As for the potential downsides, lots of bird poop on stairs and handrails. Housekeeping skipped our room during the week we were there even though we asked for a mid-stay cleaning/sheet swap, and the walls are a bit thin so you hear every door slam and ruckus from the adjacent rooms. None are deal breakers for us, merely sharing.

It's a really nice hotel and staff is very nice. We checked in and when we opened the door to our room, to our surprise, we saw it wasn't clean. I spoke with the manager and she quickly had someone clean it. I would recommend this hotel and hopefully will stay here again as the rooms are comfortable and the bed was just right, not too soft or too hard.

It was clean and bright our room only had one trashcan and it was in the bathroom and small. There was not a lot of extra towels, and the fridge kept making noise all night. Very thin walls.

Clean, huge & updated room with super comfortable beds. A/C did a great job keeping room at our preferred temperature. Was notified day before check in that check in needed to be done by 9pm unless special arrangements were made in advance. Didn't affect our stay, but may affect others arriving late. Great view of Morro Rock & Morro Bay from our 3rd floor room, but having to schlep heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs was quite a chore, especially after a long drive. Super large bathroom with separate sink/mirror area. It would have been nice to have had a small round table with 2 chairs inside the room (for eating, enjoying coffee, reading newspaper, etc) - there was tons of empty space in the room for something like that. Very convenient to Morro Bay tourist area (dining, shops, marina, etc).

Great place to stay close to everything. Clean beds were comfortable. Internet was spotty so tv didn’t work all the time. Shower needs more pressure. Some personal Jewelry was left in room and no one seemed to find it when called about. So there’s that not to happy about it at all

Large room was good but the carpet was visibly dirty, and didn’t want to be barefoot. The street is right next to the room. It was very loud in the morning. We were there 3 nights and the trash was never taken out and no towels were ever brought.

The shower pressure leaves something to be desired (still able to get clean quickly!), but I'll give this place a 5-star rating based on everything else. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Walkable to several restaurants, shops, anything you'd like! This is my go-to place in Morro Bay.

The room was clean and well-appointed. I appreciated the extra hooks and clothes hangers. We didn't use the AC because it was too noisy but we could open the windows (they have screens for insects) to cool down the room. The bathroom was very clean but the sink vanity collected water after using the faucet--perhaps the faucet installation needs to be checked? Overall, good experience for the price and the location was excellent.

The front desk receptionist was rude when asked for another coffee maker, making a comment \" Did you plug it?\" The second coffee maker was not working either. Also, was asked to confirm if the bed was a king size and she commented \" You could measure it yourself.\" No experience of customer service at all.

The property and room was clean, spacious, and well maintained. HOWEVER, There was only one set of towels for the two of us, and no towel rack or hook near the sink. (our neighbors told us they had no towels.) There was only one desk chair and an odd corner chair that was not really usable. No table and chairs in front of the window to take in the view. No chairs outside the room to sit and enjoy the view, (not that you would be able to see much from a chair through the heavy wood railing.)

The view was perfect. But upon arrival, the front desk person gave us the wrong room key; which led us to open a room that was being used by the previous person. This was awkward, but it was okay in the end.

Stayed at this property on a Sunday night and was able to check in an hour early. The young lady who checked me in was very pleasant to talk to. She was very accommodating in case I wasn’t pleased with the unit I stayed in. As it turns out, the room was excellent. It was clean, modernly decorated and seemed like it was newly renovated. The bed was very comfortable. The location of Pacific Shores was ideal as it was in walking distance to numerous businesses and things to do. I would definitely stay at this property again. And the rate I received was perfect.
