It's a really nice hotel and staff is very nice. We checked in and when we opened the door to our room, to our surprise, we saw it wasn't clean. I spoke with the manager and she quickly had someone clean it. I would recommend this hotel and hopefully will stay here again as the rooms are comfortable and the bed was just right, not too soft or too hard.

Was notified day before check in that check in needed to be done by 9pm unless special arrangements were made in advance. Didn't affect our stay, but may affect others arriving late. Great view of Morro Rock & Morro Bay from our 3rd floor room, but having to schlep heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs was quite a chore, especially after a long drive. Super large bathroom with separate sink/mirror area. It would have been nice to have had a small round table with 2 chairs inside the room (for eating, enjoying coffee, reading newspaper, etc) - there was tons of empty space in the room for something like that. Very convenient to Morro Bay tourist area (dining, shops, marina, etc).

The shower pressure leaves something to be desired (still able to get clean quickly!), but I'll give this place a 5-star rating based on everything else. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Walkable to several restaurants, shops, anything you'd like! This is my go-to place in Morro Bay.

We didn't use the AC because it was too noisy but we could open the windows (they have screens for insects) to cool down the room. The bathroom was very clean but the sink vanity collected water after using the faucet--perhaps the faucet installation needs to be checked? Overall, good experience for the price and the location was excellent.

(our neighbors told us they had no towels.) There was only one desk chair and an odd corner chair that was not really usable. No table and chairs in front of the window to take in the view. No chairs outside the room to sit and enjoy the view, (not that you would be able to see much from a chair through the heavy wood railing.)

Stayed at this property on a Sunday night and was able to check in an hour early. The young lady who checked me in was very pleasant to talk to. She was very accommodating in case I wasn’t pleased with the unit I stayed in. As it turns out, the room was excellent. It was clean, modernly decorated and seemed like it was newly renovated. The bed was very comfortable. The location of Pacific Shores was ideal as it was in walking distance to numerous businesses and things to do. I would definitely stay at this property again. And the rate I received was perfect.

Great time staying here! Our family of 6 was very comfortable, we enjoyed the layout of our cottage, as each bed had its own space. The small kitchen was also great to have, and next time we come we plan to bring along our own cooking things so we can make meals more easily while we are there. We also loved how close it is to many of our favorite Morro Bay restaurants and coffee shops. Will definitely come back!

The room was a little uncomfortable. We had to sleep with the air conditioner on all nite. The room would get stuffy and unusually warm. When the air conditioner was on I slept with the blankets on when the air condition was off I kicked them off. Room was not like the other rooms we stayed in.

Cleanest hotel room we have stayed at in a very long time. Front desk employee was super friendly and accommodated us with an early check in without issue. Quiet area, walking distance to a couple coffee shops, numerous restaurants, shops, and about 2 blocks from the Embarcadero. Super fast check in and out. Plenty of parking, AC worked great, and great location in a very nice area of the community. I rely on reviews to base our travel plans around them. I highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here a few times. It’s comfortable, clean, convenient and reasonably priced. It’s also been recently renovated.

We loved our stay here. It was very quiet and walkable. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot. There was plenty of vanity space. The room was quite large. The Smart TV allows you to use your subscriptions. The only downside was our refrigerator was set too cold. It froze our food and there was no dial to adjust it down.
