although it is a inexpensive room, you get what you pay for. It's just a very old hotel. Shower was leaking, the wall had water damage. Won't be staying there again.

Dead roaches, hypodermic needle caps on the ground, blood on the wall, shower almost unusable, no coffee, no extra pillows or blankets, honestly was the worst stay I’ve had at a hotel in my life. I tried to talk to the office about it and she didn’t seem to care and said she would tell housekeeping.

The staff seemed irritated and unhappy.room was disgusting. Other peoples dirty clothes were left in the room. The door was broken and didn't shut all the way but the latch was broken as well and we had to pull at the door to get in and out of the room. SUPER unsafe! The curtain was broken and hanging. The remote was broken. The sink faucet in the bathroom was broken and sprayed water everywhere and the floors were filthy. I'll never stay there again.

First of all, I reserve two rooms wheelchair accessible only to find out that both of my rooms were located upstairs then they moved me downstairs, but I had to give up a fridge in one room that room smelled like cigarette smoke and it’s supposed to be non-smoking and they never paid me the difference from the room with the fridge versus a room with no fridge

I stayed at a Motel 6 near Pismo Beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated.

Unfortunately, the property itself is very rundown. There were broken or missing fixtures, a loose bathroom vent, and an awkward shower setup with a curtain that constantly stuck to me. Many of the outdoor curtains were also damaged, making the place feel poorly maintained.

The location is convenient, but the condition doesn’t match the price. Overall, great staff but the property needs serious improvement.

The room is identified as a non-smoking room, but not only dis I smell smoke heavily in the room and bathroom, but I found cigarette ash in the bathroom. Other than this problem, it is a basic cheap motel room. Nothing special, no refrigerator. I do appreciate the pet policy.

The staff at front desk was professional and honest. The AC was down and informed us we would be fully refunded if we didn’t want to stay However if we did check in knowing the AC was nonfunctional we had to pay. No hot water in shower so we were reimbursed $25. Plenty of parking. Plenty of pot smoking

The room was clean for the most part, it is pet friendly, but when we get there they tell us the A/C is not working. Not a problem since it's the coast but later that night we come to find out there isn't any hot water. Sure it's a motel 6 but they can at least have the place running correctly.

Selling false advertisement, NO air conditioning, NO WIFI, made me wait an extra hour and a half. Got to the room, immediately left the whole day came back at night to only sleep, I COULD NOT sleep people screaming and fight outside my door near my opened window that I needed open to try to get air. No one do nothing tia too the chaos of the fighting that went on from 10-3am people had to be involved. My kids were traumatized on top of suffering to sleep because of the heat and multiple people fighting.

Booked the room only to find out no air conditioning so we had to find another motel. The motel canceled our rooms but Expedia refused to refund even though Motel 6 canceled our room because the option was given to cancel at no charge or stay in the rooms with no air conditioning. We decided to cancel at no charge. Expedia makes it difficult to get your refund had to call the bank. Such an inconvenience!!!!

We paid for non-smoking, entered the room and it smelled horrible. The walls were yellow from the smoke, the bathroom walls were filthy and the shower looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. Went to office and requested another room, which we received, second room didn’t smell and was cleaner, bed was horrible, mattress was literally a rollaway on a platform! Motel 6, please don’t leave the light on for my family!

At first they give us a handicap room, paint in the bathroom was peeling off the wall, room smell! They changed us to another room. .. Curtain in the room broken, shower curtain in the shower broken, light fixture in the room burned light bulb. No shampoo or conditioner, no remote control for the tv in the room.

The room was disgusting, it was a non smoking that smelled like it was a smoking room. The ice bucket looked like someone puked in it and it was just wiped out, the tv remote had what looked to be a label from something bought from Walmart to hold the batteries in. The whole facility smelled like urine and feces.

The room keys were not working. Everytime we left room front desk had to open our door for us . The show had hair in it and a used wet bar of soap. I had to prop up 1/2 my big with pillow it was so worn out very uncomfortable.

Not the staff’s fault at all, none of the door cards worked for anyone’s rooms in the entire motel. The first time for me to see such owner failure. Never and I mean never should that happen. How do you look yourself in the mirror if you own a motel and none of the key cards will open guests rooms. You make your staff walk to each room every time someone needed access. You’re fired, get out of the motel industry. Unbelievable.

Air conditioning for the entire was broken on a labor weekend. They offered no discounts or anything except for quick apology when checking in. Staff didn’t even let me know before checking in, found out from other people in line. They didn’t even ask if I wanted to cancel upon asking them about this.

Staff didn’t give the WiFi password upon checking in. Long line for check-in. They only provided 2 hand towels in my room and didn’t answer when I called.

Frustrating that there may not be a system to allow a hotel to inform Expedia that the hotel had no AC operating, all rooms. Still I checked out two available rooms, non smoking, but it had a srong smell of smoking being smotherrd by the stench of strong cleaner. No AC and that smell. The staff were exceptionally nice though. Not their fault. Seemed like a corporate failing.

We basically needed a place just to sleep so it was fine. We were not told that theAC wasn’t working until we got there but honestly we didn’t need it. When I asked for a discount I was told that’s why the price was cheaper. The other Motel 6 that was close by was asking over $300. We had a decent sleep but our neighbors were loud. I would stay here again if it’s just to sleep not for vacation. The rooms are very old but clean.

Over priced & terrible rooms & location

Checking in was easy. When we got to the room we found out the AC was not working for the whole building & no plans to get it fixed during our stay. We reserved 3 rooms. One of the rooms bathroom was not cleaned & missing a screen on the window. All the rooms have a terrible smell.

There a creek or something near by where homeless kept coming & going. We were on motorcycles & we didn’t feel comfortable leaving them out.

We asked for a refund & we were all given a full refund which we are fretful for!

This place was horrible it was midnight with people screaming from the second floor on one side of the parking lot to the first floor on the opposite side. There was people hanging out in the parking lot drinking and having a party while their kids ran from one room to the other without supervision. The hotel had no air so everyone had to leave their windows open the rooms were an oven. My family was miserable the couple hours we were there and decided to drive the 2.5 hours back home without any sleep because of the conditions.

I declined to stay at Motel 6 Pismo Beach under Expedia res. ########. The room had no working AC despite being advertised(for the entire property via sign posting on office door and hotel attendant re stating “you’re already getting a deal no more will be given to all guests in line, too bad no AC during a heat wave take or leave it!). Staff could not resolve or relocate me because the whole property had no working AC!!!!! At that point offer refunds not just say the booking sites were made aware!!!!! Then offer me no refund get tf out here!!!!! I’m requesting a full refund or written confirmation supporting a refund to my booking agency. I ended up getting a last minute suite a Hampton Inn Arroyo Grande. You should have contacted people before check in time so they could book elsewhere not have them greated by a sign and overwhelmed staff having to defend the company’s greedy tactics. If I wanted to pay for a third world experience I would have gone to a third world country during a heatwave. This is definitely not what I payed for!!!! Do NOT stay HERE it is in a run down state and catfish pics of the property. The room lacked functioning air conditioning, which was advertised and a material amenity. This is services not as described. Please escalate to a Tier 2/Customer Relations supervisor and review for a full refund under Expedia’s “Hotel amenities not available” policy and your merchant obligations.

Couldn't checkin until 7pm. Air conditioning was out and had been For 3weeks. I had to purchase fans for 3 rooms. Parking ok but noisy at night. No amenities, not even facial tissues. The place looks run down. No lower-level rooms available. No AC. I have COPD and require AC in the summer. They said it was broken and may not be fixed today. After more questioning they admitted it had been broken more than a month and that no one was working on it. It was last minute Labor Day weekend, and I ended up finding another Motel 6 in a different city causing me to pay almost double. I recommend skipping this crap shack.

The AC was out in every until and we were not told until we got there, and it was too late to book with any other hotel due to the holiday. Room was filthy. Food was left in the refrigerator from last occupants. Cable on the TV was not working. Dryer was out of service. There was no ICE ready in the ICE machine. Pool was also filthy. I have stayed at this motel multiple times and this was my first bad experience there. Usually clean and convenient. Alot of unsatisfied customers this time. I really love this location and I hope they do better.
