When I stayed there with my husband and kids the sheets on the beds were dirty when we pulled back the comforter. I immediately reached out to the front desk but they were closed the sister hotel next door sent someone over with clean sheets that I had to change myself. The manager at the sister hotel kept apologizing and told me to contact the manager at my hotel (Denise) in the morning and she would “make it right” the following morning spoke to Denise and explained everything that happened, showed her pictures of the beds to which she apologized. She stated she would be happy to make it right and do a refund but due to me booking through a 3rd party I have to initiate it through them and if I did so she would be happy to do the refund. Fast forward to today and Experian informed me they have reached out numerous time and have not received a response from them for the refund approval. To say I’m upset is an understatement. Expecting people to sleep in dirty rooms and then doing nothing to make it right but yet keeping my money is unacceptable. Please don’t stay at this hotel.

We called the front office about a noise complaint, there were people with a big dog staying in the room above ours, for house we just heard footsteps, furniture moving, dog barking and footsteps. We called the next morning asking for a different room and was told if there was a complaint they would talk to them. Next night new people were staying above us and showed up drunk yelling at each other at midnight. I had to turn the tv on and the ac unit on due to not waking my dog and my pregnant wife. That was our first and last time staying at that hotel.

Newly renovated rooms. Great views. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was small but usable. Late check in shifts to sister property next door. Unfortunately I was kept up by very loud neighbors and there is no staff overnight. Had to call a sister property next door for support. So be mindful if traveling late/needing assistance overnight.

The room walls are so thin that you can hear the pets and conversations from the next door, which is not very comfortable. I’m glad we got the upper floor; if we had the ground floor, it would be a nightmare to sleep. Considering the rate we paid for three nights, it’s not worth it.

Very clean little spot with nice rooms and terrific views.
While about 1 mile from the beach, they offer free bike rentals which is a nice amenity.

Plenty of parking

Check in and check out is a breeze

The restaurant next door Blast & Brew is convenient and offers some solid food options if you don't feel like trekking back down to the beach area.

I've stayed here twice, once because it looked convenient when I was riding the PCH, and this second time intentionally because I liked it so much. Pricing here is very reasonably as well.

I stay in this area frequently due to family at Cal Poly SLO, but this was one of the most uncomfortable hotel experiences I’ve had.
The hotel is very close to the freeway, and the noise at night is constant and very loud—resulting in a poor night’s sleep. Check-in was also misleading; the listing says available until 11pm, but staff are only on-site until 7pm. I was not informed of this in advance over the phone or in person, and had to check in at another hotel instead.
When I asked about checking in an hour earlier due to my schedule, I was told there would be an additional charge. The heater in the room also did not work properly, and there was no extra blanket available.
Overall, I would not stay here again.

Super cute and clean renovated older motel. We had a ground floor room and there is a little noise from upstairs room but we did not mind it. The parking is close which was nice having children with us. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely staff here again!

The location was nice with a great walk down to the beach and over to the pier. The property well maintained and attractive. It's a recent renovation + modernization of an old school motel. Large room. Tight bathroom and shower. Very basic towels. No breakfast and no iron for clothes. The one condition that needs attention is to have a better sealing door system.

Just a heads up there will be zero sound proof in their regular rooms without the view. You will hear the noise from the highway, other guests’ voice next to and above your rooms. Poor quality inn that recently renovated but with not so sturdy materials. Bathroom smelled a little weird. There’s not really any amenities that comes with the stay other than having the ocean view close by. I booked the stay seeing the reviews from Expedia but it’s misleading.. I should’ve seen the Google review before proceeding. I would say the stay was definitely not worth $360.

The room was small, but perfect for the night. Room had a small refrigerator, which I appreciate, and a little snack. Nice touch. The beach view was there (a bit), but the sounds from the road drown out any of the calming waves.
The bed was comfy and the bathroom was updated and nice. Nice walk to either the beach or cute downtown.

We really enjoyed our stay there, we actually brought our 🐶🐕 pets and it was enjoyable.

The Seacrest hotel is next door and is a great stay as well

It was also convenient to have a restaurant next door

I would definitely recommend staying at any of the spacious cottages

Loved that there was plenty of parking. Room was updated and clean. We could hear every step above us from the 2nd floor, but once they went to sleep, it was fine. Towels felt cheap, but overall, we were very happy and would stay there again.

The staff was nice and everything was very clean. However, I will say the property in general was extremely loud. I don’t think it’s a reflection of the property, I think the guests that happened to be There were very disruptive and I unfortunately had to cut my trip early because it was impossible to sleep. The staff was very apologetic and understanding and tried to switch me rooms and let me out of my reservation early given the circumstances. I travel often and was in town for work and after limited sleep for two days it was impossible to stay. Amenities were limited as there is no pool or hot tub, and the restaurant listed as on site was actually walking distance and not what is traditionally considered on site. This hotel would probably be perfect for retired couples that want to be close to the water and don’t really need a lot of extra amenities. However, I will say the showers were very small and maybe not necessarily the safest for older couples. Again, the staff was very nice and very accommodating and everything was very clean, just was not the perfect situation for me.

They’ve done a nice job remodeling this place so it’s super cute. However, if you have a room with a guest above you, you can hear everything… I would stay her again but probably opt for a stand alone cottage. Nice view. Access to beach is pretty close but not on the property. Brew and blast next door was nice to grab a burger and beer.

Rooms are newly renovated, and nicely decorated but there's a big lacks of storage space or even hooks on the wall. Only one hook behind the bathroom door. They could make much better use of the small space by adding more hooks to hang things, and more storage options on the walls.

Also I had requested a King sized bed room, but was given a queen bed without being told due to renovations happening in other rooms. New room had an ocean view, but it was still odd that this was not mentioned during check in.

We were offered late check out, but this didn't seem to be communicated to the front desk staff. Luckily most communication with guests is done through text message so I was able to confirm that I was offered free late check out easily.

Pros: it was a nice size room with nice hardwood floors and tiles. It was nicely decorated and clean. The bed was form and had great pillows. It was next door to a restaurant. There was enough parking and the property was clean.
Cons: the water pressure in the bathroom sink and shower was just a trickle (I’m not exaggerating) and was heavily with softener solution in the water. The opening to the shower was tight, and the refrigerator was loud.

I had an amazing stay at this cozy little cottage in Pismo Beach. The space was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxing, homey feel from the moment I walked in. It’s just a short walk from the beach, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the ocean.

Door was difficult to open. Security lock did not engage the door frame. Bathroom doorknob did not open from inside the bathroom. Thank God there were 2 of us, or a person could spend the whole stay in the bathroom.
Lighting was bad. The full length mirror is useless if there is no light over it.
Pillows were hard. I had a sleepless night. Never stay again.
