JORGE
Great stay at this Hotel, complimentary breakfast was good, the only negative is the $15 parking fee per night
Gabriel
Clean rooms really nice outside pool with umbrellas and chairs. Nice bar.
Eric
Our experience here was great! Staff was friendly, place was very clean and the rooms were perfect for our family of 4. Beds were a little firm for our liking and seemed more like full size than queens. But the location was great and the overall stay meet our needs. We will be back again!
Djohari
Conveniently located by the food court/food hall, with pool and fire pits and bar downstairs. Descent daily breakfast. There was just one day when were there, a big group was being too loud with music almost the entire day at the pit area. Wish the management/security would stop them especially after 8-9pm when few of us need sleep.
Virginia
This was our second stay here in 3 months, and it will continue to be a hotel of choice when going to SLO. The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance to great spots to grab a quick meal. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful, from the bartender to the front desk to the maintenance workers. The lobby and bar are set up perfectly for spending time with friends (perfect for groups traveling together, as we have both times we've visited). The room itself is roomy and well-maintained. Also, it's pet-friendly with many cute pups staying there (a plus for us, and it worked well to bring our furry friends along). We'll be back!
Gerardo
All was great!
Vanessa
Great place to travel with our family of 4 plus 1 grandparent in our 2 queen bed + 1 sofa bed + 1 bath. Included buffet breakfast was simple but tasty. Kids loved the pool, but it was not heated to our liking for typical “June Gloom” days in SLO county and tough without a hot tub onsite at the pool. Dad had to rush our freezing toddler up to the hotel room to warm up in a hot shower. Everything about the bar and outdoor fire pits were friendly and inviting. The next door petting zoo and local farm market store (not farmer’s market) were a nice treat for grandpa to take the toddler and tween to for entertainment while we had a little business to conduct in morning. Centrally located for our business needs in both Morro Bay and Grover Beach.
Danette
This is a very nice, clean property conveniently located next to SLO Ranch, which offers a great selection of food and a brewery. There is plenty of pleasant outdoor seating available as well. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was decent—nothing exceptional, but it provided enough variety to satisfy everyone's preferences.
ANNE
Great hotel. Clean, and friendly staff. Breakfast was just Ok. Not very healthy.

Friendly Staff!

**Pros:**
* Desk staff and manager were consistently helpful, respectful, and quick to assist.
* Hotel appeared clean and mostly well maintained inside and out.
* Adjustable in-room thermostat meant no loud AC cycling at night.
* Convenient location near the freeway, stores, and restaurants.
* Blackout curtains and mini fridge were useful.
* Large parking lot made parking easy.
**Cons:**
* Expedia did not clearly disclose the $15/night parking fee.
* No bathroom fan, which made restroom use uncomfortable.
* Complimentary breakfast was extremely disappointing: food seemed undercooked and bland, and two people in our group felt queasy after eating the sausage. After the first morning, we avoided all hotel food, and opted to eat elsewhere.
* Despite booking for four guests, we repeatedly received only three towels and had to request extras.
* Shower leaked badly each use, soaking the bathroom floor. From continued leaking you can tell this cause wall damage and damaged the grout and raised tile piece (added images) which also caused me to stub and cut my toe.
* Beds and pillows were uncomfortable for all four guests; my husband slept on the couch because it was more comfortable than the bed (this was just more of preference though).
While the staff handled concerns professionally, the comfort and maintenance issues did not match the cost of the stay.

Clean room, nice fire pits. If you have an electric vehicle, there is plenty of parking right at the front door (30 spaces). However, if you drive a nasty gas burner, you have to park farther away and walk past the approximately 30 (mostly empty) spaces.
Peter
The building and room were very clean, updated, and nice. Nice interiors and furniture. Comfortable beds. Spacious room. The sofa was nice. Good location. A lot of parking space. Nice sitting area and pool in the courtyard. Decent free breakfast. Decent coffee.
Improvements needed:
- Breakfast needs a bit more fresh fruits.
- the shower screen was leaking a lot of water to the floor outside. It needs to be better sealed.
- Toilet paper was so thin and cheap. They should use better quality.
- The location of the bathroom in the room is in the middle. It's a bit awkward.
- The barn door for the bathroom doesn't block out any sound from inside or outside.
- The shower screen is totally transparent, so it's very awkward and embarrassing for other family members to be using the bath or sink while someone showers.

Staff were efficient and professional. Room was clean and quiet. Ordered a light dinner from the bar and they prepared something that was not on the menu, but better suited my appetite. After showering, somehow a pool of water appeared near the entrance to the bathroom. I used the bathmat to sop it up.
emily
Great stay while on a college tour for my eldest and my middle kiddo. Room was great. The gym facilities were great and the breakfast was also fantastic. We made sure to check out the cute food market next door but it was a little too late in the evening. Great stay and would come again!
hye young
Great, clean, convenient property with electric charging stations in parking lot.

Claudia
A beautiful hotel with comfortable beds and well-appointed rooms. Unfortunately, a persistent loud vibrating noise made sleeping difficult. The complimentary breakfast was decent, though the quality of the equipment (notably the toasters) didn't quite match the hotel's overall standard. The location, however, is truly excellent

The facility is on the new side and in good shape. Enjoyed our time around the pool and fire tables. The breakfasts were plentiful and easy self-serve. The Front Desk Manager Shashar was ability to help us with an in-between room cleaning and my Dog had a great time.

Staff members and location are great! Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and super clean. The only two minor downsides were that there is no spa and they didn’t have flavored coffee creamers for breakfast.
Valerie
Great Hotel, highly recommend, clean rooms, beds, breakfast was good, options were ok.
Sherie
Wonderful rooms and marvelous outdoor swimming pool. So sad that the breakfast falls short as compared to other hotels.

Spotless rooms, excellent location, walking from restaurants and brewery, minutes away from downtown. Staff was extremely friendly
Lucinda
Room was very clean, very new. Pool was extremely noisy due to 10 curfew. There were approximately 15 kids in the pool playing water polo from 6-9:30pm yelling their heads off like a bunch of footballers on steroids. I have no idea where there parents were. I called the front desk and they apologized and said yes, they were extremely loud as the kids could be heard all over the hotel but they were not authorized to ask them to be quiet. It was hard to relax.

Hotel, modern and clean. Great lobby area for gathering or for chilling with a book.

Clean room/lobby/gym. Very helpful staff.
Josh
Beautiful, clean hotel and room. There is nothing negative about this hotel. Loved everything about it.
Chanda
We had a pleasant stay at Spring Hill Suites. The staff there were very nice. The room was spacious and very clean. We were of walking distance to shops and only a 7 minute drive to downtown area. We also appreciated the complimentary breakfast buffet. If there’s an opportunity to go back to SLO we would definitely stay there again.

Unexpected airport noise , bottom floor is very noisy. The breakfast is included but the food is not very good.
On a positive note, the hotel is new and very clean.

The reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is because the room was noisy. The bathroom ventilation fan which is outside the room is loud and on all the time. I had to sleep with ear plugs. The engineer explained there is no way to turn that off because that is main ventilation for the roll of rooms in that floor.
Omar
Clean room nice staff

It is ridiculous to have to pay for parking. This is not a big city like LA or San Francisco where space and parking is limited.
I will definitely think twice about staying here again.

Room was great, staff were courteous, and service was awesome. My only complaint is considering other hotels in the per night cost; the bfast is really bad.
Tom
Room was fair. Watch out for the hidden daily parking fee!!!

One of the best stays we’ve ever had. Excellent service, facilities, large pool. Location was great. Thanksgiving pre-fixed menu was amazing. Newer hotel that opened just several months ago. Definitely coming back!
