Every thing is ok but the room are really small and the windows are permanently closed so if you travel with a dog you can not open the door and the window its not really nice the location is perfect walking distance to the beach but the coffee is only black no cream no milk so gas station it’s good option to have some coffee with cream
Willow
The room was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The one staff member I met in the front desk. He was lovely informative, talking about the Morro rock and local amenities. Parking was simple lots of parking. We got a spot right outside our door. We didn’t have to use the laundry facilities so I don’t know about that, but it seemed easy. It was easy to find on the map. Right next to a community park so there was a couple baseball games going on of locals that was nice entertainment while we were watching the World Cup. We just stayed one night and had to leave pretty early in the morning and the hotel was very convenient right next to Highway one where we could hop on and hop off close To take out pizza and coffee so definitely will stay there again

This was our third stay, highly recommend!

Great place to stay and visit Morro Bay. My family and I were able to go to all the places within Morro Bay. The location was perfect and the staff was very friendly and helpful 😊

The young man at the counter, seemed to work night and day to make sure, this motel was clean and orderly, and that everything was working correctly, I will definitely comeback if he still working there.
Marbella
Everything thing was good , clean room & easy parking staff was nice & love that they have the washer n dryer it was so useful & love how ur so close to the beach
Samuel
Pool was green and effectively closed. Pretty dissapointing to have the pool closed when it's one of the selling features of a hotel.
Angela
We recently stayed at this hotel with an entire softball team, and unfortunately our experience did not meet expectations. One of the main reasons we chose this property was for the pool. The girls and their families were very much looking forward to spending time together there after their games. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the pool was in really bad shape. This significantly impacted our stay, as it was a key feature that influenced our booking decision.
While the staff did acknowledge our concerns and offered an apology, and they say the pool was later cleaned it was not resolved during our stay, and we feel the experience did not reflect the value of what we paid.
Overall, the stay fell below expectations due to the loss of the pool. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves communication and availability of advertised facilities for future guests.

AC unit was full of lint and hair in vents, rooms were small and beds were against the AC. Under bed sheet was hair and sand from previous booking, walls not clean property looked neglected outside, fading paint and pool was dirty.

I stayed at Motel 6 on June 20th. Although check in was at 3PM , my room wasn’t ready until 5PM. I was fine with that but the front desk lady was extremely rude to not only myself but to the other people checking in while I was in the lobby. She spoke dismissively and was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional and negatively affected the experience.
Bradley
Nicer staff, very helpful would recommend staying here. Rather than motel6 in Atascadero. Got in my room had a broken TV maintenance guy fixed it Within half an hour.
Tiffany
Dirty sand filled pool. Mildew in bathroom and shower. Dead bugs on floor. No shampoo in bathroom. Poor quality for what is charged.
Sophia
Everything had hair on it, the sheets, the towels probably from past guest. Our key cards barely worked. It was such a hassle even open the door and we weren’t the only one having that issue. We talked to four other guests there that had the same issue. The AC did not work that well and check-in took 20 minutes for some reason.
Margaret
Basic amenities, like iron, hair dryer, and even shampoo needs to be requested at the front desk.
Stacey
The room was very well kept. Bed was solid. Staff at check-in was very nice. The hotel is an older one, but the rooms look recently remodeled. Within a walk or short drive to the beach. Good place for the price.
Princess
The place was small

We loved staying here, had an Amazing experience!!!
Melissa
Be careful. Certain rooms have doors that seem like they are closed when you leave but can easily be pushed open leaving your valuables susceptible to theft. The manager on site is very nice but the motel is run down & subpar.
Bryan
Very happy with the price point and the facility. Will stay again
Peggy
Beautiful location, walking distance to the rock. The staff was very helpful at pointing out things to do and great places to eat. Very dog friendly
Ruth
Nice spot that's close to a PCH ramp, which makes it a super convenient location. The property itself is pretty small, so parking is a bit of a hassle, especially if they're fully booked. The room was decent; kind of on the smaller side, with one of the beds directly against the AC unit, but it was pretty clean.
There's a fair share of trips out to the area in my future, so I'll probably stay here again.

Walking distance to the beach
Hayri
Beds uncomfortable thin walls and very bad coffee
Lindsay
The sheets were stained and there was debris in the bed. There was no refrigerator in the room. The pool didn’t look very clean either. Was in a convenient location to go to the beach and the start to our pacific highway coastal driveway.
Vincent
Staff are available 24/7 and always smiling as they met my request.
Teresa T
Convenient location to the Embarcadero and to Highway 1. The room was clean. The staff member who checked us in was pleasant and helpful. There was a problem with the TV remote which was very quickly remedied.
Shirley
First let me say, I’ve stayed at this property many times. I was always satisfied. This trip wasn’t so great. Went to check in the guy at the desk was very RUDE. I booked 3 rooms. When I asked him if I could upgrade one of the rooms to a room with a microwave and a refrigerator. He said yes, but it would have to be two double beds. My sister says that’s fine. Then as the conversation keeps progressing, he gets nastier and nastier. He was hard to understand, from a foreign country. Smarts off to me several times. I kept my cool, which my sister was surprised. Then when she goes to pay for her room, she merely asks “how much for the upgrade before she pays for it, he very nastily says, “we don’t have any rooms available to upgrade to” wait!!! You just told us you did. Of course nasty reply again. Ok so we pay get the heck out of the office head to our rooms. Her room has a microwave. Hmm ok. Now for the room I was staying in. Right side of the bed electrical doesn’t work. Bed covers/sheets don’t fit the bed and come off when you sleep/sit on the bed. Bathroom you get 2 towels only. The shower curtain has the pink mold on it at the bottom, shower head is just above a mist, while my husband was showering water turns cold on full hot side. I will never stay at this hotel again. Something has changed, maybe ownership?? Motel 6, you can leave the light on but I won’t be back. Sad that this motel has gone down hill so fast.

Awesome place to stay for the money/ pets free! 5 minutes to the bay
Froilan
Staff friendly and accommodating. Area felt safe and quiet. Room small but adequate. Bed comfortable, AC a bit loud. Bathroom not as clean as we found hair/dirt behind toilet seat when we checked in. Other than that, it was good for an overnight stay.
Lyssa
The place was good for the 8 hours I was there overnight to shower and get a quick few hours of sleep.
Michael
Lacking in maintenance
Sabina
Good value for the money.

It is about what you would expect for a Motel 6. Nothing fancy, but it was overall comfortable and met our needs.
I want to note that we stayed here during spring break, so it was more crowded than what is probably typical. The room itself was clean inside, but the grass area and pool area outside had a lot of trash and overflowing trash cans. The walls are very thin. We heard music, dogs, and loud conversations until very late. We were in a downstairs room, so we also heard the kids upstairs running around or tap dancing or doing who knows what all night. That isn’t the hotel’s fault. That’s just inconsiderate spring breakers. The staff was very nice and went above and beyond to help us with the tv, recommend things to do during our trip, and were just overall very kind and friendly. We would come back… just not during spring break!

I had an incredible experience at Motel 6 and was honestly surprised by how great everything was for the price. The room was clean, comfortable. The bed was cozy, the linens were fresh, and everything from the floors to the bathroom was spotless. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making check-in quick and easy. They were also very helpful whenever I had a question, which made the stay even better. I really appreciated how quiet and safe the property felt throughout the night. The location was convenient, close to restaurants, gas stations, and the freeway, which made getting around super easy. Plus, having free parking and Wi-Fi was a huge bonus.
Overall, Motel 6 exceeded my expectations. It’s an excellent option if you’re looking for an affordable place that still delivers comfort, cleanliness, and great service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, budget-friendly stay.

A very high pitched sound from the bathroom and a leaking pipe somewhere
MELISSA
Air conditioning didn’t work, bed bug debris under the sheets. I booked 2 double bed non smoking rooms and and they gave me a smoking room that had a bad musty odor.
Lawrence
All good
Kayla
Easy walk to the beach!
Naomi
The shower bathtub doesn't drain. The room was small but clean, and it had a microwave and a small fridge.
Rosario
Everything was great just wish my room had a fridge
Frank
Shampoo or body wash not supplied. No towel rack in bathroom. Neighbors allowed to scream and holler until 4:00am.
Adrian
Clean room and close to the beach
Richard
Very clean room. Didn't have a hair dryer but when I called the office they immediately supplied me with one. Shower was nice and hot. King sized bed was firm but pretty good overall. No coffee in the room but was provided in the lobby at 7am.
My only issue and it really wasn't that much of a problem, was the tv was pretty dark it made it hard to watch.
Other than that it was very good considering I was very close to the beach which was very important to me...oh by the way pets are allowed for free and that is very important to me.

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff is wonderful. The only suggesting is not allowing guest to smoke near the non-smoking rooms.
Sara
Comfy bed , friendly staff. Clean room. No quarter machine in laundry room . Disappointed no refrigerator or coffee maker in the room . Coffee not ready in lobby before I left. So that was a bummer. A step up from a campsite but a small step . Really close to the beach , and mostly quiet at night .
Adrian
Clean, and walking distance to the beach
Kristen
Sheets had stains so it felt dirty. Took my dog out at 6am it was pitch black as no outside lights worked so that was a safety concern. Door had to slammed just to have shut all the way.

Clean and updated room. Staff was enjoyable.

No batteries in remote control. Bathtub wouldn't drain. Free coffee was good so that is why I didn't give 2 stars.
Melissa
Staff was very nice room was very clean. It was a great location near the rock and to Abarcadaro. It was good for the value, but the walls are very thin and the other tenants were very loud. So we did not get much sleep.
James
Clean dog friendly low cost room with wifi and friendly, helpful staff.
