Staff were exceptionally friendly. Room was very clean.
Breakfast was ok. More seating is needed. Not very many tables available to sit at.

The staff was really great. The bathroom area is on the small size but that could have just been the room we got. Very reasonable price for the time of year. The breakfast was nice, good variety.
Rizwan
Amazing stay! The staff is very hard working and hotel was very good. Breakfast was very good as well. Thank you for the wonderful stay. :)
Josh
Unfortunately we had to wait 30 minutes in wet clothes after a beach day to check in because the host needed to go on break around 6:15pm. When we did get our room it was okay (with a balcony) but no AC so we needed to keep the balcony open. It was a bit noisy during the night and early morning (seagulls and slamming doors). Breakfast was good and host did provide extra amenities for us.
Emily
Please bring back your wine and cheese happy hour!
Juanita
Nice front desk staff but pool wasn’t working
Rudy
Nice peaceful grounds. Friendly staff. However carpet needed cleaning. Front desk charged for coffee. “Free” drinks at check in was limited to $8 drink (so no pina coladas at pool included). Dinner space is limited due to concerts. Good luck finding a parking spot (again due to concerts)…priority really should go to guests.
Denice
The Shower was very stuffy and the windows to the bathroom opened into a seating area in the hallway where people walked by. 🤔 The body wash in the shower was empty so if you didn’t bring soap you had to use something else. Also, there’s no air conditioning but there was a box fan in the closet which was very helpful.

Over all the experience was good

Amazing vacation spot!
Small, clean, cozy, and quiet hotel, friendly and helpful staff. They serve simple but hearty breakfast, so that there is no need to go out looking for food in the morning.
My favorite part was the hot tub. After a day of hiking, sightseeing, driving, it was so nice to get in the hot bubbling water and relax those sore muscles.
Would book again.

I love staying here! Shelby at the front desk on Monday morning was so helpful!! All the staff are! Thanks for making my stay feel so welcoming!!
Jennifer
A good deal and an easy walk to the beach. Friendly, helpful staff. Would return.

Booked a balcony with a rock view..balcony was very small and the two chairs placed on it had to be turned at an angle to sit in them..you are 1.5 blocks from Embarcadero street on the harbor so very easy walk to all the shops and restaurants. Room and bed were very comfortable..the bathroom sink had an issue and we woke up to a ring of dirt(?) Or sludge in the sink..After we took our shower and getting dressed I could hear water dripping..checked and the sink had filled up from the drain and water was pouring all over the floor..immediately contacted front desk and they sent a maintenance worker in about 20 minutes to fix problem..he had to snake the drains..breakfast served in lobby but is just waffles and cereal. Wished they had pastries or bagels. They did have bananas and oranges in a basket.. parking was easily accessed from the building..we used the spa which was the size of a swimming pool..very relaxing.. despite the incident with the sink we had a very relaxing stay..
Amy
The property is very well kept and is located within walking distance of everything you want to do.

Breakfast was horrible. Just a few small tables for customers to eat breakfast. Location was quite convenient.
Becky

Clean room and great location. Good size room too.

Toilet was next to shower and very tight. Other than that very good

Best part about this hotel is how close you are to the beach. Other than that it is old and run down. It’s very loud and no AC.

AC wasn't available. Breakfast didn't look appealing. Certains things didn't work in the rooms like ceiling fan lights, air flow vent in the restroom.
Lillian
Staff was nice, room was clean. Just spent one night but overall was good.

It was clean, employees were friendly, but I forgot my curling iron and they said the housekeepers probably tossed it😒

The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional which made check in and check out a positive experience. The complimentary breakfast was also a fantastic amenity featuring a wide variety of items to choose from. My biggest and really only complaint would be the quality of mattresses and pillows. Both were extremely uncomfortable, the bed was very rigid and the pillows were extremely worn and flat providing little to no head support. Additionally the elevators Occupational safety and health permit displayed inside the elevator was expired which doesn’t instill confidence that the hotels safety standards are taken seriously. In the end you get what you pay for and while I think there are some issues our stay wasn’t incredibly impacted by their shortcomings.
Judy
Absolutely loved this hotel. Front desk staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again.
Tresa
Natalie was so kind to help assist me with getting my belongings to my room, as I walk with a cane. The room with a balcony to look out & enjoy the ocean view was exceptional.
kyrie
comfortable bed, walking to beach, easy parking - good coffee at the Groggy Scallywag
Lisandra
Clean room, amazing staff, breakfast, and great beach view!!
Jason
Great staffs. Nice breakfast. Wonderful location. You can tell the hotel staffs and management care about their jobs. The only minus was finding a hair residual in a towel. But overall satisfied with my stay.
Amy
Clean room, beautiful view from the balcony. Bathroom is really small

The room is very clean when I walked in and the staff is very friendly. I really liked the area because it’s walking distance to the downtown area.
Teri
Clever room layout is designed to maximize space. The private balcony in particular is a treat, offering fresh breezes and lovely views. The rooms as well as the entire hotel interior are attractively decorated. Everything (ice machine, elevator, etc.) is easy to find. There are ample complimentary breakfast options. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Laura
Nice room facing the water with a view of the Morro in the bay!
Only prob was the shades don’t quite close all the way & balcony light stays on all night. There was a little noise from late night car washers at the Wash-It-Yourself place across the street. Bfast is ok if you’re into high carbs & weak coffee. Besides that, all good. Will return.

Nice room, reasonably large, but basic stuff. Interior corridors on 3 floors. Walking distance to the pretty bay and little shops. Breakfast was pretty standard for mid scale hotels. Parking was available and free, and a Tesla destination charger was a happy surprise.
William
Nice room, friendly staff.
Lorenzo
The view was beautiful. Room 330, view of rock and ocean. We got to use the spa. Water felt warm and get even tho it was chilly outside. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was good and was a good amount of options. And staff was really helpful and nice.
Liliya
The room was clean, nice bedsheets, not a bad mattress. Breakfast was good, parking was readily available; shower was amazingly hot. Hotel's staff was very courteous and nice. The only downside is that hotel itself is quiet old, so if you don't have super high expectations, you'll like it there
MynaLee
Clean comfortable room. Great staff! Very nice breakfast

We really loved it, we came on a motorcycle trip. It was so safe and we had a great time. It was clean, well maintained, and the breakfast wasn’t bad. The service was great. The front desk person, Andy, was very helpful. We’re coming back for my birthday in may. Can’t wait!!
Angel
Staff was awesom. Accommodating and very friendly would recommend.

yes it was and Shelby was awesome perfect personality fo the job
Abel
Staff were good woke up in morning and water heater out only cold water to shower everything else was good
Janice
Room was great and staff were fine. Place was quiet. The only problem we had was our smoke alarm battery started to beep every 30 seconds at about 1 am. We took battery out but this did not stop problem as it was hard-wired. We called night manager, but they could not locate a battery so we had to move to another room at 5:30 am. The front desk gave us a $25.00 refund but I feel it should of been more like 1/2 of the night's cost.
Grigore
It's a good stay for the money, the food was bad.
David
Best some real pillows!!!!!

Nice way to enjoy Morro Bay
Great location, friendly, helpful staff.
Frank
Good location near the water. The bed was extremely uncomfortable.
Tracy
Gave this place a 2 star only because we had an ocean view. The room had a weird odor I couldn't identify. Everything was old, small, low, and cramped. The window in the bathroom faced the hallways (they all did) so if someone took a dump, it would smell up the hallway. The top of the blanket on bed was itchy. Just was not impressed in the least and will not be staying there again.
Jenny
There was a stench in the room. Such bad smell that i couldn't even sleep. I opened the balcony door, but that made us cold. We didnt leave the hotel because there are few in the area with elevator. We are elderly. It would be the last time i will come near this hotel. They have the nerve to open these filthy and possibly health hazardous conditions to the public. I hope it was not mold that i breathing. Because after my complaint to the front desk the next morning, the clerk told me that they had cleaned the carpets. And maybe, they hadn't dried.
Worst hotel ever.
Worst hotel ever.

SHELBI is very nice , courteous and very helpful. She is really meant for this job.

Rooms are clean but Bathroom is tiny, barely room to get dried after a shower. Buffet breakfast room also very small and not really large enough for the number of guests, we had to wait to get in for breakfast. Overpriced for what it was but served its purpose as somewhere to sleep.
Deborah
Enjoyed our stay.
Great check-in experience, good parking situation, easy to get to room. Inside the building is large open air center with nice fountain feature. Quiet room, and very comfortable. Nice balcony with chairs to overlook ocean. Cute, quaint, little windows with blinds in bathroom that open out to the walkway to your room, but not compromising privacy (and make for a great night light if you leave the blinds open). Completely enjoyed our stay.
Rashmi
Free charging for EV!
Lisa
Not worth the price.
Wasn’t worth the cost. The best part was the ocean view but there is no AC. There was a fan in the closet. The room was extremely stuffy and it got quite hot with the sun coming straight through the sliding glass door. Plus the heat from the spa below us seems to make its way in the room. The spa had been closed most of Saturday due to needing a jet cover repaired. Our screen on the sliding door kept popping off the railing. There were long black hairs on our towels. I will say Harry at the front desk was very nice during our stay.
Melissa
It was to visit family
Alejandro
clean and friendly staff, love this property
Joan
Best value for the area that offers a comfortable stay, simple breakfast, and good location. Front desk was hospitable and friendly. Beds were comfy and room clean. It’s a beach style property so very minimal but actually had a big spa that the kids were able to enjoy when it got too cold outside. We never used our car and could walk everywhere from the hotel. It was sunny during our stay so the room could get a bit stuffy in the morning/day but we left the patio open and they have a fan inside to help. A plus was having a convenience charger!
Troy-Susie
Great place. Great service. Easy check in.
Joslin
Upon arrival, staff were very friendly and welcoming! They even let us check in a little early! Rooms were clean and smelled really good! I even had an interaction with a staff member after check in and she was so friendly. The hotel is just a 2 blocks from downtown and definitely walking distance! We will be back! 10/10!
Ameya
Incredible Location/Staff
View of Morro Rock and Bay from the room, beautiful view with morning coffee :-) Staff was so kind to allow check-in past their office hours. I had no signal on highway 1 and could not talk to them, but they made sure they prepared a note and lockbox specifically for me and provided me code over call, it was so quick, the ladies at the counter in the morning were super polite professional and helpful. I would recommend staying here and will do so again.
Roselle
Central to everything and walkable to all the retail and restaurants in Morro Bay. Has the perfect view of Morro Rock.

We've stayed here before and love it! Great breakfast and very large hot tub for relaxing. It's only a block from the beach and our room had a oceanfront view of Morro Rock. I would recommend asking for a third floor room though. We were on the second floor and there was noise and creaking floorboards in the room above us. But a very pleasant stay and we will definitely return!
