It was good
Ramona
Beautiful property with a great location. King suite was spacious and nicely appointed.
Small problem was that there was only one elevator operational during my stay so if you missed it there was a substantial wait for the next one.
The dining area staff was very friendly and helpful however there was limited meal choices & not very satisfying. Better to eat at restaurants off property.

Nice room for 4. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Pool was warm but the jacuzzi could be hotter. You can hear some hwy noise so if you want silence, ask for room facing the hill.
mark
the property was nice and a good location. \"typical Marriott\". I thought having to pay for parking was B.S. since this is not a metro location and there is no issue with parking in the area. other than that it was fine. we didnt utilize the bar or breakfast option that we would have had to pay for.
Tracey
Very clean room and nice distance to wineries etc

The tv did not work and the thermostat did not work. We complained the first night and the staff said they would take care of the complaints. That. Ever happened. Even on check out we asked for a partial credit. We have not heard a thing. Would not recommend this place.
Not even coffee in the lobby.

Convenient location with easy access to shops, downtown Paso Robles and the freeways.
Parking is paid unless you're a Gold Elite member. Breakfast is not included and the options are from a limited selection but well prepared and tasty. We tried the avocado toast and French toast with strawberries and liked them both.
My kids enjoyed the heated pool, although the hot tub was out of service.
Marriott has the best beds and the room was proportionality sized with a mini refrigerator and a microwave making our 2 day stay over Memorial weekend a relaxing experience.
We visited the zoo at Atascadero at a reasonable15 mins driving distance and the Cayucos beach which is about 35 mins away from the hotel to make the most of our stay with younger kids.

Very nice hotel, and excellent staff, but two suggestions for improvement.
First, I am a Hilton Honors Member and usually stay at the Homestead Inn in Paso, but we were meeting my brother and his wife who were Marriott Bonvoy members. I was surprised that there was not a buffet breakfast included, especially since the hotel is not located near a commercial area, like the Homestead Inn.
Second, speaking as an older visitor, there should be a second bar in the shower for one to grab if necessary. The small one at the opposite end of the shower is insufficient.

Excellent overall. Have stayed here for the past 4 years. Everytime we have had great time
Mona
Clean, food and drinks were good
JEFF
Clean room and comfy bed. Great food for dinner and delicious coffee in the morning.
Jessica
Room was clean. Hotel cafe was understaffed. Service was slow.
Diane
Breakfast was 100% purchase only. What I found very bothersome, was no brewed coffee available for self serve. The Latte and Mocha we purchased, was more expensive than Starbucks and had absolutely no flavor or barely a shot of espresso 😞.
Wayne
everything was great
Valerie
Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The desk clerk, Zahra, was accommodating and went above and beyond. We didn’t use the other areas, but the bar area looked really nice. I will definitely be back!
Holly
Very nice place to stay
David
Nice, friendly, clean
daniela
I would stay here again. Close to downtown Paso and freeway. However, breakfast area was closed the entire weekend which was a slight disappointment
Gladys
If three of your employees had not lied to me I never would’ve checked into your hotel but they all lied it’s sad that you have 3 employees that lie 😡😭😡😭😡😭

The hotel states it under went a full remodel. There were a few things wrong with our hotel room. Loose towel hook in the bathroom. Clogged toilet. Power outlet in bathroom didnt work. The carpet near the ac/heating unit was falling over. Was a little disappointed. The bed was comfortable though.
Sonia

Sandi
The room was very clean, comfy bed, and staff was accommodating! 10/10 this is our 4th stay and I'll always go back
John
The hotel was fine , it was your company. When I booked the room on your Expedia website, it stated that I could pay at the hotel. When I got to the hotel, I was informed that my credit card was already charged and I could not pay with a different card Or cash. I had to speak to someone from your company and they were no health at all. I will not be using Expedia any longer. Do not put on your reservations that you can pay when you show up to the hotel when it’s not true.
Eric
Staff was very helpful.
Steven
Everything went well from check in to check out. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bed comfortable. Minor dislike was the bed was situated at a 90 degree angle to the TV causing you to turn your head to one side to watch even with rotating the wall Mount. Other issue was no oatmeal for breakfast and card reader broken both mornings we were there.
kat
Great hire and wonderful staff. I had such wonderful experience there. I would definitely stay there again. 👍👍
Jeff
It wasn't very clean. We had to pay extra for parking

Typical Marriott property - good all around. Only surprise was they charge for parking. But still good.
Alma

Gloria
great size room
Julia
Only there one night. Clean room quiet near downtown walkable
George
Lousy TV reception. Lousy shower flow
Mayra
Overall everything was great except for the pillows and bed. Not a comfortable sleep on any night. Perhaps some memory foam pillows or mattress cover with padding can be considered in next upgrade.
Mark
The property was recently renovated with a nice upscale interior design. The property and rooms are very clean and has a pool, and good amentities. It is centrally located in Paso Robles and a good value.
Dominic
Staff was very friendly and helpful! The hotel was beautiful, gorgeous new fireplace as we entered, great ambiance. The outdoor fire pit area was also very nice. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the evening. Followed by delicious foot in a dining table that has our own TV to enjoy Monday night football. Loved it all.
Hugh
Everything was great!

I felt room was very pricey for what we stayed in. Also, when you spend $350ish a night I would think they could throw in a bottle of water instead of charging $5 each bottle.
Areyda
I enjoyed the hot tub and pool, just wished I had more time to spend in the pool. The hotel was great, clean and never a shortage of clean towels and linens. fully equipped and look forward to staying here when visiting Paso Robles again soon.
CHARLES
Decent location, nice outdoor amenities. Restaurant on site but no free breakfast
Susan
Loved Everything
I loved everything about this hotel. The beds were comfortable, the pool was great, the salad I had in the bistro was well made and inexpensive, the bathroom was really nice, everything was perfectly clean, and Sophia at the front desk was an angel.
This was the last of a string of six different hotels we stayed at in two weeks. It was my favorite of all of them and I’m pretty picky.

I’ve stayed here many times. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable and rooms are always clean. I love the new bar area and outside accommodations as well!
Francie
The room the staff was excellent however we were part of a wedding party they feed the outdoors guests last so the food was cold no plates so guests ate off 3in paper plates but the overall stay was great
Karen
We had a very nice stay. Thank You!
Steven
Rates go from $165 to $440 Thursday to Friday for the same room. We would have otherwise stayed two nights.
H. Mark
The Front Desk Person, Gary, Went out of his way to make sure we got into our room propprerly after technical issues with the door opening mechanism.
Elisabeth
The hotel is nice and probably one of the nicest in Santa Cruz area. SC is a bit sketchy of a town but we still liked the beach, Mystery Spot, golfing and Solaire restaurant.
Jaime
We loved our stay! Great pool area
Pamela

We got a great deal online but the hotel was partially under construction. It was very clean except for some bird droppings near the hot tub which were disgusting.

Great stay for family trip
Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. The room looks like it was newly renovated and had modern decor.
The only complaint is wifi signal was weak in the room, but worked great in the lobby.
Front desk staffs were helpful and friendly

It was a lovely stay..

Construction still going on. We were told construction would end before our stay, but it was ongoing. That being said, the rooms were nice and clean, the staff was friendly. The construction didn’t ruin our stay, just had some amenities limited. We did receive complementary breakfast while we were there because of the construction, so that was a very kind gesture. The AC was a whole situation… You would get it set before you went to bed, then during the night it would do its own thing and we would wake up every night hot. But the city of Paso Robles was amazing, the wine country is breathtakingly beautiful… We would certainly stay here again.

Property under renovation with no notice

Undercontstruction
We love staying at Marriott but the only issue with this hotel is that it was undergoing construction. It didn’t look as nice walking through it. I would have a appreciated a discount or something due to the experience.
Arthur
Warm réception and thoughtful restaurant advice from the staff.
Racquel
It was a good location but the property is hnder renovation right now
Stephanie
Hotel is over going renovations
Hugo
Very noisy, the door did not lock. We had a sofa bed. No extra blankets.
Robert
As of 12/29/2024, this property is undergoing a big remodel. At 7:30AM I was woken up by the sound of power tools cutting through materials in the room above me or beside me. It was loud and continued for 1/2 hour. It’s completely unacceptable to be starting such work that early in the morning
Jamie
If not a Marriott member, parking is $10/day! Dropping $150 on a room plus any BS resort fees added should be enough to cover your damn parking lot. Pretty insulting.
Room was comfortable and quiet. Staff was very friendly.
