Jesse was great, front desk. Beautiful beach view. Pool was closed. Elevators were having problems. Housekeeping was late, had to call twice to get more towels and they were so late we told them not to straighten up the bed, just leave us towels. TV remote needed batteries so the tv didn’t work, called for maintenance twice before they came. Water in the shower was scalding hot or freezing cold! Great location. We were very excited to stay here but will probably stay elsewhere next visit.

Showed up and our was given to another person who had the AC go out in their room. Hotel was booked for a large event so we had to take the room with no AC. Asked for compensation but they couldn’t do it because we booked through a 3rd party. They offered is 2 small bags of saltwater taffy and 2 free drinks.

Our room faced the town of Pismo Beach. Very good location as the pier is located just around the corner from the hotel unless you have ocean view room. The location is very walkable to both the beach and restaurants/shops. Our room was clean and quiet. We did have an issue with A/C, maintance had to come up and change the thermostat on the wall. The A/C still didn't work to our satisfaction. We had to call the front desk as the bathroom had bath towels but no hand towels or wash clothes. I found the lighting in the bathroom to be very dim. I like the bathroom to be brightly lit. It is hard for a women to apply their makeup in such dim lighting. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. They charge $30.00 per night for valet parking (which is the only parking they have on site) So on top of the parking fee you feel that you have to tip the valet everytime they bring your car up for you. If you chose to park on the street all the street parking is metered and you have to pay for that too. They have a roof top swimming pool that is very small (about the size of a large hot tub) and also a bar and restaurant on the rooftop (which we did not use). They also have a bar and small restaurant in the lobby that, once again we did not use.

Hotel was filthy. Carpets were heavily stained in all hallways. Dingy and gross. Pool area was poorly maintained, stained loungers and seating.
Bathroom in our room smelled foul and the water is so soft that soap is impossible to rinse off.
One of two elevators was broken.
We stayed here last year and this property has severely declined since then. We won’t stay here again and can’t recommend it.

This hotel is right at the Pier parking lot.
Three reasons why I could not give it a 5, even though the place is nice and the people friendly.
1) $100 PER DAY put on your credit card for incidentals. So stay a week, get $700 put on it.

2) Ad says \" valet parking available\". It is the ONLY parking available unless you can find a place on the street, and move your car before the meters go live. Valet parking is $30 per day PLUS tips, so if you go in and out a couple times and tip $5, you may be out $50 a day. That's $250 if you stay a week...

3) Noisiest place I have ever stayed. If you get a room in the back with no view, no sense staying there. If you get the ocean view rooms, the rooms on the 1st floor are 10 feet away from the huge pier parking lot, with loud Harleys, noisy lifted trucks, Mustangs revving their engines, idiots playing their stereo at full volume, people arguing about parking fees, etc. If you are unlucky enough to get one of the 21 rooms that face the main street downtown, you will be woken up at 4:30am with garbage trucks picking up trash, restaurant delivery trucks rolling kegs down the sidewalk, etc. Unbelievable amount of noise.

Other than that the rooms were nice, beds comfy, staff helpful and friendly. But my god, the noise at night...

Doors were so loud that everytime they were shut my son covered his ears because of how loud they were, the walls were very thin and could hear the people’s conversation next to me, even with my tv on. My room sinks drain never opened and only let water trickle down. The room was advertised as having an ocean view but was only viewable if I was on the balcony and leaned over the banister and looked between two buildings. Construction was taking place and while on the balcony a construction worker assembled a wooden platform right outside our room at 8 am. For the money I paid I expected more from this hotel.

No microwave. Charge $30 a day for parking. Minifridge did not have upper area for freezing. Ice machine not working so had to go looking for machine on another level and since I needed medication cold, I had to go several times a day to get ice. Ice container made of cement? Very heavy then add ice to it and it was inconvenient having to carry ice all the way several times a day. Didn't realize that the pier was as noisy as it was so that we could not enjoy sitting on the balcony or even leaving the patio door open for fresh air because of the noise.

While the property is nice, the service was unacceptable. Despite requesting early check-in the night before and calling again that morning, our room wasn't ready until after 4:00 PM. The staff watched me struggle with my 5-month-old baby and offered no assistance or empathy.
To make matters worse, our pre-paid breakfast was canceled without notice. When I asked for a resolution, the receptionist rudely told me to \"see if\" the manager would give a refund, rather than taking responsibility. Between the blatant rudeness and the lack of basic amenities, I cannot recommend this hotel for families or business travelers.

We had such high hopes for this stay. The proximity to everything is awesome. However, the room was not clean. There were hair ties and cheez-its everywhere. Also we found marijuana roaches on the balcony. I hardly sleep because it was soooo noisy. We were kept awake at 5 am by the street sweeper. During the day it was LOUD!!! You could not relax at all. If you sit on the balcony the smell from the fire pits below is suffocating. Along with exhaust from the parking lot right outside. The staff was so kind. But I’ll never stay there again. I am not a complainer either. There was also men bringing in prostitutes. It was a lot of negative things. I’m sorry.

We stayed for two nights to celebrate our son’s birthday, and the trip got off to a great start—our room was ready much earlier than the usual check-in time. The staff was friendly, personable, and professional from the moment we arrived.

Shortly after settling into our first room, we ran into a major issue (which will remain between us and the hotel staff). The front desk attendant, Anastasia, immediately stepped in, handled the situation, and moved us to a new room without hesitation.

After getting comfortable in the second room, the General Manager reached out personally to apologize and made every effort to compensate us for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the same issue popped up again—but once more, Anastasia sprang into action. She personally checked a third room, ensured it was issue-free, and upgraded us in the process.

Once the dust settled, the rest of our stay was smooth sailing. We’ve stayed at this hotel many times and have never experienced any problems before. What really stood out was how quickly and professionally the entire staff handled everything. Because of that level of care and service, this definitely won’t be our last stay.

We loved the Hotel however if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay and be able to sleep this is not the hotel. The bars across the street are super loud and you cannot sleep, too much noise going on all night and early morning. But if you a party goer then this is your spot! Also there is no parking only valet and it’s in a I’ve way street so be mindful when arriving otherwise you have to go a few blocks down and cone around again to be able to enter correctly into the hotel. Also there is a lot of traffic due to it being close to all the shops and restaurants.

The room was comfy & clean. The valet staff were AMAZING. The front desk staff did not greet us upon arrival & we had to keep inching closer and closer to the desk to be greeted and to be told to wait one moment. (Which doesn’t bother us, but they should start with that instead of ignoring). The screen door & bathroom door didn’t work well. But other than that, the room was great.
