning guest, and that says a lot—I will definitely continue choosing Allegretto whenever I visit Paso Robles. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property! Tate was an awesome bellman!

Beautiful property in a wonderful location for us. My wife I want to Allegretto for the Paso Robles Fair & 2 concerts (not for wine). The check-in was fine but the room smelled like cigarette smoke. They were nice about it, corrected the problem, put us in a new room. After the concert on day one the Parking Valet was not there even though we paid for it (10:30pm or so) so that was disappointing. They did credit back. The pool was nice, food very good.
In essence best I could give was a 3. On some stuff they get a 1, other stuff a 5.

We had a wonderful stay at Allegretto. The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning gardens and vineyards right next door that create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed a few hours by the pool, taking advantage of the excellent amenities and the attentive, friendly staff. The pizza by the pool was great, and the location couldn’t be better, it’s just minutes from downtown Paso Robles, making it easy to explore the area.
One of the highlights of the property is wandering the grounds. Don’t miss the resident llamas, the scenic walking paths through the two vineyards and olive grove, and the museum-caliber artwork thoughtfully displayed throughout the resort. Every corner offers something unique to discover.
If you’re looking for a relaxing wine country getaway with beautiful surroundings, outstanding service, and easy access to downtown Paso Robles, Allegretto is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again.

Loved the welcome wine at check in. I really like that they text you before you check in to welcome you and see if there are any special requests. I texted asking for a microwave in our room and it was already in the room as soon as we checked in. Love the animals on the property. The pool was great! Definitely staying again.
Eduardo
The hotel is very nice. I booked one night and requested a late checkout from three different staff members, but it was not granted because they had other guests; however, the hotel was completely empty—barely any cars in the parking lot, no people in the restaurant, and a couple in the pool. Overall, I believe the staff did not like that I booked through Expedia. One staff member looked at the computer, asked if I had booked via Expedia, and then told me there was no late checkout. As a final note, I came in during the World Soccer Cup Mexico vs. England game, the most watched in sports history; they had the game on in the bar, and despite the bar and restaurant being empty, they refused to turn up the volume. They kept the game on mute. I understand the policy if there are more people, but this was a historic event.

The hotel was amazing. Magical property with so many beautiful stories about how it was developed.
The front desk staff on check should have given us the or made us aware of the daily activities on property. Would have been nice to have utilized them. She was also useless at restaurant recommendations. Thank goodness for our phones.
But I loved the hotel, our room, location & everything's else. Would stay again

Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Perfect location to explore wineries around Paso.
Diana
Our stay was the perfect weekend getaway with my husband. The hotel made us feel like we were in Italy, with its beautiful atmosphere and charm. Everything was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our time there. We would definitely recommend it and can't wait to come back!
Cassie
My husband & I love staying here. It’s became our favorite place to stay when we are in Paso Robles
Hanjun
Everything perfect
Danette
The property was beautiful and we were very excited to stay there and try the restaurant, but the restaurant hostess said that my husbands shirt and my sandals were not appropriate so we were not allowed in until maybe 6:40 to sit outside. It said dress code was resort casual and that’s how we were dressed. Needless to say we did not stay our second night. The front desk was very nice about it and a manager called me the next day but we will not be back.
Araceli
Customer service is kind of going downhill. We were at the pool and no one came to ask if we wanted a cocktail or something to eat. Then my husband went and ordered a drink and it took forever.
We also went to the restaurant on site and the service was very poor.
We stayed at the Ava hotel which is now the completion to this hotel and service was amazing and hotel is beautiful so Allegretto needs to rebrand their services.

Beautiful property and they also have goats and Lammas!
Alex
Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Great shower with instant hot water.
Only thing I didn't like was their absolutely, disgustingly horrible TV remote control. Not sure if the TV has smart features just blocked by the horrible remote or of it's truly a dumb TV, forgot to bring my usual programmed Roku Stick for travel but worry it would be unusable without the ability to select another input source which their horrible remote blocks... Did not notice an on TV menu button... That said given I forgot the Roku did not dig into this more... Usual horrible selection of old cable TV stuff barring access to streaming services.

A beautiful colonialism style hotel that boasts class and luxury. This was a family trip with friends. But there were many weddings held and I can certainly see why. All the staffs were kind and attentive.
Kathryn
One of the most beautiful resorts we have ever stayed in. Their art collection, architecture and landscaping was stunning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Our suite was so spacious with a view of the vineyards.
Lilia
One of the best resorts with amazing energy surrounding
Raymond
The room, location, staff and restaurant were all fantastic. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.
Mikki
Nice property. Big pool. Wine tasting on site. Great restaurant.
Richard
This is an absolutely perfect venue for a Paso Robles stay. Everything was to perfection and there are too many positives things to say about this exceptional resort and vineyard.
nancy
Such an amazing place
John
Overall really love the property.
Pool service was lacking.
Not a lot of smiles being shown by staff.
Just thought for $500-$600 a night it would’ve been next level

The resort is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and offers a peaceful, pet-friendly environment. It’s the perfect place to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature. The serene surroundings help calm the mind and restore energy. The vineyard tour is a definite highlight and well worth experiencing.
Edward
Our stay at Allegretto was truly magical. The property is beautiful and immaculately maintained. The maze of paths through the gardens surrounding the property has a zen-type quality. We will return.

We’ve stayed at Allegretto several times, and it remains one of our favorite hotels in Paso Robles. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and has a relaxing resort-like atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Its convenient location near wineries and downtown Paso Robles makes it the perfect place to stay. We always enjoy our visits and look forward to returning.
Richad
It is so beautiful & clean. It is like being in Italy!

We hosted our son’s graduation here and everything was perfect. The event staff was beyond helpful and set up a seamless and beautiful event. We had lots of family of all different ages and they were all very pleased with staying at the hotel. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and the amenities are also excellent. Highly highly recommend!!
Karim

Becky
Excellent facility, amazing property with unbelievable staff.
Michael
We were greeted by smiles everywhere and everyone we met were happy to help us. A truly beautiful property with a great collection of art in the gardens, hallways and courtyards.
Susan
What a wonderful place to stay at! We have been at Allegretto many times, however every time we stay there, it gets more and more beautiful to . The staff is excellent, the pool and spa are wonderful, the environment and all the historical features are exceptional. It is close to all the wineries that you want to visit and we can’t wait to go back there next year with friends and family. See you soon Allegretto hotel.
Emily
Beautiful resort set in a vineyard with large grounds to relax in. Whether you want to relax at the pool, sit in the courtyard, walk the grounds, taste wine, play bocce, meditate in peace in the church or take a star walk, this beautiful resort has it all. The Cello restaurant is an Italian inspired delight and the thought was in every bite. The staff from vary to front desk to grounds workers were above and beyond. Scott checked us in and he gave us every detail, making sure our stay would be pleasant & making you feel welcome. We enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return.
Jose
Overall great property on West side which is convenient for winery visits.
Richard
The property is fantastic. Wine tasting for my wife was a highlight for her. The grounds are very nice and worth exploring. Restaurant is good, mainly the service more so than the food. I would definitely return here!
John
Everything was first rate but the check-in process was not good. Beautiful hotel particularly the location and grounds.
Carl
The resort was great,...but we had a concern and a complaint. The shower was scaldingly hot. It could not be turned to cold. We had to shower with the water barely on. Also, the shower gel and shampoo dispenser was empty. I did not find that out until I was in the shower. We do believe that it is a nice place to stay, but the 2 problems we had were were upsetting.
Amanda
Love this property. The service is excellent, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Self-parking is super easy. There are always spaces available and it is a really close walk. I would not valet park unless you have accessibility issues. The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant is great.

A very nice property at a great location. Cozy, clean, and creative. We will be back.

The whole property was amazing. The staff were friendly and professional, and the room was huge and immaculate with a very comfortable large bed. The hotel is set in incredible grounds. Absolutely suburb all round.
Chelsey
Fantastic hotel!
Pam
The entire resort is beautiful. Gorgeous decorating inside while the grounds provide unique landscaping that give privacy while exploring their extensive property. The outside entry offers comfortable seating to relax and unwind.
Andrew
This place was amazing! I was blown away. And for the price, it was a bargain.
Ani or Tom
Rooms are very nice. Large and comfortable. What they call vineyard view is questionable so be careful. Lovely restaurant for breakfast. Enjoyed our stay very much.
Vikram
Nice property
Ashley
Absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful, tranquil atmosphere on a huge property to explore. Great dining experiences both at the restaurant and with room service. Our room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous stay!
Oksana

Adam
Great stay
Rhonda
Staff is so friendly, beautiful property comfortable beds
Christine
Room was very spacious. Bed was excellent. They provide robes and slippers. Shower was good.
The pool was not in a convenient location
The restaurant prices were absurd for breakfast. 7$ for a cup of tea. Ridiculous prices. Skip the breakfast. Though the servers were very attentive.
The cleaning and supply rooms for the maids were wide open and that was not attractive for such an upscale place.

We attended a wedding nearby and only stayed one night so I can only speak to the quality of the room and the staff. The exterior of the hotel is lovely, with a Tuscan vibe. There were free yellow bikes out front that anybody could use to either ride on their own or ride in tandem with another. I thought it was a nice touch, but we didn't have time to use them.
The room was clean, the beds were a little too soft for our taste, but it was fine overall. Still, I don't think it was worth $600 for the night. I would have preferred more modern furniture and finishings in the room. It seemed a bit fusty, even if they're going for a Tuscan vibe.
What really shined is their customer service. I had to make a change to the reservation I booked through a Hotels. com but it was incredibly difficult to get any cooperation from that site. Conversely, I spoke to at least five different people at Allegretto to resolve this and they were so attentive, even calling me back to update me on the situation. I felt like they really wanted to get the best outcome for me and eventually, they did. No thanks to Hotels.com, which I'll never use again.

I love everything about this place! If you want to pretend you’re staying in an Italian villa, you should definitely come here.

We stayed for multiple days and had two different rooms. We stayed in the patio room for two nights, and due to availability, had to switch to the fireplace room for our final night. This was a slight hassle, especially since the front desk initially made it seem as though we might be able to remain in the same room. It was also frustrating that we were expected to vacate the first room before the next room was available, which would have left us without a room during the transition.
The patio room was far better than the fireplace room. The fireplace room was located directly above the lobby, so we could hear the automatic entrance door opening and closing throughout the day as guests came and went. The room also appeared to have an area of the bathroom wall that had not been properly repaired after prior damage, with exposed hardware and paint missing from the wall. It almost seemed as though this room was assigned as a last resort. Additionally, both beds were not as comfortable as expected, possibly due to the mattresses simply being older, especially for a resort-style stay where pillow-top or more comfortable mattresses are typically expected.
Although the rooms were equivalent in price, they did not feel equivalent in comfort or overall welcome factor.
That said, the grounds were very nice, relaxing, and enjoyable to walk around. The property had a peaceful, unique new-age feel, while still making us feel like we were somewhere in Italy. The artwork, rocks, fossils,

Some people travel, we vacation! Allegretto Vineyard was one of the best ever experiences! The property is beautiful, the staff was incredible in every aspect. Everyone, truly, wanted to make sure your stay was perfect. The gardens were immaculate, the Zodiac, 12 Station walk around the property was great, whether you wanted a quick respite to meditate, a walk through a vineyard, or the fun of a scavenger hunt to see if you can find each station. So much fun! A great pool area with a poolside cafe and poolside bar service! Remember, we like to vacation! And something you rarely see anymore; ROOMSERVICE! Snacks or meals, they were there for you. We had “breakfast on the veranda”, a lovely breakfast outdoors with views of the property and the amazing rolling hills of Paso Robles (meaning rolling hills of Oak Trees). We stopped by on the way to Monterey from San diego, but will make this property a destination to have more time. Beautiful sunny. warm weather! But make sure you walk the meditative Labyrinth with motion detector sound machines of the most peaceful 10 minute walk thru the Labyrinth! !! 5.5 hours from San diego is not too far for this drive through beautiful rolling hills. The reason for our trip was SENDORIO, a nighttime explosion of lights on 15 acres of rolling hills just east of Paso! Great for the vacationers! Great for business gathering with several secluded outdoor venues including a great Wedding Garden! Sensorio(look it up)

We have stayed at Allegretto for years (we consider ourselves regulars for the most part). My family owns a small vineyard in a neighboring town and Allegretto is our go-to. The staff is consistently professional, the property meticulously maintained, the rooms consistently well-appointed and clean. We have only had one less-than-expected experience. During our last visit our room was situated at a part of the property that faced an empty parking lot that appeared to be used by staff as a break area and storage facility. The room also looked to the highway. The friend we were traveling with (who is not a regular) was accommodated in a room overlooking the vineyard. Were we a bit miffed…sure. During that visit we also noted that the usually professional service and consistently well-prepared meals weee subpar. The server we had was bordering on indifferent, and while the prices had skyrocketed the servings were smaller and the product quality poorer. We will be in town on Memorial Day weekend but will stay elsewhere. Perhaps the kinks will be ironed out by the next time we stay at Allegretto. Looking forward to the kind of service and experience we have come to expect.
