2nd floor facing the beach. Couldn’t ask for more. Too many time when I book at other hotels, I end up facing an alley or parking lot, even though I payed extra for a room with a view. Not this time .. it was more than the wife and I expected.

Room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. However, be prepared to pay $30 a night for hotel parking. Parking on the public street is free depending on where you park. Although, the nightly parking is cheaper here, that is extra expense one should be aware of.

The hotel itself is quaint and convenient to downtown amenities. The room was clean and cozy-the partial view was a full view of the boardwalk, ocean and pier.

Walk to shops, coffee & restaurants.

Don’t miss Wool’s ~ sit at the bar for a bit & drink. You won’t regret it!

The hotel needs some small updates/repairs like in our room the sliding door didn't lock and the toilet paper holder was broken. A new coat of paint would be nice too.

This is a great location. The property has been updated. There is not real restaurant or bar, but they do have some food and drink. The person working in the bar area is fantastic. Walking distance to the pier and lots of great places to eat.

Didn’t have free breakfast. Did have beach view from the pier side king suite. Balcony was the biggest I believe and on 3rd floor. Downside is it’s the first room from the elevator so you hear the traffic.

We made a reservation 3 mos. in advance. Arrived at check in and told room not ready. We were put on the 3rd floor with a not very good partial view. We went to get something to eat for dinner and they were on a break. For 1 hour. Tried again a few nights later same outcome. Cable on TV kept going out, unreliable service. We paid for a luxury hotel and it was not that. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I think a hot tub area would be a welcome change. Outdoor cafe seating and fire pits are nice but half of that could go to a hot tub area. Staff was great and the \"Deck\" had a good variety of quick options for guests. Games and fireplace / farepit were a nice touch.

I paid for a deluxe balcony and they put me in the furthest room in the back. On top of that1 the sheets looked used with blood stains on one bed. The other bed and pillow smelled completely like BO and again sheets looked used. The screen door on the sliding glass was just sitting on the balcony broken. The front desk was unhelpful. Probably the worse hotel I’ve ever been to and I’ve traveled all over the world.

Barista lady was sweet but night time staff was beyond rude to my wife and children while I was running an errand and they were sitting by the fire. Silver fish bugs in the room and one ran across the counter in the bathroom on my son’s toothbrush. Invited family we were visiting to come eat at the hotel because the patio has a nice view but went to order breakfast at 8:30 am and they were out of toast, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, and all milk and creamer other then regular milk. For someone with dairy allergies, this was beyond frustrating to not be able to order coffee with any kind of creamer. Had all 14 family member that were coming to eat go elsewhere. We ended up leaving hotel early a was told manager would contact me and make an adjustment to room rate but no one ever did. Management can’t figure out how to even order food for the restaurant so I’m not surprised. Wanted to sit by the fire at night but it was over run by a really rough crowd, non of whom were actually staying there. Oh, on top of it, my feet become black from walking on the floor in the bedroom, as if the floor had never been cleaned. So gross! Pay the extra money and stay across the street at Vespera

Right on the beach! Friendly staff throughout. Great fun vibe. Room was great with balcony and front row view to amazing ocean sunset. Cindy bed, nice live seat, table and chairs. Great drinks and snacks at outdoor balcony bar… and more great morning /afternoon oxen’s viewing from there with couches seats and fire pits. Great if you don’t want to actually be in the sand yet enjoy the views. Lots of easy to walk to shops bars restaurants as well.

We stayed in a room off from the main hotel. It was great with a nice view of the beach and the ocean. Lucky it was a beautiful day and the beach is right there. A brief walk to the pier shopping area with restaurants so close by. Bathrooms are good, bed is comfortable as are the pillows. Good fridge in the room. Good price and quality. We have stayed here several times in the past and it has always been good for a fun day.

Property is very conveniently located, steps away from the beach and a couple minutes walk into town. This is the best thing about this property.

There is no pool or Spa, rooms are nice and clean spacious. Not much else to offer.

Make sure you don’t get a headache and need Motrin while you are there they will charge you five dollars for a pack of two Advil! I got 4 advil for $9.50
While checking in we were told to wait, but another couple was given an entire bottle of time to sip while they waited for their rooms they were even asked if they preferred red or white.
We were standing right there, but I didn’t want to ask!

Would not stay here again, unless I had no other choice!

Clean and spacious room. 1 king bed, my daughter uses a wheelchair and there was more than enough room for her chair to be parked off to the side. Beach bikes and beach wheelchairs available to check out and accessibility was amazing.

The view from the room was great. However, there is no coffee or tea making appliances in the room. We’re on the first floor so when you look at the ocean people walking by the ocean could look right in your room. Suggest staying on second floor beware of $30 parking charge.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay!
From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable — I felt relaxed the entire time. The bed was amazing, and everything smelled fresh and clean.
The atmosphere of hotel was very peaceful. Customer service truly stood out - everyone went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and exceptional hospitality. I can't wait to come back! THE VIEWS ARE UNBELIEVABLE!!

We have stayed at The Sandcastle Hotel numerous times and it never disappoints. The reception desk staff were friendly and accommodating upon check-in and check-out.The room was comfortable, clean and quiet.

We were fortunate to have an oceanfront room and spent considerable time on the balcony overlooking the beach.

The housekeeper was friendly, thorough and gracious.
