Simple room. The rooms were very clean, with wood laminate flooring. For an older motel, it was maintained well and looks like the rooms were recently remodeled. We were only three blocks from the beach! I would definitely stay there again.

The room was somewhat outdated, but it was clean. Had the typical bed, dresser, tv and table. There was a fridge but it was not plugged in. And there was a coffee maker but no coffee. Also the toilet was leaking from somewhere. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean! At the time we were there it was quiet. It was friendly and in a good location.

The staff was very friendly and check-in was easy. The property seemed quiet and clean. The room when you open the door was very out dated, and unappealing. There was a stale smell, and later found out that it was from the unplugged fridge. The bathroom was small and also had a uncleaned smell to it.

The bed looked ok, and large. When we sat down, the loose metal frame killed it. When you looked at the sheets on it, you see there was other people's hair on it... we stripped the bed and laid our sheets on it, so that we could rest a bit.

When we closed out eyes, you hear a train nearby.. and the walls have 0 insulation, so you hear the neighbors and people walking outside. We turned on the AC, and it stayed on for maybe 30 mins, then never came back on. We also noticed out skin was getting itchy, so that was our cue to leave.

So in short, it was noisy, bad smell, hair on the sheets, furniture was stained and topped of with itchy skin after we left.

Room and amenities were fine, they even provided q-tips which I think more hotels should do. That was a plus. However, front staff is not friendly, I would even go so far as to say rude. Walked in said hello and the guy working the desk looked at me like I was disgusting, “what do you need a room or something?” Um no actually I made a reservation. then he looked at me and with and with no context, very rudely said “ well can you wait a minute”. Ok sure? so I started walking out the door feeling incredibly uninvited, could tell the guy caught himself being an a-hole and then tried to back track and say something to me about someone’s ID before me, I was on my way out idk. It was not pleasant though, and made me not want to be there. I guess the room is fine. Everyone in this whole area seems really nice, but that initial interaction was anything but.

Room was ok. Tv did not work. We notified the office staff, someone came over but it still didn't work. We were not offered a discount or offered to move to another room. When you enter the room you will see earplugs. You will need them. The walls do not block sound much at all. The floor was filthy. The mattress was awful. The sink didn't drain beyond a trickle. The refrigerator did not work properly.

The staff was cordial. The location is good, but I won't stay there again.

When I checked in the two men working weren’t friendly. Then demanded my credit card for “incidentals”.
One of the men was out in the parking lot on his phone (FaceTime or speaker) talking for hours. It’s more of a motor inn, room doors outside. So this was right outside my door/window. The door had gaps wide enough to see light through and under.
Then a group of people showed up yelling, partying, kids running up and down the stairs until at least 2am. I’m all for having fun but they were SO disrespectful and NOTHING was said to them.
All in all it wasn’t a good experience at all.

My room was clean, there was convenient parking, & I found a few places to eat near by. The room was very basic definitely a traveler place for work or on the inexpensive lay your head down & sleep & keep going. The bed was so firm, the owner was kind, i bought food & had no cutlery he provided me w/some.
I was on business & didn't want to break the bank so I opted for here it suited the purpose. I stay again for work if traveling.

Staff wanted to argue when we asked for batteries for the remote. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable but when I would get in or out of bed the metal frame would pop like a spring breaking. Lamp had a short in it so we had to unplug it. Our room was next to a storage room. Every morning we were awakened by loud talking and things being moved in the storage room. The walls were very thin. We could hear everything around us. I don’t think I could recommend this hotel.

It’s an old hotel with upgrades. It was clean but no frills. No ice machine although the fridge had a good size freezer to refreeze our ice packs. No Kleenex. BUT Great sushi restaurant next door. Parking was easy. Staff was friendly and nice.

Smelled like straight cigarettes! Sure it’s cheap but you pay for what you get. I got this for a last minute emergency but never again. And the floors squeak so much .

Close to the beach and close to food and anything else you need. Really liked this area for its convenience. Had a coffee maker and a microwave but no fridge.

My adult kids and I were going to an event in San Luis Obispo and just the night before our trip, we decided to get a room. We searched all over the Five Cities, looking for a place that would be safe, clean, relatively updated, affordable, and at least 8.0 out of 10. Not at all easy to find. Thought we were going to have to drive further away. We decided on this place and we were happy with the choice. The gentleman we met at check-in / checkout were friendly. The area was quiet. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. We were happy to have a second story room with windows that were somewhere other than the main walkway. We were able to keep them open for our whole visit and the fresh cool air was wonderful. I would say the only negatives were that the curtains were a bit shabby. You could see light shining through holes behind them and they hung out over the bed. But I just pushed them back behind the headboards and it was fine. And though the whole room looked spotless, the next morning I was walking around barefooted (which I rarely feel comfortable doing in these places) and when I went to put on my socks, I found that the bottom of my feet were filthy. But having the windows open, perhaps we contributed to dust on the floor. Or maybe just the floors were accidentally neglected on the last cleaning because everything else was fine. I would say those two things are very minor, unless you had little ones playing on the floor. We would definitely stay here again.

The male working the front desk was very very nosey. He assumed I was lying about who was staying with me. I made it very clear to him it was 2 adults and 2 kids and he charged me for the kids. I was traveling with other family who were not staying there or with me and he kept asking them questions and literally following them around the premises to see where they were going and when they were leaving. They made it clear to him two or three times that they were picking something up from me.
Overall that was extremely uncomfortable! And he promised a refund for charging me extra for my kids. And I have yet to get that.
I would not recommend this place.

Walls were thin - you could literally hear anything that happened outside of the room, or upstairs. There were ants in the bathroom. They charged for toothpaste. Appliances were dingy.
