I have been waiting for the manager to call me regarding several issues. The worst being our whole floor didn’t have hot showers the morning we were checking out . What also was very hard to deal with was the smell of the line sol or fabulouso being so strong it made me sick w a headache and I ended up actually getting sick and throwing up because of how strong it was .
Sadly the front desk clerk treated me very poorly the next morning and said sometimes you have to to wait for hot water .

Now let’s talk about the trash and how nasty the parking lot and area was . Was there no one keeping up w the grounds . If I do not get a call I will asking for a full refund from my bank . I am fine w Expedia credit . But plz mark this and rate it awful !

Almost on the corner of major highway.
Swimming pool with small children .
Even with those sources of noise the front facing room I had, did not have any noise issues. A bit of light-bleed from across the street. The interior fan was a bit loud , working hard to cool down the room.

The check-in process was efficient.
The parking lot clean and well lit.

Even though our room was non-smoking, our room had obviously been smoked in. The front desk just said sorry in that they had no additional rooms available and provided some Frebreze to spray. The air filter for the hvac was plugged full of dust, so I cleaned that in hopes the smell would improve, but it did not help. The filter had been installed for only 1.5 years (date was written on it) but was shocking packed. The shower was awkward in design. Overall, I was disappointed given the high amount of money we paid for the room.

Check-in was smooth and definitely in a good location, everything was within walking distance. Room was not very clean. We stayed Friday-Sunday,they do not clean your room or restock fresh towels. I borrowed the broom so I could sweep myself, my husband had to ask for toilet paper and new trash bags. We are very clean and don't mind however, if im on vacation and paying for motel services, I would like at least some clean towels.

The property is clean and well maintained, parking was good and plentiful. The staff was super friendly. The rooms are outdated, baseboards are bulging in some areas from wall, shower is in need of repair but worked & water got hot pretty quick which was nice. Our room was clean and the stay at property was good, it was quiet in the evenings. This is a no-frills place which for the price is fine. I usually take my own shampoos etc. so I didn't mind. They do provide you with 2 soaps. There are no coffee pots in the room, and no continental breakfast or coffee is offered in the lobby. We did get a room with microwave and fridge (extra charge) and those worked very well. Again, this is a no-frills place, but if you are looking for a clean place, with good parking, and friendly staff to lay your head this is it.

Had troubles checking in. Had to check in twice. We showed up early, the clerk was able to check us in but not give room keys since rooms were not ready.

Came back later at night after the graduation events at SLO, only to find out my rooms were given away to other families. I had 2 rooms, one for the 80+ year old grandparents and the other for myself.

Luckily my reservations were still there but now our rooms were too separated from one another. Glad that there were no emergencies, but if there was; I wouldn't be able to attend the elderly that were with me.

Property had lots of trash throughout, they need to pick up and guests need to respect and use trash cans.

Room was clean but does need upgrades as its age is showing. Air-conditioning is old, could not get it to work.

Overall, this was not worth the price paid for these rooms, way too overpriced.

I thought motel 6 had gone through an image improvement by improving their properties slightly. This property doesn’t seem like it has received much attention other than minor paint job in the rooms. Found a clump of hair on our bed. The room phone cable was completely cut. The shower curtain did not close properly. The sink faucet was clogged and was spraying everywhere. No coffe or tea. Toilet was dirty. It is a shame management has not spent much in making this property a little bit nicer for the area and decided to confirm motel 6 is and will continue to be a last choice when it comes staying at any property.

The location was fine, nothing fancy and basic. That’s okay. However, the room I stayed in (115) was disgusting. The window was damaged and you couldn’t see out as if it was previously painted over? The room itself was so rancid with the strong smell of cigarettes and marijauna, it was in the bedding, the ventilation as well. I had to go get my own blankets and pillows to sleep properly because the smell on the fabric was so strong. The walls were super dirty and had marks, food drippings or whatever it was all over them. The shower was dirty and the bathroom was not great. There was residual trash under the bed, I didn’t far go on my hands and knees due to the condition of the floors, they were sticky, and dirty which left my socks black. The shining star of this stay was that there were zero refrigerator or microwave in the room itself, which I find odd as most motels will provide one for use. Overall a terrible stay at this motel 6, and normally I’m not one to complain or judge a motel 6, it’s for cost saving measure and expectations are on the floor with all the dirt and grime of this room. Overall I’ll stay at another hotel when in the pismo beach area.
