Good location, within walking distance to the waterfront. For the lowest priced option in the travel apps, the rooms were clean, practical, not too dated, and felt safe. Our second floor room had a view of Morro Rock. Ample parking too. The walls are thin though...chatter in the hallway and adjacent room can be heard.

This is my go to place to stay when visiting MB. I have pretty bad OCD with cleanliness being the most important. This place is ALWAYS super clean, the staff is so friendly that i came through at 4am once and they helped me find a spot to park and everything. Would 10/10 recommend!

My only complaint was that my key didn’t work halfway through the stay, and after carrying a sleeping toddler upstairs, I had to go back downstairs to get it reactivated again. Other than that, it was a perfect stay on a very busy weekend. Highly recommended!

The view of the rock is amazing and the rooms are clean and comfortable. If you have a disability make sure you let them know ahead of time so you get a ground room there are only a few rooms. Close to restaurants and shops. The Friendly Fisherman has great food next door!

Limited Parking with no other accommodations. We were accused of having pets because of a noise complaint which was the creaking floors that were close to collapsing. The mini fridge was noisy all night. We didnt have hot water and when we called they were short and hung up with no explanation or expectation. I waled to desk and when I asked about the hot water I was told to \"calm down\" which i was very calm.
I will never stay here again. Jerks

Good location but the bathtub was missing a spout. Wanted to take a bath after fishing all day. The shower had a low flow nossle so if I tried to fill the tub, the hot water would be cold by the time the tub was filled. The bathroom was very small. It was very difficult to understand the office personnel due to a heavy accent.

So my partner and i are 60 and 62,when we went in to get key the man was a little rude and he said in a bold voice NO DRINKING ,NO SMOKING AND NOT TO BE LOUD we told him we dont smoke or drink smiled and took our key but he did hand us a bottle of water. Room was nice and clean i think we were the first people there i think it was nice and quite.10pm came and a van comes and parks in front of our room blasting his horn and bunch of guys went up load cussing slaming around sounded like they where fighting it was bad. I called front desk told him there where guys fighting upstairs sounded like they were killing each other. He mumbled somthing and hung up. So we realized they where doing work in the room upstaires. It stayed that way until 2 am. So that was pretty bad in the morning they came at 6am and i guess finished oh about 9am. I told woman in office she said they should have not been there but we where polite with each other came back to room later and the night was great a few young people came in some normal going out noise but thats normal too be expected. The night before was un called for . The thing is i would stay again as long as we would not have to go though a night like that again. Thank you for listening

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was no hot water. We got up around 9 and the shower was barely Luke warm. Not my favorite way to start the day. Other than that the property was clean and really convenient walking distance from our event venue. Staff was very friendly and overall it was an enjoyable stay.

This road side motel appears to be recently renovated. The check in and desk clerk was friendly and the process went smoothly. The hotel was a few blocks from Main Street and the water front area. Not bad for a long walk. The room was clean and well done. We noticed the traffic at the nearby intersection was a bit loud and could be heard throughout the stay.
Overall was a nice place for one night to see the town.

I loved the spacious room, comfy beds, and that the toilet and shower were in a separate room from the sink area. The sink was located in the dressing area and the counter ran the Lennart of the wall which was great to have so much space for our toiletries. Along with glasses and ice bucket the owners provided individually sealed toothbrushes just in case you forgot your own which was a sweet touch, I've never seen that thoughtfulness elsewhere. Plenty of full size towels, i saw a comment on towels from someone and I'm not sure how many towels they think they need, but everything was clean and the same amount as other hotels would provide. Location is great, Morro Rock is straight down the street and there's a great restaurant right next door to the inn. The owner was very friendly and helpful, i will stay here again!

Nice inexpensive motel for a Morro Bay getaway. 2 person table in the room along with refrigerator and microwave (not included in the description!).

Note parking on property is somewhat limited, parking has a height limit of 9'-6\" for most spaces. Street parking is adjacent and pretty abundant, which is what I opted for.

Our room was a little outdated but not bad at all. We did have an ocean view. It was very quiet. Our AC didn’t work well and I told the owner in the morning. He checked on it immediately and apologized for its malfunction.
The bed was comfy and we had a nice size fridge.
Parking was a bit tight as we have a bigger truck but the owner allowed us to park in front of the office.

We arrived after 10pm and they kindly checked us in. The view from our room looked directly (and clearly) on the Morro Rock (from a distance). We were enjoying so much we barely checked out in time. The room was clean and much nicer than even I thought it would be. Didn't get to use the wifi.

I can highly recommend the Morro Bay Beach Inn for a short term visit to the Central Coast. The property needs some minor tweaks, but on a whole this property provides good value. I found the shower to be exceptional and the staff to be incredibly accommodating.

Very accommodating and friendly staff as we were able to check in early. Room was clean and comfortable, and had mini fridge/microwave/coffee available. Parking was tight and some noise at night, but that was to be expected and didn’t bother us. Perfect for our one night stay.

The room was great. The parking however was not. At check-in we had a spot but returning after our concert there were none. Red curbs up and down the street made it almost impossible to find a spot close to the property. They don’t check license plates a check-in so good luck if you get to your room later in the evening.

They could invest in some nicer bed linens that are not scratchy and old, it was clean but the decor was very outdated for the price. The rooms are small. The mattress was tolerable, but again either old or cheaper quality. Not much insulation in walls, it was noisy with kids running up/downstairs. Good question would be what were the parents doing? Nothing
This property would have more appeal with some much needed upgrades for interior decor/fresh paint, etc.

Morro Bay Beach Inn had positive and negative aspects. The staff was very welcoming and the room was fine for the one night my daughter and I stayed. The location was good as it was only blocks away from the water and you could see Morro Rock from the property. The negative aspects to the property was that it was extremely loud and you could hear everyone’s conversation. I was woken up multiple times until about 3 in the morning from people’s conversations, slamming of doors, and walking above us. The second challenge was parking. There is just barely enough spots in their parking lot, so if there is more than one car in your party to stay there will not be enough spaces for everyone to stay. My daughter and I got back from dinner at 9pm and there was only one spot left to park. Lastly, the parking spaces are extremely small and tight so if you have a bigger SUV as I do you will barely fit. When my daughter and I returned from dinner I was barely able to fit our SUV in the one space available and we had to climb out of the back in order to get out of the car, definitely intense! To sum things up, if you are staying for more than 1 night I would stay elsewhere.
