Our room was in a bad location. Right by the jacuzzi on the bottom floor. The view was instructed by a pool. The bed was hard. No pillow top.

This was an exceptional property and experience. We were there overnight on our road trip and wish we could have stayed another night or more. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and lovely. The balcony was amazing and the pool area was relaxing. If you are looking for accommodations in this area you should certainly consider staying here.

Really nothing exciting about the property other than the view. The front door doesn’t seal so light leaks in all night. The sound of Hwy101 is louder than the ocean but not as loud as the seagulls ( not hotels fault). Shower is small with low water pressure and at best warm water. No sleep button for the tv. It’s a nice place but even at half the price I wouldn’t stay there again.

My Husband and I went here for our 16th anniversary. Beautiful grounds, nice pool area, comfortable beds and a great daily breakfast. The breakfast food never ran out as staff where constantly checking to make sure there was plenty of food available till the end. We are definitely coming back to The Inn at the Cove! Loved it!!

Room was clean yet there was some hair in the bathroom floor that wasn’t ours. Staff was nice when we checked in. View was amazing, outside pool, hot tub, and swings were amazing. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I would have liked an offer to clean as a stay over. But I did find a housekeeper to grab some things we needed. Breakfast was fine. All day coffee would be nice here. The coffee machine in room were very cheap and didn’t work well.

We absolutely love the Inn at the cove for the location and tranquility. Our nine year old son reckons it is the best beach in the world. We now do this trip once a year and always a great time and time to bond !

What can I say? One of the best stays we have EVER been to. The rooms were clean and big, breakfast was awesome, much more than what we assumed it would be.
We had multiple meals out on the grass area facing the ocean, it was an amazing view. The walk down to the isolated beach was the cherry on top.
We will be back, hopefully for a longer stay next time, it was so wonderful and you feel like you are in a quiet world of your own.

Unfortunately when we arrived at Pismo Beach it was raining so we didn't get to enjoy all the hotels amenities as we should. The room was large and clean with a lovely view. The breakfast was good. The only problem is that there are steps everywhere to get to your accommodation which doesn't help when you have a lot of suitcases. The walk in the morning (it was sunny) was lovely, looking at all the pelicans and the ocean. Vrey restful.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past 8 years usually booking direct. It is dog friendly, has wonderful walking trails, an appreciated continental breakfast and clean rooms. Interestingly when I use Hotel.com or a 3rd party app (past 2 experiences), my room was noticeably substandard. Last time I was placed next to the hotel room service/cleaning room and the noise from the staff use started at 7 am on. This time we were given a pet friendly room at the end of the property and the wall air conditioner is placed 1 foot from the head of the bed. I stacked 4 pillows to defer from my head and the force of the much needed unit. Slept poorly all night. from the noisy unit and force of cooling system The room was noisy during the night from the public bathroom situated next door to the room. Not sure I'll be staying at the \"Inn at the Cove\" in the future.

The property and views are beautiful and we really enjoyed the grounds and the beach. The big problem is the highway noise. It is very noticeable so there is no hearing the ocean. Even with the doors closed, they REALLY need to invest in insulated doors and good, properly installed weather stripping. Otherwise, great!

Fabulous ocean front room with balcony. Loved watching all the seagulls, pelicans and many other birds on the cliffs. The waves gently put me to sleep. Lots of fun little areas on the property to sit and a well constructed walkway to the beach. There was a happy birthday card and chocolates on my pillow. Very thoughtful! The only thing that could be improved was the complimentary breakfast. Scrambled eggs were so watery they got my tortilla soggy. Didn’t eat that but did have a little Raisin Bran with raspberries. Would definitely return!

Check in and out were very smooth. The place is on the very epic location of ocean front. If you have time, hanging around the cove and beach is the best way to relax and enjoy. The breakfast is not fancy but with the basics. I was surprised to find that they serve Biscuits with gravy, even though it would be better if the gravy is a little hotter. Will stop again next time when in the area. Thank you!

We had a beautiful ocean view. We got to watch some sea otters and a few dolphins. There was a good variety to choose from at breakfast. The only thing I wish the rooms had were grab bars in the tub.

The location was great and the view from our room of the ocean and other areas of the hotel were beautiful. All around the staff and workers were great. They did a good job with the breakfast . I will definitely recommend and stay there again .

The staff was great, and the hotel grounds are stunning, but for the price paid we were expecting a few better perks, i.e., the in-room coffee was Maxwell House, and the mattress was too firm for our taste. That said, the view is nothing short of amazing!

Patios a little too close to each other for my liking, no privacy and patio furniture not comfy but all just a preference. Good, free breakfast and no charge for parking. Would stay here again.

Absolute \"WOW\" factor—A Coastal Gem in Pismo!
We cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Inn at the Cove. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and well-kept, and almost every spot on the property offers a breathtaking view. Our room featured a lovely balcony where we enjoyed dinner and a stunning sunset—it was a highlight of our trip.
The property is designed for relaxation; we loved the large swing chairs, the Adirondack chairs perched on the cliff, and the peaceful walking paths. Even with other guests, the property felt calm, quiet, and private. It was also perfectly located—just a short drive to the Pismo Beach Pier where our 15-year-old son spent several hours meeting new friends in the evening.
The breakfast was substantial: fresh DIY waffles, fruit, sausage, scrambled eggs, and hard-boiled eggs (my favorite!). They even have high-quality coffee beans. One minor bit of feedback: the coffee machine fills the mugs quite high, making it tricky to add cream without spilling! We also loved the water bottle filling station and the pool/hot tub with a view.
Most of all, we appreciated the standard noon checkout and water station, which let us enjoy the property a little longer before our drive up to Monterey. You’re right off the highway, but you’d hardly know it. We loved it!

This hotel is beautiful all around the property. The room was very nice very clean, the bed was a little bit hard for me, and the heat didn’t work. It was just blowing out cold air even when we were upping the temperature however, everything else was beautiful.

This was the perfect hotel choice. The room and amenities were extra clean. Location was a straight drive down the street from downtown which meant our Lyft was not expensive. The environment was quiet and relaxing. It was the dream oceanfront room that I imagined for my husband’s birthday. The pictures on the website were nothing compared to real life. Real life was breathtaking. Inn at the Cove will be our hotel of choice when we visit Pismo.

Booked a ocean view room. Room had a balcony which we spent alot of time taking in the ocean sunset view. The sound of the water was so relaxing. Room was clean. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Great coffee!!! Definitely will stay again.

The rooms are spacious, clean and modern, with great views of the Pacific. The grounds are very inviting, with a quiet pool area, as well as paths and plenty of Adirtondack chairs from which to take in the dramatic view of the coast. I'd definitely stay here again.

This hotel was absolutely amazing!! We stayed 3 nights on the 3rd floor and our view was truly majestic, room was very clean, free breakfast was very good from eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels etc... Free wine was handed out everyday from 4-5pm so that was also pleasant. The rates were also very reasonable for a priceless view. We stayed in oceanfront king room and that's the way to go when you stay here
