This is a great little to stay in San Luis Obispo. It was within walking distance of downtown and made it very easy to get around. We didn’t have to take our car anywhere. I love the fact that the house of bread is right next-door and they have wonderful breakfast baguettes. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was basic clean and the staff was friendly. The only reason I gave it one star off was because the vending machine didn’t work outside the office. It looked pretty old and I have a feeling they’re making a lot of money there and not selling any product. However I was told the vending machine has nothing to do with the hotel but still it’s on the premises, I would recommend not using it.

This motel was fine overall. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were like bricks. It felt clean and safe. I appreciated the parking. The room layout was a bit different but spacious. Like most places, there was shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand soap available. The location was the best part. About 6 minutes from Cal Poly and an easy walk to everything downtown. Definitely no frills but not bad either.

I checked in at 6PM and had to leave immediately for a dinner, check in was simple and staff were nice. I came back to my room at 10:15 and immediately noticed the sheets on the bed were dirty with hair and a stain. I opened the sheets to find what looked like poorly cleaned blood stains and other unidentifiable stains across the sheets, hair, and a beetle that looked an awful lot like a bed bug. I went to check the front desk and they were closed. I messaged the desk but no reply. I left the hotel and slept on a friend’s couch.

Stayed one night on trip from SFO to LA. We specifically picked Thursday night as we wanted to check out the famous Farmers Market. This hotel was about a 10 minute walk away which was perfect to avoid parking hassles. The room was large, the bed very comfortable and the grounds very quiet. We will definitely stay here again!

The NOISE was outrageous! It stated at 5 am with the upstairs’ tenants or staff making quite a lot of commotion. Then, at 8 am the property had a worker doing wok on the room next to us, using electric saws and drills. Also, they advertise free parking but it’s only for one car. If you are meeting anyone in SLO and/or want to sleep in, DO NOT STAY HERE.

Clean. Great location. Parking for free. Probably could use some modernization but great place for the value. Best thing is how close it is to everything downtown. We only had to drive to head to the beach. We walked to everything else. Check it was easy, staff was friendly.

We have stayed here several times now on motorcycle rides to the California Central Coast. The motel is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The motel is located close to downtown San Luis Obispo which is an easy walk to reach downtown.

I'm so glad I selected this hotel instead of the more expensive ones downtown. It was easily walkable to downtown, plenty of parking with no issues. The customer service was wonderful. The room was small but fine for a short trip and clean. One issue was that I couldn't figure out how to get the TV to work. I was only there for one night so I didn't ask for help but I'm sure if I'd asked, they would have helped me get it to work.

It's the perfect less expensive hotel for a few nights. Very walkable to downtown SLO. It's my new hotel to stay in SLO with my family when visiting for a quick trip. Plus, the staff was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating.
