This is probably the one of the worst hotels that I've stayed in in California I'm truly ashamed that expedian represented themselves to offer this as one of their hotels the star rating that was on it is not true it is horrible beds were like so worn out it was Unreal holes in the wall body hair all over the walls and ceilings never again will I stay at this hotel shame on you expedient for offering this

The room was dirty and smelled musty. The bath/shower drainage was awful. Called to see if we could get another room but were told they had none. I tried to call around in other areas, and the rooms rates were extremely high. I cleaned the room the best that I could, and when I left, I left it cleaner than what I received. No one monitored the pool. So people had chips sandwiches and everything around the pool as if it was there own pool and spa . The same people had ababy crying its eyes out for his mother in the spa and it turns out the baby had pooped its diaper while in the spa. We immediately got out & went back to our room and took showers.It won’t be staying here again.

This was a horrible experience. If you like the smell of urine, then this is the right place. As soon as you check in, the odor is pungent. If you try to get a refund, good luck. They act ignorant and don’t answer their phone or give a refund when you decide to cancel. The carpet is a tripping hazard and the pictures are false advertisement and heavily filtered. I DO NOT recommend.

There was a gas smell in my room emanating from the other room..
This smell has been prevalent in affordable hotel rooms.. the smell is noxious and intoxicating.. it fouled with my nerves and gastrointestinal.. I was to fearful it was an occupant cooking drugs..
The smell was most prominent in the early morning hours.. never again. I’ve encountered a similar smell and it’s aggravating.. it was not the room..

Overall it was a great experience, the hotel room was really nice and spacious. The bathroom and bedroom were very clean. They provide you with shampoo and bath gel for the shower. The bed was super comfortable and so were the pillows. I loved having the full length mirror that lit up. I'll definitely be back.

I stayed there for two nights and on the second night found a mouse crawling around the dresser area. This was at 1:00 in the morning and when I packed my bags and told the front management that I wanted a refund for that night he said that he would not be able to do it and he would have to ask his manager. I have yet to get a call from the manager. I even have a video of the mouse.

The hotel was clean. My only complaint was that their key cards do not work well. I could not get into my room on two separate occasions and had to go back to the front office to get new key cards. I saw other people at the hotel struggle to open the doors outside the hotel with their key cards. This hotel needs to improve their key cards.

checked in and out on the same day Sat 5/16/2026. Homeless people going through the trash cans and hanging in the parking lot. Terrible place, looks NOTHING like the pictures online. Gross dirty rooms, even found a used large hair clip on the counter from the pervious guest. The floors were not vacuumed and filthy, mold and stains everywhere. The patio door not sealed at all. Very sketchy and not safe. I immediately checked out within 3 minutes of checking in and stayed at the brand new Hampton Inn down the street. The owner was a horrible human and would not refund my money even when I showed him pictures and he acknowledged it was dirty. Shady and sketchy place.

I never write reviews ever, but when I tell you this was the most sketch hotel I’ve stayed in before. Don’t let the pictures fool you, the room baseboard was super dirty. The bedsheets had dark spots on them and were dirty. The worst part was seeing a bug run from underneath the bed behind the counter. I didn’t read the reviews before I got the hotel which I totally regret because I saw people leave reviews after and even said they saw roaches before. It was disappointing that I couldn’t get a refund, once I saw that bug I packed my stuff and slept in my truck at least I knew it was more clean in there. Also saw what looks like bullet holes in the wall. PLZ AVOID THIS PLACE

The good: very nice outdoor hot tub with waterfall feature. Very comvenient location next to 101. Quick and professional check in.

The bad: this place is old, run down, and need of lots of repair. There was a leak from the room above over our shower, with a great deal of water damage in the ceiling. Furniture was old. Fixtures including light switches and wall paneling were loose. Mattresses were of very poor quality and felt like a bag loose bag of springs. Would not recommend.

Rooms had zero noise isolation, and you could hear everyone in the hallway. It was difficult to get a good night's rest. The vending machine was not working. Although not dirty, it felt as if the room had seen many visitors. The sheets were old. Overall, we paid under $100 for a king bed, so we can't expect too much. For the price, it was a correct room if you are not picky.

It was so refreshing to find this place after a previous booking on Expedia(which we ended up cancelling) due to several issues, 1st one being cleanliness. This place was the opposite, very clean, spacious and no foul odours. The host behind the desk was kind and helpful. My only complaint was the overwhelming smell of perfume/chemical scent in the lobby area.

I don't like writing bad reviews, but now I have to. The hotel is small and cozy. There was a mountain view and a cozy spot in the pool area, but the large pool isn't heated and was very cold (we were there in March). The bed linen was very washed out, gray (instead of white), and unpleasant. There was a terrible smell throughout the entire hotel. The carpet on the stairs was very old and dirty. This Нotel can only be recommended for people with low incomes.

This hotel was in a nice location not far from anything. The room was newly renovated and felt comfortable and clean.

The only issues we had was the key card wouldn’t allow us into the hotel, then it wouldn’t allow us into our room, which was a bit frustrating, hopefully they fixed it by now.

The room not cleaned appropriately, there was something sticky on the floor and crumps. There was also hair on a pillow case. We booked last minute and were very tired so we just used the other bed to sleep. I personally would not stay here again. I seen some good reviews and a lot of talk about the pool and jacuzzi. That area is really nice but that’s about it.

Room was not fully cleaned. There were serious spills on floor and on bed skirt. Room was missing hardware such as toilet roll holder, hook behind door. The Spa was visually nice but the jets were broken. The decor looked modern just needs to be maintained, repaired were needed and deep cleaned. A resort fee should not be charged when the spa is not fully functional.

The staff were very friendly and approachable. Rooms were cleaned well, however, structure was dated where crack tiles, worn bedsheets and lack of ventilation in the room showed its age. Unfortunately, the provided blow dryer connected to the wall was heating up and could not be turned off without unplugging the entire unit. For the price that was charged the room seemed acceptable.

This hotel is like one of those hotels that’s not too fancy and not too getto the big light up mirror is a great touch beds are comfy and the hot tub makes that’s hotel I’ve stayed here multiple times. The front desk guy is definitely clutch and makes it happen whether it be extra towels, extra sheets, etc. The parking lot gets a little crowded, but there’s always somewhere to park the price is very convenient and it’s close to montana de oro State Park, which is an absolutely gorgeous beach! With plenty of views!

First night was good. Upon walking into the room I had to open the door and let some air in, the cleaning products were strong! But at least you know they are cleaning.
I loved the mirrors! That was my favorite part about this place and the room had a cute theme.
Saw reviews saying how dirty it was but that was not my personal experience. Yes there were a few things that should be improved, I didn’t feel like it was obvious enough to feel like the room was unclean.
The second night was what really bothered me. I go to bed early so when loud music was playing I didn’t want to make a fuss since I knew it was still early and luckily was able to fall asleep. I was woken up a few times by loud music, strong bass….finally around 11:30 I got up out of bed. I looked around and went out into the hall way where it was even louder. I’m shocked if no one else complained about this unless the hotel was pretty empty.
It was the room right not door to me so maybe that also is why it was very loud for me. I knocked in there door a young guy opened the door and I asked him to keep it down and reminded him there were other guests at the hotel and it’s nearly midnight and he’s blasting music. He laughed at me and shut the door so I went back to my room. I used the room phone and tried to call up to the front desk 4-5 times and no one picked up so I then tried twice from my cell, no answer. So I drove around to the lobby and spoke to the guy at the front after ringing the service bell.
