The only criticism is the person in the room next to me was loud and woke me up at 4:30am. There was no phone in the room to call the front desk. Otherwise, everything was fine, I’d consider booking again!

It was a good location. That's why we chose it. But it was very \"bare bones.\" The soap/shampoo in the shower was awful. There was a smell of smoke even though I thought we had a non smoking room. And when we woke up there was no hot water. It was remedied after my husband went to speak to the front desk. I would say the bathroom.waa clean but the shower has mold in it.

Most things about the facility were good. For the price, the rooms were clean, quiet, and the air conditioning worked great. Unfortunately one of the two runes that we booked reeked of cigarette smoke and when we tried to go to the front desk to complain about it, person at the desk who may be the manager or owner, blew us off. He even went so far as to apply that it was our fault. It smelled that way because we had opened the windows to try and air it out

This is your run of the mill motel located near shopping and restaurants. 10 minute drive to Vina Robles Amphitheater and Sensoria. We were very comfortable there, room was basic. The only complaint we have is the dirtiness of the floors in our room. I was wearing white socks and after walking on the carpet or bathroom floor my socks were black. Are they not vacuuming or mopping? No idea. But it was gross.

We have stayed here before and were very happy with it. Clean, well lit room, nice bed and shower facilities. We bring a lot of our own meals with us and had plenty of space to put everything, tho a combo frig/freezer would have been better. Spacious, good storage, well laid out. Friendly staff. A few minor items- the toilet is very small and can be hard to get off of. The wifi has been improved, and works well- TV was easy to work and very intuitive. Not a lot of eateries in true walking distance, but plenty of options within a very short drive, also grocery store and Starbucks for the coffee addict. Excellent no-frills place for the budget conscience.

Parking was excellent. Got to park right in front of our room. I highly recommend Cielo. It’s off the beaten path but there is a convenience store directly across the street and f you don’t feel like driving into town for anything. Can’t say enough about it! Loved our stay there.

I arrived at 9:45 pm. There was no one around to check me in. I had to push the doorbell button 3x before someone came to the counter. She left and a gentleman came back. (The whole time I was waiting OUTSIDE of the building ... not in the lobby.) I was asked for my ID, and credit card. Through a round while in the glass, I was given a rolled up paper, and a pen to sign it with. Then I got my card & ID back along with the key to the room. (No instructions on where to go .. or even a Thank you.) Disappointing

I had an excellent stay at Cielo House Inn Paso Robles. The property itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. My room was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
What really stood out was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, making sure my experience was smooth from start to finish.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paso Robles. Five stars out of five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It is a classic roadside inn where you can stop for the night. You won't find a spa or a fancy lobby, but you also won't find any mystery stains or odd smells.
The room is clean and looks like it recently got a fresh coat of paint and new floors. It is the kind of place that knows its job: providing a bed that doesn't sag and a shower with actual water pressure. It is not a luxury resort, but it is a great spot to rest before you hit the road again.

This modest hotel has been nicely updated and still smells like new paint and plastic. The staff was very friendly and nice. The room and bathroom was very clean and updated as well as a good sized. The only other thing I can say though is the pillows need to be a bit newer and fluffier and they need new bathroom towels as they were dingy colored though clean. It would say it was excellent if those two things were fixed.

Great sleeping place for the price. Room was nice and clean with comfy bed and mini fridge. Shower didn't have much pressure and not really any place to put your shower items. I felt like I needed to bring a shower caddy to hang on the faucet. Wall unit was high on the ceiling hard to get to and read what buttons to push. Unit was also very loud waking you up in the middle of the night. The building is older so there's no noise insulation. Could hear the cars going down the road and anyone outside. Luckily I don't think we had any neighbors.

Cielo House is clean and comfortable, and provides convenient lodging at a price below other motels in Paso Robles. There are no frills, but my wife and I like this place, and will choose it again.

Incompetent and rude

Arrived with my hotels.com booking receipt and confirmation. They told me they didn’t have my reservation. They were rude and mean. Offered no help. Even after hotels.combagent called them to go over the confirmation they insisted it was not in the system and did not give me a room.

Friday night stay

Cielo House Inn was very comfortable and quiet place to stay. Staff there was friendly and accommodating to our needs. Will come back to stay.

Stayed 2 nights, bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Bathroom was small but functional also clean. Not much in the way of amenities and carpet needs to be thoroughly cleaned or even replaced. All in all a good stay and will go back.

This motel is a great value. Everything in the room is clean and comfy, even stylish. Coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. Excellent bedding and all cotton towels with housekeeping daily. The staff was helpful to us with checkin and getting extra coffee. Except for a pool and ice machine, there aren’t other amenities, not even a hair dryer. Easy to get to the town center and wineries from here. AC worked well.

A/C was turned off when it was 100 degrees outside. We had to wait 2 hrs before the room cooled to 75 degrees at 9pm.. management should consider keeping a window open or better ac system.

We didn’t even stay. We booked three nights and upon arrival found the location and the pool to be unsatisfactory. I immediately attempted to cancel. Even though we expected to lose one nights cost. The property never responded and claimed we were a no show. They kept all three nights I had paid. The property seemed clean but I would not stay there unless I could find no other room. Now that they stole our money I certainly wouldn’t recommend this business.
