It's really close to the freeway but surprisingly quiet. Pool gets crowded I think they allow day passes for locals. They need more umbrellas by the pool. Rooms are nice but dark. Not much around the hotel so you have to drive into Paso Robles via the freeway.

This is our third stay here, we love it for a quick get away. Very peaceful and lovely pool area. The only thing that wasn’t as good as before was that the staff around the pool were not very attentive. We ordered pizza and drinks and our empty plate and cups sat there for almost 4 hours and we removed it when we left the pool. Staff had walked past it plenty of times and there’s not a spot to put empty dishes.

This Motel really exceeded our expectations. It is a super cute property and the room was adorably decorated. I loved hanging out in the hammock first thing in the morning when it was still cool outside, and by the fire pit in the evening when the temperatures dropped as well. The pool area was amazing - no shortage of very comfortable seating with access to the bar and restaurant - so nice that it is restricted to 21 and older! The morning coffee and croissants were such a nice touch! All staff members we came into contact with were very friendly, with the exception of the person working in the office. She was not rude, but not overly friendly and preoccupied with her laptop during our stops into the office, and absent altogether for about 5 minutes when we checked in.

The only suggestion I would have would be to open the pool area maybe an hour earlier for those who like to use the hot tub when it is still pretty cool outside. Other than that, the hours of 9A-10P were very generous, with the bar/restaurant open noon to 9P.

All said I still give this place 5 stars because the grounds and accommodations are amazing. We would absolutely stay again, and probably will!!

This was such a wonderful surprise! The hotel is so well updated and redesigned. Very cool atmosphere, great pool and restaurant area and really friendly staff. We had a large room that felt like a little apartment. Beautifully landscaped grounds and cute little private yards in front of each room. We will make it a point to stop here again on our journeys up and down the coast. Foos and drinks great too!

The property is right next to the highway, however it was very quiet and we were surprised to not hear any noise from the highway.
The pool/hot tub area was perfect. Nice mellow but upbeat music, perfect temps and delicious food/drink options.
Bed was comfy, room is adorable with a mini electric fireplace.
We plan on staying here anytime we are in the area.

i had the best stay at river lodge inn for my birthday weekend. the vibe is unbeatable. super cute rooms that are more villa like. each room has its own grass front that makes it super pet friendly, which was my number one priority. you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. the rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well put together, with super cozy beds. we slept with the fireplace on. the pool/jacuzzi area is super fun. unfortunately it rained while i was there but we were still able to enjoy the bar area. can’t wait to return on better weather. the entire staff was incredibly welcoming and so friendly. shoutout to michael and the other guy at the bar! no notes for this place. will for sure be back with my pup!

Literally one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at super nice clean everybody’s super helpful just a beautiful hotel only thing that kind of sucked is that you do have to pay $35 dollars if you for forget your dogs bowl to eat or drink they do charge you $35 Instead of just giving it to you which kinda of sucked. They do give you a little bag with two treats and a ball for them. Just a little pricey in my opinion. So don’t forget it. But other than that Five stars all around. ☺️

It is pretty close to the 101 and you can hear the road a little when in the Pool area but it was not enough to be off putting and all the charm of the Hotel makes up for it.

Book for aesthetics, stay for EVERYTHING

We knew about this hotel through Nomada partners. Their sister Hotel is in Los Alamos and we were keen to stay at one of the properties. The aesthetics alone are enough to make anyone swoon. Check in was super easy and the hotel staff was very nice, informative, and accommodating. The ammenities & products felt so luxurious, clean, and thought of to every last detail. The food at Ciao Papi is some of the best in Paso Robles. We live in Sonoma County and have had really great fresh food and this was some of the best pizza by far. We cancelled plans for one of our days just to lay poolside! Pet friendly for a much more affordable fee than a lot of other hotels in downtown Paso, and you can even have them in the pool area on a leash. We also thought it would be loud being so close to Highway 101 and Hwy 46, but it was VERY quiet and we all got the best nights sleep. Will most definitely be staying again.

Beautiful!

This property is beautiful! We have stayed at other Nomad properties and this is the best by far. Rooms are very nicely decorated and spacious. The pool area and grounds are very pretty and makes you want to stay on the property. Great food and drinks onsite so you don't have to leave if you don't want to. (hope they are able to maintain/sustain) the quality of the food, drinks, etc. as the property gets older. Staff is very friendly and accommodating! We are looking forward to our next visit.

Super. Ute getaway

I love the properties this company owns and this was so different - such a cute property. Also, the staff was so friendly! And don’t sleep on the salami plate at Ciao Papi!

What a wonderful, quaint, and cute place! The customer service is next level, and the property is awesome. Great pool, fire pits, a bar and a restaurant. Location is great with quick on and off the 101, and near all the wieners. Rooms are spacious the bedding was so nice. Will always stay in when in Paso.

Fabulous newly renovated Motel!

Super cute hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool area is done so well and the pool bar was fantastic. Our favorite part was the awesome bartender!

Very hip stylish remodeled motel.

absolutely fantastic property, very stylish. Must’ve cost a fortune to remodel. Lovely comfortable bed and furniture. Outside landscaping is fantastic. I would suggest having your AirPods on hand, as the freeway noise might be annoying if by the pool, but it would soon become background noise. It’s an incredible place and highly recommend. !

This is a beautiful property, but right next to freeway so you need to accept freeway noise in the pool area which we found stressful. Would be 5 star property without the noise from the freeway.

Very cute, right off the freeway and next to a big shopping center just outside of the main part of town.

The hot tub was great, cute little hammocks on each rooms yard. Felt like a cute little Mexico or palm springs resort

We loved the retro look that it had. Great bed, pillows and bedding. Landscaping and pool area were just my style.

The stay was excellent. The property is not walkable but it is very relaxing. Just a short drive into Templeton for shopping and coffee.
