This is a classic sea cottage disguised as a motel. If you're looking for the Marriott, this isn't it. What this is; is a clean, quiet, comfortable throwback that's been nicely renovated. I stayed for three nights with someone in the next room so three nights and never heard a sound. An added perk, I was able to find a covered parking place each night. I had a perfect stay at an incredible price.

The downside is that the office was closed a lot of the time so when we needed something I needed to text them and wait for them to come to the property. They were very helpful when asked though. Also, I thought breakfast was included in the stay, which is a big reason I chose this place. When we checked in we were told breakfast was no longer served here.

Upon check in, we were informed that they no longer serve breakfast. A big reason to pick that particular hotel. They said they changed their website, but Hotels.com has not updated the information. We were very disappointed that this was not communicated by them or Hotels.com. It added significant to our travel budget.

Nice and quiet location within walking distance (3 blks) of Morro Bay. It’s an older property that have been renovated, so our room was clean and modern. Just wished there were more power plugs. Suggestion: swap out the current receptacle for a multi-port one so guests can use it for their chargers. :)

Cute beach bungalow close to everything downtown and the Embarcadero. Room was clean and cozy. Breakfast delivered to the room was excellent. There were people that were loud out by the fire pit late at night, but we would definitely come back.

This motel is in a nice convenient area for easy access to the waterfront and Morro Rock. We stayed in a deluxe king room which had ample room for a couple. I liked the fact that it had a small refrigerator that had a separate freezer area. I wish that they would leave a few extra towels in the room, instead of having to ask for them. We had to ask for a bath mat, there was not one in the room. The bed was not comfortable. The coffee in the room was really good, but the coffee maker took over 30 minutes to brew 2 cups. It was nice to have breakfast delivered to the room.

If you are looking for a hotel with an upscale lobby with an elegantly appointed room, you probably won't appreciate this motel. It is a charming, quaint throwback to another era where you park your car and walk directly into the room from the parking lot. We were in the Pacific room which is a family suite with two bedrooms. The suite was clean with two chairs to sit in, a small refrigerator, coffee pot and supplies, and a safe. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was larger with shelving to place toiletries and other items. The gas fireplace and heating worked well. Breakfast was good with omelette and Musli options. We would stay there again.

The owners obviously take pride in this property. We found it attractively furnished and had everything we need for a comfortable stay, the breakfast were excellent-offered two choices. We tried both and they were both very good. Staff is very friendly. We had to leave very early on our last day and the staff delivered a takeout breakfast. Although the outside looks very 50’s the insides are very up to date. Having breakfast served to your room every morning was special. Everyone on staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was the shower floor, it was very rough on my feet. I would definitely recommend!!
