Nobody even bothered to clean our room.

Everything was good, the pool, the breakfast, the check in
Patricia
We’ve stayed at this location before 2 years ago and the hotel was in much better shape than what it was this time around. Staff has always been friendly, but furniture was stained in the lobby and room. Breakfast wasn't the best either. Wish they would have had better oatmeal and more of a selection. The room said it slept 5 but there were only 2 beds so I’m not sure where the 5th would have slept. The couch was also stained. We asked for extra blankets and they gave us the thinnest things I have ever seen. Also those bathroom doors are not the best. They’re sliding doors and don’t lock. Hopefully they do a better job at maintaining the place clean because we really liked this hotel chain. We’ve stayed at the Monterey Bay location too and loved it.
Joseph
Nice restaurant on site
John
It’s a nice place, just ok breakfast, a good place to stay.
Rebecca
We truly enjoy this gem of a hotel! The coffee and breakfast is always a treat!
Beds are comfy too!
Beds are comfy too!
Anthony
Comfortable hotel. Good pool. Breakfast was ok. Room was advertised as for 5 people - if children are bigger it is tight sleeping space for 5
John
Everything was great except the breakfast. It is a chaotic free for all. Staff are doing their best but in such a confined space they can only do so much.
John
Staff need training, hotel needs fresh paint and carpet.

Well maintained, courteous staff, clean room, super comfy beds and so quiet because of the location. Great complimentary breakfast as well. Ordered a Paloma drink at the bar and that was excellent. Definitely worth it as every Marriott I’ve experienced.

Our entire party felt that our stay was great. Everything from arrival to departure, exclusive of a couple small items. We were a party of five and when the restroom or shower was in use, the glass doors lit up the entire room. Didn't have anywhere to hang up our wet towels at night so we hung them in our closet on clothing hangers. Other than Home Depot, you'd have to drive to anything else. We did have one mishap, we were locked out of our room for about an hour. However, the staff were extremely helpful as we waited for the engineer to repair the lock. We would recommend to others in addition to returning whrn in the area
Cameron
The hotel did not seem up kept. Ceiling was leak above the shower. Chair was old and beat up. Stain on the duvet and remote for tv was missing when we got there. Room had a bunch of other minor issues that showed it was not well maintained.
Jessica
Air Conditioner did not work. Room was 78 degrees all night. We asked for help with it, they did nothing but tell us to push buttons that didn’t work. Will not return.
Jin
The room I booked was changed at last minute. No apologies, just offered tiny discounts on the bar, which we didn’t use 🙂

Our stay was lovely until the morning we were checking out. I asked at the desk if a late checkout was possible. Front desk clerk politely said no it wasn’t so we proceeded on with our morning. I enjoyed a quick dip in the pool while my friend started loading up her car. We both ended up at the room door at the same time which was 20 minutes until 11 am (checkout time). Neither of our keys worked. Very inconvenient to have to go down and get new keys and it wasn’t even time to check out. And no, our keys were not next to our phones. Just a bit of a sour ending to an otherwise enjoyable stay.

From check in we were treated well. They gave us a bottle of wine for our anniversary. The room was very clean and the hotel was set up very nicely. The gym was excellent the pool was smaller than expected but still very nice my only suggestion for improvement would be the breakfast buffet.
Laurie
I was traveling alone and felt very comfortable here - very attractive and spacious. Breakfast was very good. Will stay here again for sure!!

A group of 12 booked this hotel 5 months ago; however, this hotel was hosting a car show and had the bar and restaurant closed down both Friday and Saturday nights. This was a huge inconvenience to our group as there are not any restaurants or tasting rooms that are in that area. I spoke to the hotel a couple of times during our booking process, and this could and should have been disclosed. For a 4-night stay, our rooms were only tended to one time. There was not a safe in the room, towel bars were falling off the wall, if the room had one at all. All of this may have been okay at a reduced rate; however, given it was a weekend, the rates were premium. All seemed to be below Marriotts standards.

Family suite has ample space for our family of 5. Included breakfast made the stay convenient.
Ling
We had a great breakfast.
Lynda
It was chaotic disturbing terrible service the food was awful.. the staff was rude disrespectful and very dismissive
Jonathan
This is an excellent hotel for the price. The common areas are well appointed, the rooms have good amenities, and the hotel location is convenient to Morro Bay, Cambria, and Hearst Castle.
Sharon
The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable.
Jarod
Overall great stay. For the area the price was very reasonable. The up-class facility felt like you were a VIP.
Gloria J
The room was very clean. The staff was helpful at the desk and room attendants. There was plenty of parking spots and they were not too close together.
Our stay was great! Lots of quiet.

Great location right off the freeway. Plenty of parking. Large rooms with plenty of storage and areas for work.
Cristobal
Encountered bait and switch. They changed room type when I arrived. It was not what I booked (prepaid) or wanted but what to do. WiFi was not working on the first day. Overall it’s not a bad place but I had issues, just fyi.
Kayla D
Its was fine. There was mokd on the shower liner so i dont think they clean those after every stay

Everything at the hotel was great. The door to the bathroom in our room was off the track and could hardly be moved to close it and the shower gel was completely empty. We notified the front desk and both of these 2 problems were immediately fixed. The room is very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and plenty of food. We will stay there again.

Breakfast is typical breakfast and good. We booked 2 of the 2-queen beds rooms and it is roomy which we like. The room carpet in one of our rooms is torn and seems dirty. The location is good as it is close to downtown where there are many restaurants to eat.
Bhaumik
Usual breakfast
No lock at bathroom, really stupid.

Natasha
Courteous stuff; spacious rooms, very clean. Nice bar/restaurant onsite.
Lorraine
The hotel was nice yet dated! The rooms had some needed repairs, the water pressure was weak. But the lobby, breakfast, bar, outside fire place were wonderful! The elevator went out twice, but easy access to the stairs. For the price I wanted the rooms to have a face-lift. Over all I would stay there again!
Barbara
Layout was in a cramped space
Room did not have sufficient supplies - tissues, toilet paper, towels. Lights by beds did not work. If hotel not full, would suggest spreading out guests so they are not door to door or above one another for noise purposes.
Screens on exercise equipment did not all work. Could not find remote to change channel on large tv in workout room.
My daughter was told she could not make pancakes at 9:20 am when the breakfast closed at 9:30.

AMANDA
The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The facilities are clean and warm and cozy but still modern and chic. The heated pool is PERFECT for cold months especially if you have kiddos who love to swim. We played cornhole on the grass in the morning and enjoyed the fire pit int he morning and evening. The gym was well equipped for my husband to get a good workout in before breakfast and the breakfast! Oh my gosh, the best hotel breakfast I have had all year. We travel frequently with my husband so I have stayed in a lovely variety of Marriott hotels and I must say so far this hotel has by far the best breakfast and cleanest breakfast area. We can't wait to book a longer stay here!

Great

I loved the giant oak tree I saw outside my window. The views of the hills green with winter verdure. Nice, friendly lobby, pleasant, well-laid out room. Didn't love having to compete with crowds of people for food at breakfast.
Mariela
It was great, we only stayed overnight due to travels. And it was good

Rebekah

Brenda
Very pleasant. Friendly staff, clean and welcoming environment, great food, reasonably priced easy access to Freeway and town. Overall a pleasant experience
PAUL
Didn’t like the room layout with toilet and sink in a separate room from shower. And the sliding doors for both rooms were heavy and difficult to slide
rosalie
Beautiful outdoor setting
Dianne
Clean room and building. Nice staff
Todd
This hotel is a little dated and not as nice or as comfortable as other SpringHill Suites that I have stayed at. But still good. Staff was friendly. Location is right off the highway and a quick drive to places in/around Atascadero, Templeton, Paso, etc.
