The property is very dated. The king sized bed needs to be replaced. It dips and has no comfort. There wasn’t a sink stopper. The door trim was scratched down to the raw wood by dog claws. Only overhead light in main room. Soiled upholstery on chair cushions. Water leaking from shower nozzle. No amenities provided. This guest will not stay there again. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful for directions. Towels were nice.
Luz
Easy check in ,clean room, friendly staff
Carmen
This hotel was decent . Room was clean but outdated could use newer furniture. Beds were comfortable and pillows. Felt safe around the area. They had some fast food restaurants in walking distance and downtown San Luis Obispo was near by too. Had a pool but did not use because it was not that hot. Recommend for a quick stay.
Mia
Clean. Close to SLO campus

The only complaint I had was the price
$400 was to much

Comfortable room, everything is very clean and in working condition. Exterior had seen better days, but interiors are in a verybgood condition.
Teri
There was a fridge & microwave in the room, but no coffee maker. No hand soap. provided for the bathroom sink. The shampoo/conditioner container was completely empty. Old, outdated bedspreads.
On the positive side, the wood floors looked new and also nice wood shutters.

With decent walking distance to the train station and downtown. Helpful staff. Need to have coffee maker and hot water maker in the room.
Kyle
Workers were really nice and welcoming. The room was nice. Property was okay-maintained. Some positives is that there are lot of food places near the hotel, right next to 101 freeway and close to downtown. Neighborhood is okay but you still feel fairly safe. Beds were good and bathroom. A solid 6.5/10.
arturo
Its was ok cant complain
Lorenz
The beds and pillows were awful. The AC unit was incredibly loud turning on and off all night (it was either that or sleep hot). The shower and sink didn’t drain and the shower squealed the whole time while using it. The shutters did not block out the light from the hallway, and there were not curtains. The room smelled like musty laundry.
Tim
The staff was very welcoming. The room needed some cosmetic work, but did the trick. This time around it was quiet.
Jose
Place is old. Very clean room.
Kirsting
I truly loved the room the bed was comfortable it was in a great location. The gentleman at the front desk was always polite. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a decent priced well kept hotel.
John
The room was clean. Had a pretty quiet night, just a couple of car alarms went off. Had to park out on the street because the lot was full. Nothing bad, nothing great, just OK for the price
Bang Lang
Clean room and we checked in near midnight and the clerk answered the bell; everything was quick.
Abril
The staff were excellent! The room was decent, do not expect anything modern or over-the-top. But provided everything and was comfortable for two people (we had a 1king bed room).
There were some issues at check-in (which were entirely my own fault) that the staff were very patient and flexible with. Props to them.
The area surrounding the Inn is filled with run-down inns or motels, but the block itself is 2 exits away from downtown or any convenient store. Again, overall 5 stars because you get exactly what you pay for, and nothing less.

No complaints here. Clean room. Huge shower. Had extra pillows and towels already in the room ready to grab.

There was a chair in the swimming pool for a couple days. I didn't feel like I could swim in the pool.

Our room looked like the fire sprinklers had gone off and everything was just painted over. While taking shower I thought the handles would for sure fall I ff in my hand.

Ok place
The hotel is kind of rundown. There is a lot of homeless people that live in the area. The room itself was clean. They didn’t offer much for TV. A lot of leaking air conditioners. There was a homeless in Camp right behind the building. I was staying in so I was a little nervous about my car being in the parking lot although it is lit up like Fort Knox at night. If you’re just looking for a place to stay quick one night it’s doable but could use some cleaning and upgrading. I found the sign to enter The pool was quite funny.
Justin
Room was clean. Kinda outdated.
Asked for extra pillow. Denied. Was like staying at a Motel 6 or Super 8. Felt safe though. Staff was nice.

The owner was friendly and accommodating. The facility is old, but inside it is reasonable. There was some noise at night from the freeway and also from homeless people who seem to

Dingy and poorly maintained
The photos tell the story, this is not a well maintained property.
Monica
The hotel was comfortable and quiet just enough parking for every visitor.
Catherine
Overall would not recommend this place for the money.
Rosielinda
We needed a place last minute, for 5 people, and this place was perfect. Clean, spacious, quick check in, convenient, and room for everyone!
Mike
Very clean
Brooke
The lampshade was ripped and stained, the bedframe was broken with handprints on it.
Cheryl
Clean and within walking distance of street fair
Nora
Great property and stay — only complaint was that the TV guide did not work and the phone did not connect to any dialing tone. Disappointing.
Stephanie
Clean and spacious
brandon
Poor condition room, dirty and unfriendly staff.
Price is affordable but bed was decent but do yourself a favor and stay at the local motel 6 if on a budget.

The room was clean. The shower and tub faucets need tightening (Rm 202)

Cool cheap place not fancy but a overall good place
Bridget
Convenient, clean, friendly staff. Nice family room with three beds! Slept really well
Le
For the price, this motel is not a good deal.
Jim
The exterior is a bit run down, but the room was clean, in good shape, and looked like it may have been renovated not long ago. The staff was very nice and helpful. It's on Highway 1 and close to downtown SLO.
Jesse
The room was ok, everything seemed somewhat clean. Some issues I noticed were the sink was slow, water would hardly drain. And the bed sheets didn’t seem clean at all, there appeared to be hairs between every layer. It wasn’t the worst but I probably won’t stay here again.
Sandra
It was very close to the university and good price.
ANNIKA
Nice and clean
Michael
The rooms were updated nicely, but, the wall heater/ac unit was still a refugee from the 1960's. The baseboards had some staining. The largish window in the shower was clear glass. Otherwise, the parking lot between the actual rooms and Santa Rosa Rd helped keep the road noise down considerably.
LINH
The AC is so noisy but bath room is clean!
Shiva
Complicated with the key
Shannon
The staff was friendly and efficient. The room may have been the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in at any level. It isn’t luxurious, but it is tidy and comfortable. Only critique would be to change the soap/shampoo in the bathroom as mine had started to separate. It was not a big deal at all, though. I would definitely stay again and advise anyone else looking for a reasonably priced, clean and safe place to stay near Cal Poly to considered giving it a shot.
Cheryl
Good value for the price paid
Pleasantly surprised. Good value for the money. It was quiet. Bed was very comfortable. There was easy access to downtown and easy on/off to the freeway.
Maria Nympha
Great quality for the rate
Loretta
It's a small quaint place. It appears they're working on touching up the place and the rooms. My son who is always nervous about staying at hotel/motel; he was relaxed and was not so anxious. The pool is very small. We didn't get a chance to use the pool with our schedule. The pool and the area around it was clean.
John
Awesome place to stay especially for the price! Arrived super early and the front desk lady let me check-in at 12:30. She was extremely nice!!! It’s an older hotel with renovations being done. I stayed in room 216, very updated with nice flooring in bed and bath area. Mini fridge, microwave and a newer television in the room. Beds were comfortable, water pressure in the shower was awesome. 9 miles from Pismo and 15 from Morro. Restaurants within walking distance from hotel. It is by the freeway, so some road noises which didn’t bother me. Felt like a safe area. I would definitely stay here again!
Michael
Perfect for a quick night sleep. Easy access, good parking. Shiny clean bathroom, spacious room, quiet.
Katherine
Def ignore the low star ratings lol this hotel is very clean, friendly staff, easy check in and cozy for its low price.

They were super awesome and let us check in 2 hours early cuz we got there early The room was huge and nice The only thing bad was the air conditioning did not work at all
Armando
Will stay here again! Nice motel.
This was the first time I had stayed here, and I was very pleased, overall. It’s apparent that they have been making upgrades to the rooms and to the property. I’ll definitely stay here again. The location is very convenient, but is right next to the freeway, so there is some traffic noise throughout the night. Family friendly, and great for the budget conscious.
Quan
Property finally fixed it up. It’s very nice. The room is very clean and comfortable but parking to close to room and you can hear outside noise all day and night.
Joseph
Great value
Nice people they are respectful and reasonably priced. Motel 6 isnt as clean or as \"homey\" convenient restaurants on every corner a gas station near by.
James
I booked this room due to a low price I saw on Expedia and the room was noisy, next to the freeway, the bed was soft so my back hurt, no coffee pot in the room or iron. I reserved and it was one price and my bill showed another price. It was almost double what it said when I booked the room and there was a property fee. I don't know what that was for, not to heat the cold pool.
Patricia
A/C only blew air not cool air. Goodwill furniture. Cracked sink. Drywall exposed. Wi-Fi had one bar . Maybe “borrowing” the signal from another business? Overall poor BUT would be reasonable and I could deal with it better if they were not charging 4 star prices.
David
Checking in takes place through a small window even though there's a lobby available. No coffee. Property was very well maintained and pool was clean.
Luis Alberto
Friendly staff. Very clean and quiet

The room was hot when we entered it. It took awhile for the air conditioner to cool it off. It took awhile to tell if the refrigerator was working.

My friend and I went for a one-night visit. the room was quite clean, and we were allowed to check in about an hour early because we had to be somewhere that afternoon and had to get ready after a long drive. The beds were very comfortable as well as having clean sheets. I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area.

Black Mold
There was black mold in the bathroom, dirty floors that left our bare feet black, and white molding around the room that was grey and black with dirt. The bathroom sink was cracked and dirty. I would rather camp in my car than stay here again. One positive- I checked the sheets, and they were clean.

Good location, nice people but a very tired motel.
Fair.
Bathroom light/fan didn't work ½ the time. Soap dispenser in the shower broken.
Good location. Couldn't figure out the plastic bag over the smoke detector. The room had probably the worst paint job ever.
The proprietors were nice enough but the outdated COVID policies were inconsistent. (ie, no room cleaning unless requested...but room was cleaned anyway?)

Room had defects, not a good value
The room had multiple defects (I.e. soap dispenser not working, no lotion, missing cap in bath).
I also tried to change my stay before the cancellation policy, the hotel acknowledged it was changed via message, then when I show up to the property they said I had to pay per my original reservation, with zero understanding.

LA SHON
Was better and bigger than I expected. The king size bed and pillows were super comfy. The hotel room was bigger than most- had a small table and 2 chairs. The air conditioner was also a hit.

Super nice owners. Simple hotel but safe and clean.

It was awful. WiFi didn’t work. Bed was lumpy. It was dirty. Paint chipped everywhere. Bulbs were burned out. The whole place was shabby. I paid $208 for one night.

Never again
What is the point of posting the price of the hotel if the hotel can just add some large amount as a \"hotel fee\" and hotels.com does nothing about this? The room was awful: bad plugs, hair dryer just a decoration, no breakfast, expensive as hell. Never again.
