The room was a unique floor plan and we loved it. The 2nd floor outdoor bar was so fun and the food and drinks were excellent! We booked this hotel last minute but if we return to Paso Robles this is definitely where we will stay but get a balcony room on the second floor. Great location to walk to restaurants.
Terri
The property is beautiful and the staff welcoming and knowledgeable. However, I had to leave a couple of nights early. I notified the front desk the morning of my departure so they knew my room would be available. Unfortunately, the hotel refused to refund, partially refund or give me a credit towards a future stay for my 2 unused nights. Very disappointing.
Kristi
Very nice, close to downtown
Sandra
Great location. Property is beautiful. Would stay here again.

This was the first place we booked for the night that we were in Paso Robles. Our kids wanted us to find a place that has a pool so they could enjoy that before we headed it further down south. Once we arrived at this beautiful hotel, we were informed that their pool is not open (the app and the reservations never mentioned that). We ended up deciding to not stay and find a different place in Paso which had a wonderful pool. Other than that, it was a wonderful hotel and we would love to come back and stay there when their pool is functional.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location to walk to restaurants and coffee shops around the town square. The beds were very comfortable. Most staff were very helpful. The evening maintenance man Andre went above and beyond to try to get the outdoor fire pit working and then got a heat lamp running instead when the fire pit didn't come on. The check in person however was on.the phone for at least 10 minutes while several.people were waiting in line to check in without even acknowledging those waiting until finally someone got someone else to come check us all in.

Loved. Will be returning
Jessica
This place is amazing, only downside was food at rooftop was pretty awful. But hotel was great, coffee shop downstairs awesome, greek restaurant 10/10.
maryam
Great experience. Wish they told us about the snacks for purchase when we arrived late at night and everything was closed.
Also, we were really looking forward to the bar at the pool but it was closed for a private event the first day. Would have been good to know.

Loved this gorgeous, well-appointed property and have already booked a return visit for our anniversary. Great restaurant on the ground floor as well and we plan to try the one on the upper floor next time!
Carol
We rented three rooms between us. They were all very clean with coffee makers. We enjoyed the rooftop pool party and bar. Good music, good cocktails, fun crowd. I appreciated that there were two kinds of pillows for different sleepers. The breakfast at Erme was delicious and the cafe in the lobby was perfect for a quick coffee and a snack. It is conveniently located for a quick walk to the park and restaurants. We look forward to going back when we go to Paso Robles.
Satenik
I wish breakfast was included but other than that it was perfect , convenient lo in the heart of downtown, safe and clean

The Ava Hotel is amazing! The location is perfect, the room so comfortable, the on-site restaurant and roof top bar were amazing! This was THE perfect hotel to enjoy walking downtown Paso.
Doris

Regina

Tamara
The Ava Hotel is just breath taking, and great location ❤️
Kimberly
Great new hotel! Well designed and the facilities are amazing, especially the rooftop bar! Love it and would recommend staying.
Melanie
The Ava hotel has only been open for one year. We met the owners, and they are so nice. There are so many great amenities, and the tasting rooms often stop by for free tastings for hotel guests. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown, so everything is walkable. The hotel aesthetic is top-tier. I love everything about the hotel. There’s a market on weekends where you meet a lot of the locals that own many of the shops downtown.
Brian
Great relatively new hotel in Paso Robles. Clean modern rooms. Three dining areas. The second floor outside bar is especially nice. And the perfect downtown on the square location. My new go to place to stay in Paso
Charise
Beautiful hotel. Staff was very friendly, location is perfect for walking to tasting rooms and restaurants in downtown (1-3 min walk). Nespresso in the room was great. The rooftop bar is a great stop for a cocktail and appetizer.
Annette
Nice hotel and staff were great!! Restaurant for breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Andreas
Probably the best new option to spend a few nights in Paso and the wine country. Walking distance to the park and all the wining & dining options.
The pool on the roof is unique but maybe it could be converted to a large hot tub.

The amenities, room, staff, and service were all fairly average, with nothing that really stood out. The biggest plus is the hotel’s convenient proximity to downtown. One notable downside is the lack of on-site electric vehicle charging stations.
Ashley
Good drinks at the various bars onsite, the food at the rooftop bar was only okay. And the full scale restaurant downstairs offered a limited selection of to go food for hotel guest which was a real bummer.
The front desk staff while polite didn't really offer any insights or recommendations about the area even when asked they did have much input.

Great location in the charming town of Paso! Pool bar was lovely as was the restaurant and coffee bar was very convenient for breakfast before heading out for wine tastings. We will definitely stay here again.
Ryan
Room was nice. Great location near downtown.
Perry
Rand new hotel, loved the style and comfort! Centered within walking distance of the park, shops and restaurants.
Joseph
The hotel was very clean and very beautiful however I have issues with their breakfast room. I was there six months ago and the place was a mess and with very few people actually helping the clients. I was told that this was going to be resolved. We have come back six months later, and the issue has still not been resolved. Because they have one person working the Restaurant area we have had the bus our own table just so we had a table where we could eat breakfast there. Also, there are only four tables there they’re large enough to seat either two or four people, and also accommodate dishes and forks and glasses and coffee. The other tables there are all cocktails tables and you could barely fit 2 cups of coffee and a small little dish for a croissant or piece of toast. I feel that this room is just there and it’s not really being taken care of. Unfortunately there are no other restaurants in the hotel that we can go to for breakfast. For a Hilton hotel, this is totally unacceptable and I hope that it it will be resolved in the future. I hold very little hope in that happened because I was told that that was gonna happen six months ago and as of yesterday, it still hasn’t happened.

Great experience
Lisa
We stayed one night, everything was great, the staff was friendly and attentive. The room was excellent. We had a great time!!
Robert John
The computer system went down and staff did not seem to have a backup plan. They implied there was a free glass of wine to compensate for the inconvenience. But it was the tasting put on by a local winery and if you wanted something different from their single offering we had to pay. The bar was understaffed and the waiting area was too loud and uncomfortable.
Cristina
Beautiful hotel, great restaurant and amazing downtown location. Wish there was a hot tub though for the colder months.
richard
Yes nice palace
Erica
The room was beautiful. Super clean. The staff was friendly. The lounge was fun. We were stayed on the 2nd floor which was the same as the pool and outdoor bar lounge. Definitely recommend and definitely going back!

Staff was courteous, property was lovely. Right off the square, and very walkable to restaurants, etc. Brand new hotel, so very clean. Found parking on the street and felt safe and saved money.
thelma
Excellent staff! Great location
Jennifer
Clean rooms, friendly staff.
Christopher
We are locals and decided to enjoy our anniversary at the new hotel in town. Great experience. Lovely room, the whole property is artfully done. We enjoyed dessert and after dinner drinks at Esperanza (we had to go to BL Brasserie for dinner as that is our restaurant) and breakfast this morning at Pine Street Bistro. We had planned to check out and go to our usual local breakfast spot but were pleased to have stayed. The menu offers a reasonable variety of choices. We enjoyed the quiche and the breakfast burrito as well as excellent coffees prepared by Sabrina (who is a great ambassador for AVA). All in all it was an excellent variation on the staycation theme.
