Upon entering the room I smelled a strong smell of urine. I immediately started looking for another hotel online, but they were all booked up. My husband suggested getting air freshener but that would just cover up the filth. I walked to the gas station and got a bottle of 409 and paper towels. I cleaned the floor by the toilet and my towel came up BLACK. I proceeded to clean the entire floor and it apparently hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while. The smell improved but not much. I have never had to clean a room before. I would never stay here again.

My family and myself have stayed here twice and we booked the family suite . It was a great size for our family of 6. It’s also conveniently located to shops and steps away from the beach.
Staff was very kind . I would definitely recommend staying central coast Inn.

We liked this property. Parking was super convenient - right outside our door, and the location was great - walkable to a variety of restaurants, coffee place with good coffee - all on the main drag. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

- Location
- Free Parking on site and on street
- Bed was clean
- Free WiFi

The Bad:
- Price - $240 for this class of property is Robert
- The bed. Stiff cheap mattress and squeaky metal frame
- The HVAC is LOUD
- Walls are paper thin. You can hear cars outside your window and neighbors in other rooms

The Ugly:
- Property is run down. Toilet was loose. Cracked counter top.
-They expect yoh to wash your hair with body wash as the shower only had body wash and conditioner.

All in all this is $60/night territory not $250ish

For clarification purposes only, they do not have a three bedroom family room.I booked the three bedroom, and what it is, is actually three beds, queen size, in one room. I brought that to the attention of the person that was checking me in. She might have thought that she was giving the correct description but I let her know that she should definitely be updating it to state it is three beds in one room. She did let me know that there is a two-bedroom, but it was taken because they were sold out. Overall, was not a bad place to stay, short walk to the beach and a very short walk to anywhere you may have wanted to go in town.

The property was clean and fine just don't expect many amenities. I would recommend booking directly with the motel as they won't work with you on the room if you book third party such as Expedia. We had room #18 which I don't recommend and was told that there was nothing they can do about since I booked with Expedia. Having been a Travel Advisor for the past 10 years I know that's a reason they hide behind not wanting to assist in changing rooms. Not the best customer service but it fit the rest of the experience.

A pillow had hairs on it, the bed smelled like sweat and my wife and I couldn't sleep. I complained to the person at the desk, and the manager appologized, and offered a fifty percent discount next time. We will never staty there again. I hope they get their act together...

There was no blackout curtains you could not hear the ocean waves like they said the property was not on the actual beach they said it was and you could not find a barbecue pit to barbecue like they said they did the room floors wear filthy I had brand new pair of white socks on by the time I hit the bed my socks were black there was no dresser doors to put ur clothes in
The only thing I like about the room was the refrigerator and the microwave. I will never rent there ever again.

Very nice place to stay

I’ve had a lovely experience staying at this place. The place was very clean. The bed was comfortable, there were inly 3 pillows but you can request for more. The only thing that was a downside was the WiFi. It was very slow and difficult to connect to. But I had cell service so it’s not a big deal. Walk to the beach was 5 minutes and it was the highlight of my short stay.

We have been staying here for 5 yrs now , the owners are friendly. I love the location, the rooms are clean, great parking. The only thing that needs attention is the towels, they are not white, they are old and grey looking, come on owners replace them. I started bringing my own towels from home. Maybe get new pillows they are flat and you only get 3.

Management personal are constantly watching what you’re doing. It’s a no smoking property yet management smoking outside and the smoke was going right into our room. My room was for up to 6 people, which we had 6 people yet charged an extra $100 for an extra person. Only given 4 towels for 6 people and 1 small garage can in the bathroom. It is close enough to walk to shops, pier and beach.

Beware; this is a very old Motel. It has been upgraded very nicely; however, the walls are paper thin. So thin in fact, that my wife heard the man next door fart at 6 am!
Additionally, the TV in our room did not work. Overall, not horrible, and not great. It’s fine; nothing special.

I really don’t leave any negative reviews because all I have to do is never go back again but maybe this review will make them keep up the place clean. I paid $238 total for one night and when I checked into the room it was so dusty (top of microwave , night stand and night lamp filled with layers of dust, back of hair dryer ) I’m just glad it was just my husband and I. If I had my kids I would’ve definitely left . And most nasty thing was that towels we so old that it was not even white (nasty yellow with stains) I asked for new fresh towels and all them were same condition.

This property is kept very clean. The beds are comfortable, the linens are soft. The owners are welcoming. I love that it is dog friendly. The only bummer was the sitting area they had set up directly outside our room where other guests hung out late into the evening. Next time we stay, I will request a different room.

It was a great little place to stay! I went with my family and we stayed in a room that had 3 beds, 2 in the main room plus one in the bedroom. The room was clean, included microwave, fridge, as well as built in pumps with soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Staff was also very nice. It was a short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

As basic as it gets, but we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed three nights in a family suite, which was a main room with one bed, and a bedroom with two more beds. The beds and bathroom were very clean. The shower looked recently renovated and had AMAZING water pressure, which is often lacking in hotels. The shower was heaven. The property was very quiet and the staff was friendly.
The owners are skimping on linens. They gave us four towels for five people for three nights, and those towels were threadbare and in desperate need of replacement. I wouldn't even keep these as garbage towels in my garage. There were only two small pillows on each queen bed, and they didn't offer much support. Honestly I liked the property enough that I would probably stay here again, but would be sure to bring my own towels and pillows.

The place was cute when we arrived. Staff greeted us with a smile, gave us our room keys, and the wifi password. When we entered our “Family Suite”, it was a single room and bathroom. We traveled with a 3 and 1 yo so during their naptime, we had to sit quietly in the dark. The whole point of booking an actual suite was to have the kids in one room and we could watch TV or have a conversation in another room. The room was advertised to be 1,000 sq ft. I have lived in 1k sq ft and this doesn’t come close. There’s very little room for small kids and there’s metal/iron furniture so my 1 yo has a large bruise on her face after she fell face first into one of the iron chair legs. The floors were so dirty as well. The staff either don’t clean or they just move the dirt around. Our feet and socks became brown/black with dirt after 10 minutes of walking around. The place wasn’t completely horrible. It was quiet and the linens seemed clean. For what we paid, we could’ve rented a small house and gotten so much more. What irks me the most was the lying from hotels.com and this hotel. Don’t falsely advertise a place to people. When I brought it up with the staff, they said I should have brought it up to them when we arrived, but they should have put us in the correct room from the start. Plus, how do I know they aren’t going to retaliate? I don’t know them and I don’t trust people especially when they are willing to lie.

Excellent location, 2 minute walk to an accessible beach. Area was quiet on a Saturday night and felt safe to walk around.

The room was clean, but had minimal furniture. There were 3 queen beds as described, a few night stands, a small refrigerator, microwave, 1 luggage rack, & a small round table with 2 chairs. The room was to accommodate 6, but there was not anywhere to set bags, purses, clothes, or other personal items expect on the floor. There was no common areas outside to spread out and eat or enjoy the weather. Ok for 1 night with older kids, but for a family with small children it may be challenging.

Booked this place for a last minute Mother’s Day getaway for the weekend. We arrived 2 hours earlier than check in, but we were still able to check in & get our room. The room was clean & a good size (we got the family suite). The location was good also. Walking distance to the beach & all the stores/restaurants. The only downside about the room was the shower. The water was spraying so hard & we couldn’t adjust it. Not good for little kids or people with sensitive skin. But other than that, we would definitely stay here again.

DO NOT book this hotel. They are totally no credit. I booked a 3 bed room last year. When I got in to the room. There was lots of ants everywhere. They had no room for me to exchange. So I had to book another hotel nearby. The owner said I don’t need to to anything on Expedia. They will take care of the rest. They printed a receipt for me with $0 balance. But I never get back my $400. I tried everything I could. This is the last step I can do. I can’t believe this happened in US 2021.
