The parking was not great. We arrived at 10pm from a party and couldn't find parking close to our room. Not even disabled parking. The room was great. Comfy bed and plenty of pillows. Loved the walk in shower. Fridge, microwave and wet bar nice.

The gentlemen that checked us in on Saturday evening was extremely kind and helpful. He gave us a good understanding of what to expect. The lady that checked us out on Sunday morning was also nice. Our room was very clean and organized.

The entire property has two ice machines and the one closest to most of the rooms wasn't working. I spoke to another fellow traveler and he said it has been working off and on for over two weeks. Other than that, the property was clean and well maintained.

The check-in time says 4:00 in some places and 3:00 in others. It is 4:00. I called ahead to ask about early check-in around 2:00 and the front desk assured me it shouldn't be a problem. I have about 1:55 and was told a room was available. However there would be a $25 early check-in fee for anything before 3:00. I really think this information should have been given to me when I called earlier.

The pool is really nice and heated! The hot tub is lovely. The breakfast was delicious, with 2 waffle makers, eggs, bacon, cold cereals, bagels and toast.

Hotel was very big and spacious. Breakfast was fine. Only problem was we were on the 1st floor and we could hear the people above having sex for over 3 hours!!!! The bed was squeaking all night. I let the front staff know and they said oh the building is very old. You could hear them walking and everything! Advice I suggest staying on the the 3rd floor next time!

This is a Ranch style hotel. Pretty inside and out. Rooms are very cozy. The water features are awesome. I notice guests that brought there dogs here were very happy. The breakfast was nice.

Front desk staff was not friendly or accommodating when I checked in. The hotel room carpet was stained and dirty as well as the chair in the room. I thought the property was nonsmoking, but multiple people standing outside the rooms smoking. Parking is adequate.
Checking out took a long time because there was a line and only one person at the front desk. Eventually, a second person came to help.
I didn’t go to the breakfast room so I don’t know how that was. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Location is nice, there’s a Starbucks crossing the lil bridge and a grocery outlet ,fast food restaurant for night munchies, the pool is heated and the hot tub was very warm, the sauna was a plus for me, they also have a small garden with a very beautiful water fountain, the breakfast buffet was great they have 2 seating area for breakfast, the staff was very friendly, the rooms had everything I needed and was very clean and had comfortable beds, very quiet at night time, Definitely booking again

Nice place. Nothing over the top. We arrived 20 minutes before check-in, and the girl at the counter asked if we wanted to pay the $25 early check-in fee. That was very off-putting. I'm sure the room was ready to go. She had zero personality even before that question, but the young gentleman in training who was there when we returned was awesome. The gentleman who was training him also had zero personality. We saw that as some guests were checking in with him. This is a hospitality business and being friendly and welcoming (at least) to your guests is pretty much standard at hotels.

My room while not filthy looked as if it hadn’t been used in months as the end tables specifically were covered in a layer of dust. The parking is a joke, there is not enough room to turn around if certain areas of the lot are full. They also ask for your license plate number but don’t seem to enforce parking.

We had some issues with the door card and had to get new ones made a few times a day. When cleaning up to leave we realized that the rooms were not fully cleaned and one of the beds had a sandal and other items under the bed. Also the pull out bed had not been made or clean bedding been placed when we went to use it.

Typically, rest here overnight in Pismo Beach due to mid-point from Marshall, CA, to Richmond, CA.

My late husband and I have been coming back well over 34 yrs. Immediately, at this visit, noticed a change! I just could not place my finger on it. No complaints all boxes checked ✅ off.

Checked in Easter 🐣 Sunday evening. Rested, surprisingly found parking right in front of my rented room. At Monday’s free breakfast (no complaints!), and after returning to my room. Picked up the Casa Grande Best Western hotel room legend. There is was in small print: “New Owners!”

Highly recommend this place! Hotel rooms cleaned, noticed a few downgrades, i.e., of the two key cards issued, only one key card was granting me entrance; I reserved room via Hotels.com and required to pay upfront in order to book!; Tissue Box vs. Kleenex Box; one-ply tissue vs. 2-ply; less trash cans in the room, less towels; less free room samples; and, on my checkout day by 9:00 a.m., maid knocking loudly, “Room Service!” Not ten minutes prior, called front desk to remind her I had a late check since I arrived about 7:30 p.m., and was granted extension until 12 noon.

Upgrades: Less expensive rooms; new waterfall w/lights (night); bushes hooked up with clear lights; more new flowers blooming (Calla Lillies), less employees (food, maids, gardners, staff); new big screen tv w/o the swivel, etc.

Upon my departure, felt as if this was a family-owned business.

The room was clean. Seemed just a teeny bit outdated. I have a temporary disability. The person at the counter saw I was on a knee scooter. Our room was on a hill and there was no way for me to get to it without going across the parking lot. The parking lot was terrible to take my scooter on as it was not smooth at all! I couldn’t find a way to get in. I had to have my husband help me up the curb without falling. We didn’t find out until the next day that had we went down the hill there was an elevator to the second floor which is where we were up the hill. Guess I should’ve asked.

The room was not clean when I got in. Clearly the glitter on the side table overlooked by staff. I was exhausted from driving so I just laid down and woke up because the thermostat was malfunctioning and I couldn’t get it to work so at 76 degrees I was roasting. Called the front desk at 1:00 in the morning and Adam couldn’t fix it either and started to scold me about not calling right away and why didn’t I open the window? I was exhausted and fell asleep that’s why, and I didn’t open the window because I needed quiet and I was in a room next to the elevator and people talking. He offered me another room at 1:30 in the morning and I declined because my stuff was out and that would have meant gathering everything, totally waking up and not getting proper sleep for all I had to do in the morning. How is it that a 20 year old staff gets to scold a guest about how they should behave? I called the front desk in the morning and she was equally as rude, telling me I “refused” to move IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT— Let me make this clear. I did not REFUSE. I hoped I could get through the night—
What I want to know is when did Best Western make it a policy to be rude to guests and make it the guest’s fault for not being up to par.

After the morning call I tried to sleep until check out, put the privacy tag on my door and just as I fell to sleep, maintenance completely ignoring my DO NOT DISTURB sign.

I mean, what is this? I have to pay for rudeness and disrespect?
