Had a wonderful stay this past weekend! Enjoyed the beach front location, use of beach chairs and towels, and the private Hot tub on our balcony! The staff were so friendly and the ocean view, 3rd floor, restaurant was delicious (although pricey). Shops and other food joints were within walking distance. We will definitely be back again!

We loved it there. Wish we would have booked more than 1 day. The hot tub on the balcony was such a plus. The restaurant for dinner we sat at the bar and had really good drinks and appetizers. Will definitely be back for longer. The room was beautiful, bed was comfy and the staff was so welcoming.

We wanted to get away from the city and have a quiet time. We upgraded our room so that we can get a water view. The upgraded room was on the second floor (257). Most of the time there were loud noises coming from above that kept us awake. Early morning the same noises woke us up. It was a room from hell. Terrible!!!!!!

The layout is like that of a motel/inn but it is very aesthetically renovated with comfortable beds, stand in showers and nice decor. The staff are knowledgeable and very courteous, their evening wine n cheese and the morning breakfast is pretty good, with frittata, fresh oatmeal and good coffee.
The walls are thin and sounds float into the room, there is no elevator so be prepared to use the stairs for taking luggage up the room.

The hot tub was overly full due to displacement once we climbed in, but not to an egregious degree. Very small amount of overflow when shifting too abruptly or fully submerging under the water.

Rooms large and comfortable and very clean. We did have a glass partition to our ceiling which meant the room got very warm in the day and no air con. However having the window open at night generally cooled the room enough.

We've stayed at SeaVenture numerous times, it's actually our favorite hotels in Pismo due to the locarion, ocean views and hot tubs on the balconies. The hotel is getting older and sometimes when we walk through the halls, it has a weird muggy smell. Also only having one elevator for guests and a busy restaurant on the top floor, makes getting anywhere incredibly time consuming. We always spend too much time waiting for the elevator and opt to use the stairs when we can. Our room had some maintenance issues. The wall-mounted lotion bottle was barely hanging on because the paint underneath was peeling and separated from the wall. Overall, the stay was a bit on the disappointing side for the price and convenience.

We stayed for our 11year wedding anniversary just getting home and it was really nice!!! The views were great and being right on the beach was perfect!!! They give chairs and towels during the stay for on the beach. The staff were always so nice and welcoming even the cleaning crew.

The staff and location of this hotel were amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we were on the 2nd floor and we could hear absolutely everything from the room above us. It felt like there was no insulation for a noise barrier. The toilets were constantly flushing and we could hear every movement from our upstairs neighbor. The maids coming through with their carts were super loud too. We barely slept either night we stayed.

The building is getting a bit tired and needs a remodel. They had to shut off the water to make repairs during our stay and there was a mildew smell in the hallway of the 2nd floor

The location is great staff was amazing. The bed and pillows were so comfy we slept well.

Very nice hotel. What sells it the most are the private hot tubs. They also have a public heated spa outdoors on the ground level. I would have given 5 stars but as nice as the restaurant seems, we ate there 3 times and disappointed all 3 times. There just isn't a lot of flavor in anything we ordered. Service was a little slow. Also, they don't open until 9am so if you want coffee other than what is in your room, you will have to walk. Sandcastle is the closest one and opens at 7am and they serve Starbucks coffee.

There was no coffee available unless you ordered it the night before. I will not use the nasty coffee maker in the room.

Maddie greated us so kindly and was able to check us in so swiftly we were in and out. She was super informative with the dining options as well. The room was lovely and was facing the left side of the beach and parking lot so we got a decent view. The hot tub on the balcony was nice and clean and the bed was comfy. The only thing would be the bathroom is a bit snug but everything else was great.
