I loved how spacious and comfortable my room was with its wonderful shower/jacuzzi tub! But the fondest memory I will have of my stay at Cayucos Sunset Inn were the mornings I had breakfast in the cozy decorative parlor with my 6-year old grandson...and being served by vivacious & engaging Gretchen, who enlightened us about objects my grandson was curious about...while delivering such delicious meals from the inn's fantastic cook. Their morning muffins were amazingly good along with the hot chocolate and hot teas! Oh...and what a delight to see (and eat) the freshly baked cookies hanging in a special bag on my door each evening!!! I can't wait to return... hopefully soon!

This quaint Bed & Breakfast was a good choice. The rooms are huge and have balcony’s looking out at the ocean. They offer breakfast different selections to be cooked for you. The Friatta is amazing. You even get freshly baked warm cookies at night. Gretchen one of the hosts was nice and told us ALL the good places to eat. Even the taco truck 1 block away which was delicious. We can’t wait to be back.

Awesome and unique property. Great staff, great food. This could have the best stay ever but we ran into one issue. I chose this specific location do to it having a/c in the room. After check in we dropped off our stuff and went to enjoy the town when we got back we turned on the a/c and it did not work. Since staff left at 8pm we were forced to open the windows to stay cool and we didnt feel safe.Had the a/c worked, there would be zero complaints. Breakfast and service was excellent.

A decent property reasonably well appointed. I think we were the only people staying in the place at the time. That's our only issue. We apparently got lucky enough to rent the only room next to the dining room and the highway. Since the place was empty, they really should have moved our room since of course they know we're quiet is and we do not.
Would probably stay there again, most of the places in cayucos are not very well appointed. We have family in town, and so are quite familiar with the area.

The decor and furnishings are clearly a labor of love here. You can see the vision and care of this inn's creator everywhere including lush flower beds in front of the building. This is a really romantic getaway with the sparkling clean jetted tub and wine and cheese plates available in the afternoon. The town is charming too with locals fishing off the pier at sunset and teenagers daring each other to jump off the pier. Breakfast was beautifully presented and all the staff were super friendly. This place is a gem!

This was the perfect weekend getaway spot for us. The service was amazing, they even baked fresh cookies and delivered them to your room nightly. The room was spacious with a refrigerator and your very own RO water supply! Now that's an amenity you don't get anywhere else I've stayed. So very clean and located in the heart of Cayucos!
