Great stay overall, and location is the highlight. Direct beach access via stairs and guest-only restrooms made beach time very convenient. The pool area is nice, the hotel layout feels open and relaxing, and we enjoyed the included breakfast plus extras like Wine Wednesday and morning yoga on select days. ChargePoint stations onsite were also convenient.
We initially booked a no-view room, but the front desk was very helpful and suggested waiting for a partial ocean view, which was worth it.
A few notes: water pressure is low as mandated by Pismo Beach (fine for brushing teeth and quick showers, but tougher for long hair - my workaround was a quick $12 shampoo at Supercuts in SLO). The AC unit was older and very loud when it kicked on, though mild coastal weather meant we didn’t need it overnight.

The views from our King suite were breathtaking and there were several amenities that were enjoyable such as the pool, multiple spas, and fire pits. For the price, I wouldn't consider these luxurious rooms at all but they were clean and our bed was comfy. Again, at luxury pricing, the continental breakfast was subpar.

The location is beautiful, with easy beach access, great ocean views, and a peaceful beachside setting that made the trip feel relaxing from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel grounds were well maintained. We especially enjoyed being able to walk along the beach, sit outside, and take in the sunset without needing to drive anywhere. Overall, SeaCrest was a great base for exploring Pismo Beach and the surrounding Central Coast.

This was an amazing experience - my 14-year old son and I loved it and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel has a great location, you have beach access directly from the property, the views are amazing, the room was super clean, it was not noisy, and the breakfast was convenient (just get there early to avoid the crowds since the room is small - you can eat right outside and see the ocean, though). My only \"wish\" was that they had a fitness room, but that was minor. I would absolutely stay here again and plan to. It was a great find that was reasonably priced (we were even able to check in early). Tip - for a great burger and fries, try The Low Tide Spot.

The room was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the free breakfast. The staff was very nice. The air-conditioner, however, was very loud and perhaps needs some maintenance done on it. The loudness made it very hard to sleep so we had to turn it off and sleep without it on. Even though it was quite cool in Pismo Beach while we were there, our room tended to get a bit stuffy so we really needed to be able to use the air conditioner while sleeping.

The view and private beach at this hotel was amazing. I went with my partner, and we enjoyed the walk down to the beach every day. This is definitely a family-oriented hotel, so if you’re a couple and looking for privacy or quiet, I wouldn’t suggest. However, I really enjoyed the fresh baked cookies every day from 3-7pm, the adult only hot tub that was open until 11pm, and the fire pits. The free breakfast was also decent.

This is a great location, great place to stay. It is a median price range for the coast and i think its a fair price depending on when you book your room. Summer time can get expensive but the amenities are worth it. Free parking, a free hot breakfast, 3 hot tubs, one being adults only, walking distance to the beach and to blast and brew... we actually door dashed pizza right to the pool! We have stayed here multiple times and we always enjoy our stay.
As with any hotel staying on the bottom floor you never know how noisy the people above will be, we had loud upstairs people and i just texted the Concierge service and told them because it was after 10pm the noise wasn't quitting and they contacted the guests and the noise stopped.
The upstairs room are a treck if you have a hard time doing stairs I do not recommend if you want to upstairs try to plan far enough ahead where you can get a room close to the stairs.
Overall this is our new go to place to stay on the central coast.

This was our second stay here in the past six months, and we continue to enjoy our visits. The property itself is showing its age in some areas, but it's clear that management is actively investing in improvements. During our stay, rooms were being updated and the parking lot was being repaved, which was encouraging to see.
The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, and the oceanfront view is absolutely magnificent. Even with the ongoing renovations, our experience was positive, and we appreciate the effort being made to improve the property. We look forward to returning again in the future.

BEACH: Seacrest is an awesome place to stay. Not so close to the pier that you have the constant noise but close enough to walk along the beach to the pier. Walk includes watching seagulls carry clams high in the air and drop on the hard sand for a meal, to finding sand dollars (dead ones only) on the beach. Beach area is accessible via 95 steps right from the property and is away from most of the tourists.
FOOD: Breakfast was awesome as well with fresh scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes. Includes many other items as well as fresh baked cookies daily at 3pm.
Plenty of parking and having Blast & Brew right on site makes the opportunity for a quick bite or full meal readily available.
STAFF: Great staff, very friendly and ready to address any issues that may arise. (We had problem with the remote for TV and was corrected immediately). Clean and comfortable rooms that were cared for by attentive staff.

We had an excellent stay. Room was clean, linens fresh, premises spotless. I only dealt with one staff member, Kevin. He immediately recognized my 9 year old neurodivergent needs. He knew a room by the elevator would be loud and busy for him. He graciously offered to move us to a more quieter side of the hotel. For this, I am completely grateful. SeaCrest has a perfect location with respect to the beach and Pismo. It is located above the beach on a beautiful cliff with beach access and a panoramic view over the whole area. It is walking distance to Pismo, and a 2 minute drive… It has a large parking. It also has a very efficient breakfast area with plenty of seating on the terrace. The place is family and pet friendly so it had a very nice and friendly vibe. There is free coffee all day and cookies in the afternoon. The rooms are very spacious so a family of 4 would be comfortable. The staff is great, as well as the cleaning crew. Everything was just perfect and everyone enjoyed the beach, the pool and the hot tubs. Highly recommend this property! Enjoy

Our oceanfront king was amazing as we were on the 2nd floor directly above the lobby with the perfect center view of the ocean, pool area, cornhole grassy areas, and firepits. The location with beach access is amazing. Breakfast was fresh, hot, and served with great service. Parking was plentiful, easy, and safe. Our Room was so clean. Also the rooms are decorated so nice! I can’t give a review on the bed because I sleep on a Temperpedic mattress that inclines. So needless to say I didn’t sleep well but my husband said it’s was better than most places we have stayed at.

Checking in and out was a breeze. Found staff to be most helpful. Many choices on the breakfast menu. Liked how they had a staff member serving the hot dishes.

The staff were awesome. Especially Kevin at the front desk. Everything I asked for was granted. Room 424 I think that’s the room. Corner balcony room was awesome. The kitchen staff were so kind. Absolutely loved it. We will be back. We told several of our friends and they too will be staying. See you next year!

We enjoyed our stay. There are beautiful views and a great beach to walk on as well as a short walk to town and the pier. The complimentary breakfast was good and helpful to get the day started w/o going out to a restaurant. We had a couple issues with the tv and then needing wash cloths but our phone call was answered immediately and someone was at our door to meet the need in a couple minutes. We were disappointed that the pool was closed while they repaired the deck, but as it turned out the weather was in the 60s and much to cold to swim anyway. It's mid May and we were expecting warmer weather.
