The property was very run down, much more so than it appeared in the listing. The staff was not very welcoming when we arrived. The room was generally clean, but only had two towels for 4 people. We had hoped to spend some time at the pool but it was not very nice. I would spend a little more money and stay somewhere else next time we visit.

Incredibly overpriced for what it was, and Staff wasn’t very friendly. Basic hotel. We knew not to expect much but photos look better than it is.
Windows in bathrooms are exposing and there’s no sheer curtain in the front window so lighting is not ideal. AC either blasted too cold or wouldn’t stay a comfortable temp.

Fine for one night but I wouldn’t stay longer

I was visiting SLO helping with move out and only needed a place to stay for one night, and this hotel worked fine for that purpose. The location was convenient and close to Cal Poly, which made my visit easier.

The hotel is very basic and feels more like a motel than a traditional hotel, so don’t expect any luxury amenities. One thing I did appreciate was being able to park right outside my room, which made loading and unloading very convenient.

The noise level was reasonable during my stay, although the property did not appear to be fully occupied, which likely helped. Overall, it was clean, functional, and met my needs for a short overnight stay. I would consider staying here again for a quick one-night visit, but probably not for a longer stay. .

The pool is only opened from 10am to 6pm. I rode a motorcycle 250 miles and arrived around 6:00pm. It would have been nice to have been able to use the pool after arriving. Later hours would be nice. Also breakfast wasn’t spectacular. I arrived to breakfast towards the end of serving time. Bottled water and bottled orange juice cost one dollar each. Coffee was free and the food was a microwaveable jimmy dean breakfast sandwich. Nothing fancy.

Continental breakfast was okay, but they charged for water and apple juice. We stayed only two nights, and the breakfast consisted of a Jimmie Dean breakfast sandwich, Danish, banana, and Kurig coffee both days the same.

Overall, a good place to stay for the prices in the area. Close to a few food establishments that offered entertainment.

Four years ago we stayed here while building our new home on our rural land and became good friends with the Indian couple who owned it rocky and his lovely wife so since then every couple of weeks we stay with them for a break in February because they're close to the Amtrak we stayed the night before starting a international three months holiday to our shock and horror no rocky instead an elder down couple when we he led in she screamed at us because she thought the driver dropping us off was someone extra we were sneaking in she was rude and obnoxious
We thought maybe they were just filling in so on may tenth after thirty hours from Adelaide to Melbourne to La then 8 hours at union station and seven hours on Amtrak forty hours traveling with maybe one hours sleep we walked a mile and a half me in a wheelchair my wife carrying luggage mainly uphill to check-in and at 9 pm there was the banshee screaming at us that we were stupid if we lived nearby why not go home( our ranch is 75 miles away) then after over a hundred nights staying there she demanded $200 security for a $90 room we were treated like criminals we had prepaid way back I. February thinking the wonderful rocky would be a welcome sight after a monstrous journey how to kill a great property that was at the top put these two in charge do not stay here folks if I hadn't prepaid we sure as hell wouldn't have

Checking was good. Front desk staff was friendly. But at night the room next to us had an alarm that was set and went off at midnight. Called the front desk and they refused to check the room as they said no one was registered and staying in the room. I asked if they expected us to sleep with the alarm going off. And asked to change to a new room to which they replied they didn’t have any other rooms. There were plenty of empty rooms noted. I waited 10 min and the alarm was still going off. When I called the front desk a second time to see if they were going to go check the room they said no one is registered to the room again and I explained I understood that. But there is still an alarm that was going off. I then asked if I could go get a key to the room so I can check which I didn’t expect they would say yes. I expected them to check. But nope. They handed me a key to the next door room and it was then made my responsibility to go to that room and shut the alarm off. The people
were joking with me saying I was going to get taken by something Which could have been a possibility if someone was hiding in the room. But I was fortunate enough to be able to go into the room unharmed and was able to turn the alarm off and unplugged from the wall. So to say the least I had to do the work of the staff by taking it in my hands to turn the alarm off was a tad insulting to me.
I will not be staying at that location again with teeent of that sort

Beds not the most comfortable- most disappointing is beds are advertised as “Queens” and they were actually only “FULLs”.

Bathroom had zero shelving and nowhere to place toiletries, se we just pulled a chair into the bathroom.
Very clean, friendly staff with excellent parking. Definitely value for money, but the beds were the largest put off.

I arrived late and got a room. When I pulled the covers for the bed I realized there are many hair pieces underneath it. Called them and they replaced the room with an attitude.
Next room's bedding was clean at least but there was mold growing on soap dispenser, 1 of the pillows had a black mark, mini fridge was making weird noises all night. I used the ironing board and to my suprise cut myself with it because there was a metal piece poking out from the fabric. And lastly I found a empty bottle of FIREBALL in the room. Overall very dissapointed. I have pictures of all these issues.

Better than expected

This was the cheapest room I could find for the weekend, I’ve stayed at others near by they were more expensive and a let down so I was nervous.
Happy to report I really was pleased with my stay and would stay there again the the future.
Check in was easy and quick, I like that they have a list of rules in the room to make this transparent, my feet weren’t black after walking around the room barefoot, ac worked fine.
There was some construction noise going on next door early am but it wasn’t anything overwhelming, at least during my stay.
Love that they leave an extra towel and pillow in the room, as well as a blow dryer.
Love that they have a fridge and microwave provided in the room. Love that they have a bath/shower combo and not just a shower(at least in the room I was in).
I see other reviews had mentioned how the drive way is to small. While it is a narrow entrance/exit, I never experienced it being busy and rally didn’t see it as an issues at all.
The room was clean but there are little touches they could add to for simple comfort like better shower heads. I also enjoy would have enjoyed the option of an extra blanket, I run cold so I appreciate that option.
