Beautiful property. Our room was very spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was great! We received a complimentary wine tasting voucher for their tasting room downtown which was a nice perk. The only thing I wish they had was a hot tub on site or a lounge pool. That would have been a nice addition.
David
Beautiful property. Very large and well-appointed guest rooms / restrooms. Staff was super friendly and professional. Included breakfast was a pleasant surprise. This was an awesome stay and tremendous value. Would stay here again in a second.
Deborah
Beautiful hidden gem perfect for couples. Gorgeous room and staff were fabulous. Quiet and romantic setting. We will be back.
Jasmin
Beautiful location. Our room was beautiful and the view to vineyards was great. Great staff. Would stay here again. Thank you to the staff.

We have been coming to Cali Paso Villas for 20 years celebrating birthdays & anniversaries. A little slice of Italy in the heart of the Paso. Tranquil & relaxing. Don't forget your bottle of favorite wine to enjoy on the patio. Can't wait for our next visit!
Richard
This was like a vacation home. The room was huge with a fireplace and a large bathroom with two sinks. We could sit at the balcony overlooking the vineyard sipping champagne. Generous complimentary breakfast also includes an egg station. Highly recommended!
Jo Anne
Beautiful!
Felt like I was in Italy.

Entering the villa was a bit confusing since the lobby isn’t located at the front. The place also felt very quiet—there were only two occupied rooms at the time, including ours. The water fountain wasn’t working, which added to the slightly empty atmosphere.
Once we entered the room, we were impressed by how spacious and beautiful it was.
The main reason I’m giving this a 3-star rating is the bed. Unfortunately, it was very uncomfortable—I could feel the springs all night and didn’t sleep well. The mattress definitely needs an update.
On a positive note, breakfast was excellent. They even have a chef who cooks eggs to order.

Attempted to contact staff numerous times prior to checking in, never received a call back or acknowledgement of messages left. The staff in the breakfast area was Awesome!

Breakfast was amazing and fresh .

When I booked this upscale hotel, it described the restaurant and amenities. The restaurant has been closed for 8 months and the property is remote…so no opportunity to have a restaurant, drink, food or anything after 10 am in the morning. If you want to have any of these…you have to get in your car and drive 4 miles…terrible. The front desk has no clue as well…such a disappointing experience
Kevin
The bed was horribly uncomfortable! My wife woke up in pain from the mattress being so hard. We might as well have slept on the floor. It was so bad we didn't stay the second night. When we ask to speak to the manager, she never called nor emailed like she promised!
Charlotte
The only item missing was a jacuzzi/hot tub.

This is an absolute gem of a property, just lovely. My friend and I felt like we were in Tuscany. We stayed in the Winemaker's Suite which was so luxurious with 2 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen and a living area, along with a patio. Our only (minor) complaint is that when we checked in we were just handed a room key with no other info about the property, room location, breakfast, etc. so we were asking a lot of questions. It would be great to have those details provided. There was also a special event on Saturday with a DJ that was quite loud. We may not have minded if we had been notified or invited. ;-) All in all though, just a gorgeous, peaceful place that I'd love to return to one day.
Terence
The room - incredible. the view from the Pinot Grigio room - phenomenal. the continental breakfast - really good. my only complaints is for the amount of money for the room, i would expect a way more comfortable bed and the lack of service - checkout is 11am; i went to the lobby office at 10:55am and no one was there. i wanted to purchase a bottle of wine i enjoyed the previous night but couldnt get in to the lobby to purchase. other than that, i think we'll try again.

The room was phenomenal. Loved the j as cuz I tub with the stained glass window above it. Loved sunrise over the vineyard from the balcony. Loved the decor. Loved the wood floors. Loved the wonderful woman who ran the breakfast room - what a delightful person.
Only thing I’d have liked would have been someone to speak with at check out anda chance to buy some wine. We left at 10:30am but no one was around in the office.
Will definitely go back. And the wine was very good - we ended up buying some in Solvang at their new tasting room there.

Wen
We occupied a huge villa. Feel like living in a castle!
Sylvia
Very private , clean and quiet.
Danielle
Breakfast was not good at all. Few options and those available didn’t taste good. Drip coffee out of a carafe. Seemed like a chore to staff to get syrup for the crepes. Several pincher bugs in the room. Front desk staff not cordial or helpful. All very surprising for a hotel at this price point. Room size was amazing but that was about it.
Peter
It’s a return trip for us. The winemakers residence is beautiful, relaxing, and wonderful for 4 people. Love the jcuzzi on the deck.

Our stay at CaliPaso was nothing short of spectacular! The villa’s large rooms, complete with a charming sitting area and jaw-dropping vineyard views, felt like a dream. The healthy breakfast was a highlight, packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Christina’s exceptional hospitality truly stood out—she kindly offered to pick up a birthday cake for my husband from a local bakery, and though the bakery couldn’t accommodate due to short notice, her effort and care made the experience unforgettable. CaliPaso’s warmth and beauty have us hooked for a return trip!
Aaron
We had a wonderful stay at CaliPaso. The actual property was even more appealing and beautiful than the photos portrayed, which was a wonderful surprise. The room was spacious and nicely decorated/designed, with a balcony that has a view of the vineyard...very pleasant all around. The property has a great deal of charm and is very well maintained with beautiful plants and vines. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was much better than anticipated. It was very quiet and relaxing. I would look forward to visiting again.
DENNIS

Exceeded expectations
What a special place. Photos online do not do it justice. Stayed in the Nebbiollo Suite, which was just amazing. The bathroom was huge! With only 8 suites and no event, it was really quiet and peaceful. The complimentary breakfast was great, with lots of options. Pancakes made upon request. Just a short drive into town.
Javier

This place is gorgeous, peaceful and worth every penny. The breakfast that is served is out of this world, I have never had such beautiful service for breakfast at hotel like this place. Incredibly impressed and we can't wait to come back

This place is a real gem! We felt like we were at an Italian Villa in Italy. The property is beautiful! Stunning views of the vineyard from our balcony. The size of our room outstanding. Very quiet & relaxing. The bed & pillows were very comfortable and the shower was perfect. The breakfast was a great start to our day with many options available. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. We will definitely return and recommend this place to our friends & family. Great winery location and compared to other winery stays the best value!

Very peaceful and unique

Beautiful winery. The room was amazing but housecleaning could be better. Spiderwebs on the outside of the windows and wine bottle left on the balcony from the previous occupants.

They accommodated our early check in since we're attending a wedding at San Luis Obispo. They let us checked in at 11am so that we could have time to prepare. Truly appreciate it!

Amazing spot!
Wonderful place, only lacking some form of resort water area like pool or hot tub- otherwise perfection at affordable price point.

“A Hidden Gem—Peaceful, Convenient & Delightful!”
This stay was an absolute dream! Perfectly tucked away in a quiet, serene location while still just minutes from the heart of downtown—truly the best of both worlds. The mattress was a bit firm for my preference, but that was a small trade-off for such a cozy and welcoming space. And the breakfast? Simply delicious—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the day. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful and wonderful except bed uncomfortable
The service and restaurants were phenomenal, beautiful setting, beautiful place. Only one complaint: the bed was so uncomfortable, the mattress way too soft and squishy.
Valerie
Beautiful land surrounding a lovely building. Delicious complementary buffet. Spacious nicely designed rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. So wonderfully quiet! We loved our stay!
Robert
Gorgeous location!
It's a gorgeous location. There's nothing like waking up in a vineyard. Breakfast is great. Our only issue was the heating system in our room. It worked fine, but every time it cycled, the start-up was startling. It would wake us out of a sound sleep.
Melessa
Brunch was amazing, lots of photo ops. Would love to visit again.
