We had an amazing stay with our family! Great location, short, walk to the beach and all of the restaurants and bars. The beach itself is amazing fun waves for the kids nice and relaxing for their parents. Highly recommend this area as well as this resort.

Room was extremely cute and well decorated. There was a large piece of broken glass in the floor when we got there and that was scary because we have a toddler. The rest of the place was very clean. The pull out sofa bed was so worn out that it was basically unusable. It should be replaced. No staff, weird automated check in. Location was great though.

This place felt more like an Airbnb. Virtual front desk which I never got the pre-checkin link for so I was a little stressed figuring out what our room was and the code. Then the room we got was noisy. We were facing the street and the windows didn’t help with the noise. Also, our bed linens were dirty and since there was no staff around I was not sure how to notify anyone or if there was anyone who could have helped us. Just overall a weird experience and disappointed since this was supposed to be my getaway from stress time. Didn't get much sleep in because of the street noise.

We stayed with my family of 4. I’m gonna start with the pros: nice to have a laptop table to work on, the kitchen was well supplied. Now on to cons: the hotel itself is old. In the pictures it looks very new and clean, but in reality the furniture is old and used. In the room The bed sheets were torn and holey, very old. The towels had someone’s hair on them. The window frame was dirty. The room had some noice like beeping every once in a while for 2-3 mins, that was disturbing at night. The price of almost $600 for this kind of room is not pleasing.

Great stay for the Pismo Car Show, my only few suggestions would be to stock more items, we only had 1 roll of toilet paper and no way to get more, also the coffee creamers and sugars were only enough for 2 cups of coffee during our 3 day stay. For the price, I would suggest having enough, otherwise great place, easy to get in and out of and comfortable beds!

Fabulous stay in a king sea view suite, super cute retro inspired decor, excellent bed with beautiful white linens and pillows to sink into, large fluffy white towels for the large walk in shower & plenty of lovely Malin & Goetz toiletries. Super efficient aircon. Laundry room, ice machine and big bonus of beach towels. Right in the heart of things and a few minutes from the beach.

And bench was stained and dirty, did not feel comfortable to sit on it the bathroom the corners by the doors were water stained
Plates of dishes had dried food on them. Pots had boiled water stains on them very disappointed looked rundown, not cleaned properly dirty for the price. It should’ve been a lot cleaner looked and felt rundown and dirty.

Clean room and lobby area, loved the record player in the lobby. Room and kitchen was equiped which was nice however I noticed there was already a couple forks missing, solo trip so I didn't mind.

Now for the misses - safe was already locked when I arrived and I was unable to use it. Called the number and the gentleman informed me he did not have anyone on property to fix this. THE BATTERY ON THE KEY PAD DIED and I was locked out of the room. So annoying standing outside with my leftovers waiting for someone to come unlock the room. I'm sure if you don't have issues it is great and you don't miss the staff but having an iPad check in and equipment that doesn't work do not work well together. Plus this is while the hotel looks new. I worry about the upkeep and future state since management clearly aren't inspecting often.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is centrally located and within walking distance to many delectable food places and the beach. The boutique hotel felt very homey with all the amenities the room offered. It was very clean and we encountered a few friendly employees very hard at work with the upkeep of the grounds. The bed was very comfortable which made it easy to get a good night's sleep. We appreciated the kitchenette that came in handy. Overall we will definitely stay here again when visiting Pismo and highly recommend this charming hotel. We can't wait to come back.

Our family really enjoyed the decor and overall theme of the property—the Art Deco style gave it a unique and charming feel. We stayed on the third floor, and the view from the hallway windows was absolutely beautiful.

Opting for the $30/day parking was definitely worth it, as parking in the area can be difficult to find. The location is a major highlight—everything is within walking distance, including the pier, downtown, and Splash Cafe. We also discovered several great places to eat nearby, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Overall, a convenient and memorable place to stay!

It was a very nice cozy homey hotel. My kids enjoyed their bunk beds and actually wanted to stay an additional night. It’s renovated with minor scuffs here and there but it’s fine. Loved the contactless check in. We arrived a little later in the evening and it was so convenient not having to wait for a front desk receptionist to check in. My mom is also disable so having a room on the first floor made it so easy for her to get in without too much worrying. My only thing was that the AC unit kept ticking all night long even when it was not used. I also had issues with the espresso machine that came with the room. I waited over an hour for the light to stop blinking and it never stopped blinking so I skipped out on my morning coffee.

If you are looking for an affordable place to stay near downtown Pismo Beach, this place is okay. However, the rooms looked much bigger in the pictures (vs in person), and the building is very old. The plumbing is old, and the walls are very thin. It was an easy check in, and the customer service was good, however. Unfortunately, i would probably not recommend this hotel to others.

Paid extra for view of the beach, which was not worth it.

We have no issues with the room. It’s clean and smells nice. The only problem was that the parking spot assigned to us was already taken by others. I tried to contact the management via text messages but didn't get a response, so I ended up parking elsewhere. I didn't like having to do that, thinking it could be assigned to someone else. The management should improve their parking space assignment. We paid $30 for it, but I feel stressed and uncomfortable about the situation, and I shouldn't have to.

The rooms are very cute with thoughtful touches. The bed is comfortable. Location is great, too, as you can walk anywhere around downtown Pismo within a couple minutes. It’s a historic building, so we could clearly hear street traffic and everything going on in the rooms around us (and the elevator as we stayed in the room right next to it).

Cute and comfortable stay for a long weekend with the family. Especially enjoyed the fact there's an actual refrigerator and kitchenette. A short walk to the beach and central to everything you need. Easy Check-In and Out with virtual reception desk. Will definitely stay again.

Love the location and retro vibe. VERY clean l. We had a small issue with the sheets being a bit stiff and uncomfortable but the responded immediately and the new sheets were very cozy as was the bed. Great stay !

The hotel checkin process was smooth, the room was nice, but they didn’t clean the room the next day.

Appreciate all the jazz about remote front staff, but it felt not getting value for money.

What’s worse is that there insects like termites in the room.

Location is great within walking distance to the pier and restaurants.The parking is right next to Crab Shack. Our suite was clean and smells fresh. We had the ocean and sunset view. Kitchen is well supplied. Bedroom is tiny; ok for 2 people. Comfortable living area. The lobby and elevator can use some cleaning and maintenance so it doesn’t smell old and musty at the entrance. Quiet building with A/C so we didn’t have to open the windows.

The property was perfectly located to restaurant's shopping and of course the beach. The room was decorated nicely and was a very relaxing spot. Perfect for families who want to save a lil money and cook some of your own meals, kitchen came fully stocked with all cooking utensils and had everything you need to eat your meal with. It also came with cooking oil and an ample amout of seasonings to flavor you meal to your desire. Pop in to one of the local spots pick up some food and cook away. Then kick up your feet and relax or take a quick stroll to the beach and walk it out. Will definitely be back.

The manager was very friendly and helpful, and quick to respond to any question we had. It was a 5 min walk to all shops and restaurants and the beach. The room was amazing!! Great value! The kitchen was fully stocked with everyone you need to cook.... even spices, olive oil .... all you need is food. They had a nespresso machine in the room.... not my favorite, but still a great option. Love the ambiance of the hotel. Great for families and couples! I also highly recommend Beachin Biscuits either next door!
