Nestled at the entrance to Montaña de Oro State Park, Sea Pines Golf Resort offers a peaceful retreat on California's Central Coast. The resort provides a relaxing base for exploring the coastline, located just 1. 3 miles from the centre of Los Osos.

Room was a bit stuffy but that was the worst of it. Everything else was great. There was a concert on the property but staff was very organized and even though we returned to our room right in the middle of it we still were able to park close to our room. The golf course is beautiful and nice setting when ending a long day.

Property is well maintained, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable but the shower had very low flow so it takes longer to get your shower done. We like the nine hole golf course. The restaurant had a large menu and the food was very good too. It’s a good value for the price of a room.

The room was big and beds were comfortable. Everything was clean but it was an old property. Maybe some find it charming. Quiet hotel, but the wifi was bad. I hardly could use it to load email or a website. Not much to do in those area unless you like hiking.

I stayed here for 5 nights to visit my daughter in Los Osos. It's in a beautiful location close to the town. The rooms are spacious and updated. They only have Direct TV and I would prefer a Smart TV so you can stream shows. But they did have a very large collection of DVD's to borrow which was fun!

Room was ok.you should book directly through sea pines directly. Expidea price is significantly higher.
The room with all the fees was way over the advertised price. I will not be booking this hotel in the future or using Expedia. Extremely confusing and disappointing. Especially when front desk clerk tells me the room is lot cheaper than what i payed on Expedia.
The hotel is self was quiet and clean. The usual negatives. Location is good . Our room faced a bricked wall. It did have some landscaping. The staff seemed nice. Like I said book with the property itself. Over all Not that bad, but I personally wouldn’t stay at sea pines again.

Dated property desperately needing an upgrade. First room had horrible mold stains and smell. Had to be moved to another room that was still musty.

Staff was amazingly friendly but they are working with a tough situation trying to overcome the conditions.

Nice clean room and big. We ended up staying here for the night listening to music and enjoying a few drinks. They have a great concert series on the greens. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We use this for a local base around Baywood, Los Osos, San Luis Obispo or Morro Bay, not for the golf. Very pretty, nice and helpful folks, decent price, nice outdoor spa. Not a walking destination, but sufficient restaurants & etc. fairly close by.

This was our 2nd stay at the Sea Pines and it was just as amazing as our first. With both stays we were impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of ALL of the staff from the front desk to everyone in the restaurant as well as the golf pro shop. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well furnished and the lighting is great in the rooms. We also really liked that we made reservations for the hot tub so that it wasn’t over crowded (it was just us) and we didn’t have to engage in awkward conversation with strangers :) We will most definitely stay at the Sea Pines again, and the food was delicious at the restaurant.

It's a beautiful location. Quiet and off the beaten path a bit. The rooms and facilities are showing their age. There'sa jacuzzi but you have to reserve it in advance. Apparently to manage the crowds. Which is ok I guess if you know to make a reservation. But we checked in early evening and by then it was completely booked up. We left the next morning.

This property is not worth the money I spent per night. It’s not a Resort property. I’ve paid less for more beautiful properties. The only reason that it was nice is because it was so close to the Venue I was attending. Did not care for the restaurant. Took 30 minutes for my party to place an order when it was slow. But they attended another group way faster. The difference I noticed between them and us? I noticed when I looked at the back of my hand. Never again

Accommodating staff. The room that was assigned to me was upstairs. At check in staff noticed I walked with a cane and found me a nice room on the ground floor.
Having the spa all to ourselves for our assigned time was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. Perfect getaway from the valley heat. Thank you.

Pros: The grounds are beautiful. It's convenient if you like to golf. Great location for exploring. There's lots of elbow room in the room and it's nice with a patio on the greens. If you are there during the live music sessions it's lots of fun. During the music concerts there's outdoor cooking and yummy food available. Cons: Something in closet smelled strongly like pee. Mold on shower ceiling and back of bathroom door. Fixtures and surfaces in need of replacing. TV did not work. We were there last year and that TV needed the front desk lady to enter our room for an hour to fix it. Restaurant is very loud and overwhelming. Waitress sprayed cleaning fluid near us and my husband was chocking. A very drunk obnoxious guy was in the bar/restaurant. The fish and chips were greasy and the clam chowder was not good.

Misleading photos and a tiered hotel.

The hotel its self is very dated, in the room we were given (222 ) was old an stained. Rooms do not match the photos shown on the adverts ( they show a much more modern interior rather than the tiered stained interior of our room)

We were the last to check in at 7pm so maybe we got the short straw.

The staff, food, and golf was great. Tough course for a novice like myself. The Pro Shop attendant was great and friendly, younger kid from Visalia.

One thing that can be improved, the beds were a little uncomfortable and pillows flat. Also, the coffee machine in the room didn't work.

Nice clean room that looked recently updated, overlooking the golf course. Walls were thin enough to hear murmurs of our neighbors in the next room, but otherwise quiet. Hot tub on the grounds is a nice amenity, and kids had fun at the driving range. Room was not ready for check in until 3:45, but check-in was quick after that.

The view of the bay was beautiful, and the location was safe. My main complaints are the spa was broken and in general the room and grounds need some repairs, and remodeling. The sliding door was probably 30 years old and barely opened (or locked) to the shared deck that looked out to the bay. That deck joined 2 other rooms with no separation. Security risk. Was very nervous to leave my 16 yr old daughter while we went to dinner.

The staffs r very friendly. The clubhouse food r very tasty and the service is grate. Will come again!!

Quiet and Peaceful Rooms and Property

Large room, comfortable bed, beautiful views and absolutely peaceful location. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room. Microwave and refrigerator. Beverages and snacks in the room are reasonably priced and convenient. Hot tub is large and tranquil.

The restaurant on the property was excellent food was so good we ate there both nights but we stayed., The Jacuzzi need it some upgrading and cleaning of the tiles and chips inside of the Jacuzzi. It did give you a feeling like you were in Hawaii. My husband and I had a nice time but for the money it should’ve been nicer accommodations.

We stayed 3 nights. There was never any maid service. The last night we went to the office late to get some towels. We were told there was no maid service because it was the weekend and they were short of staff. We were told this on the third night not when we checked in. Seems like $162 per night is a lot with no maid service. The TV was a real mystery to get working. After getting a \"no signal\" and having only a remote for the cable box, I was finally able to switch the TV input by using the buttons on the side of the TV.. There were no instructions about this. When we came back fairly late the last night there was no parking available apparently because of a large party at the restaurant. The staff finally let us use reserved spot. When I checked in I was charged $258 and then the desk clerk realized it was the wrong reservation and reversed the charges which are still lingering on my credit card. When I was then charged again for the correct reservation I was informed there would be an additional $75 deposit. Something I have never seen before. The refund of that so far not in evidence either. There were no comfortable chairs in the room-only two straight chairs with the table.

The place does have a very good restaurant. Good food and good service.

But I will never stay there again.

Located in a natural setting area (located inlet of a bay), great place for hiking with dogs. Also they have rooms that they allow dogs if you let them know ahead of time. My dogs loved the neighborhood! This was part of our short trip out of town to test if we can take a nice trip out of town with our 2 small dogs. And sea pine did not disappoint our expectations. Oh yea, if you are into golfing, it located in a nice golf course:)

The room has televisions that were hard to operate with the controllers that were supplied. Also has frayed curtains. But overall it was clean and had a pleasurable stay. The bar and grill has good food at a reasonable price. The golf course has a nice layout and in decent shape but could have some more level T boxes. We overall enjoyed the stay. THANKS

Sea Pines was beautiful, love that it’s dog friendly!
BUT!! the beds were way to high and way to hard! Felt like you were laying on a board!! Pillows were horrible no fluff and about 2 inches thick and also hard.

So much for your money.

A friend shared the info about this delightful place and we were so glad we took her advice. The setting is idyllic and my artist husband found many beautiful places to paint within walking distance. The restaurant on site was perfect for breakfast and dinner, reasonable prices and great food with generous portions. Overall, the accommodations and food were a real value.

It’s not freshly renovated or up to date. The rooms and bathrooms have wasted space in them. Also the biggest deal is there is one spa and you have to make a reservation to get in. They don’t tell you that until you check in. It was completely booked by 5pm. Frustrating!

The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant had a good selection of items. We enjoyed the spa.
There was a vast selection of movies that could be watched on the TV but we could not get the dvd player to work. That was the only negative during our stay.

Beautiful property. Staff was very friendly. Was frustrated with the spa. You had to reserve, which I understand with COVID, but when no one shows for the scheduled time it went unused and they would not allow any change in the reservation.
